Chapter 57 - Chapter 57

The academy would undergo a complete reorganization in the coming days, merging the remaining students into new classes.

The old headmaster would be returning to the Underworld soon, and his position would be elevated. Naturally, this class would be handed over to another teacher.

Thinking about all this, he let out a long sigh.

Shaking his head, he quietly left the room.

After he left, the entire classroom fell silent.

Each student packed their belongings without a word and filed out of the school.

They needed to go home and calm down.

After all—what were they supposed to do when their classmates died?

That was… a lot.

Most of them would probably go home and ask the internet what people do in situations like this.

Watching his classmates spiral into an existential crisis, Izumi could only sigh helplessly.

Their mental endurance was really too low.

Just as he was thinking that, Koneko suddenly turned toward him.

"We're going to your house."

Izumi nodded. He already knew what she wanted to ask, so he didn't refuse.

After packing his things, he left the school with Asia and Megumi.

Eriri, seeing them leave, immediately followed.

She wanted to know what had really happened as well.

They had heard the headmaster's explanation, but it was obvious to them:

The "dragon" he mentioned was Izumi himself.

So of course they wanted the truth.

As the group of five exited the school gates, the grieving parents arrived, crying as they clutched the bodies of the fallen students.

The entire campus sank into a heavy, suffocating sadness.

Not wanting to be swallowed up by that emotional weight, Izumi and the others quickened their steps.

Back at Izumi's house, Asia poured drinks for everyone, then sat down, staring at him with wide expectant eyes.

Izumi sighed and began recounting everything that had happened—everything that occurred while they were unconscious.

When he finished, the room went silent.

None of them had imagined that such a terrifying battle took place while they were knocked out.

Koneko looked at him, eyes trembling.

"Wait… you mean you actually killed that intruder?"

Izumi nodded casually, as if it were nothing.

"Of course. Otherwise, how do you think we're all standing here safe and sound?"

"…"

Koneko found herself at a loss for words.

This guy… was a monster.

Megumi and Eriri fell into stunned silence as well.

Just how strong was Izumi… to fight someone like that head-on?

Everyone wanted to know.

But Izumi waved it all off.

"Alright, stop dwelling on it. We've got three days off—use them to rest."

"As for the EXE world, it's not our problem. If the sky falls, someone taller will hold it up."

"Koneko, don't tell anyone about what I said. Especially that secret technique—I can't use it again."

He didn't mind them knowing, but he didn't want the information spreading.

Koneko nodded earnestly.

"I won't tell anyone. Even if the Club President asks, I'll stay quiet."

Izumi had saved her twice now. Keeping his secret was the least she could do.

The others nodded as well—none of them would breathe a word.

Seeing that, Izumi relaxed.

Before long, Koneko, Eriri, and Megumi left—they needed to go home and reassure their families.

The academy incident had already hit the news. There was no hiding it.

They'd definitely be subjected to full-body health checks the moment they got home.

When the girls finally left, Asia threw herself into Izumi's chest.

"Izumi-sama… are you really okay?"

"That secret technique… you didn't hurt yourself again, did you?"

Her eyes shimmered with tears.

She was terrified he had pushed himself too far again.

Izumi chuckled softly.

"If I were hurt, do you think I'd be sitting here chatting with you like nothing happened?"

"No worries. It doesn't have any side effects now."

He rubbed her head gently.

Asia let out a relieved breath.

The last time Izumi used that technique, the recoil nearly tore him apart.

Seeing him unharmed now was the greatest relief in the world.

Izumi looked at her warm, worried expression and felt his heart soften.

In this whole world… Asia was the one who cared for him most.

With that thought, he decided:

Tonight… he would properly "pamper" Asia.

She deserved to feel his affection.

Meanwhile, the academy was thrown into chaos.

Even Rias had been summoned back to the Underworld.

News regarding the EXE world discovering another method of invading spread quickly.

The Three Factions—Heaven, Devils, and Fallen Angels—were all shaken.

The Biblical factions finally understood:

Continuing their internal conflicts now was suicidal.

Thus, the leaders agreed to sit down and discuss a peace treaty.

What Izumi didn't know was that the peace conference happened because of the events he caused.

The plot had gone completely off the rails.

After a full day of rest, Izumi resumed training Asia and began studying his own power.

His stats were all A+, his combined combat ability had ascended to SS+, reaching the peak of Transcenders.

Now he needed to consider how to step into SSS-Class—the realm of the Four-Digits.

And he suspected SSS-Class had wide variability, just like the Four-Digits in Little Garden. Above them was the realm of Broken-Rule beings.

The EXE world's Evil Gods were likely mid-to-upper Four-Digits.

But not Broken-Class.

His own authority, Az-Dahaka, was Three-Digit tier, and when he unleashed it into the EXE world, not a single being could resist.

Maybe the world's restrictions prevented them from surpassing that level.

It was only a guess, of course.

He'd have to meet them to know for sure.

He also had the blueprint for a Magical Girl Transformation Device…

but the materials were so rare he couldn't build one yet.

So for now, he could only stare at the blueprint and drool.

He really wanted a magical girl.

If he could turn Asia into a loli magical girl, that would be perfect.

Thinking about it, he swallowed unconsciously.

A magical girl Asia would definitely get a massive power boost.

Right now she was still F-Class, but she'd soon reach F+, and then climb to E-Class.

Enough for basic self-defense.

Even if she was just a healer.

As Izumi absentmindedly extended his perception—

—he detected something strange beneath his yard.

Something… interesting.
