That thought alone annoyed Xavier. He was quite enjoying his time of not having to work or go on missions, something he hadn't really thought would happen.
But then again, it wasn't like he had much to do before. He focused so much on going on missions to the Outer Lands that that was what his life revolved around. He didn't care much for anything else.
The snake beastman gazed up at Freya who was standing in front of him. Her hands were on his right arm, letting her guide ability purify the tainted mana in him via touch. It was quite soothing.
However, he felt it wasn't enough. He needed to get closer. Much closer.
"Is something the matter?" Freya asked, feeling a little awkward about Xavier staring at her.
For some reason, his gaze seemed heavier than usual. Like he wanted to devour her. It made her feel a little nervous, but at the same time uncomfortably hot.
