Xavier and Freya turned to the sound of the voice, watching as a large beastman with thick, blond hair and a bushy beard walked over to them. He was wearing a lab coat and had his hands stuffed into the coat pockets.
His golden eyes twinkled at them and he gave off a jolly vibe. Yet despite the wide smile and friendly air around him, Freya couldn't help, but tense up. He looked too friendly.
"It's good to see that you've finally come here!" The beastman exclaimed loudly, turning his full attention to Freya. In a lower voice, he added, "Even if it wasn't… for what I imagined."
"Do you have a problem with why I'm here?" Freya asked, raising an eyebrow as she wrapped her arms around Xavier's.
The snake beastman stiffened at the sudden touch, but relaxed a single later. Meanwhile, the large beastman gave her a tight smile.
"Of course not." The beastman coughed. "You can come right this way… I handle things from her, Jason."
