Dinner was a mostly quiet affair, Freya and Xavier both hungry from the event. Not to mention that both snake beastmen were ones for talking. Unless it was about some drama, but Wilson didn't have anything new to say.
So when Wilson's phone suddenly pinged, they all turned to it. Xavier frowned at the sight while Freya was curious about it. Especially when Wilson moved to pick it up.
Because while the younger snake beastman did always have his phone around for alerts, he usually kept it on silent or only used it for important things. Which made Freya wonder what was so important.
Then again, she did have an inkling about it. Wilson was likely going to have to do some PR stuff considering that there were reporters about at the banquet.
If that fight wasn't the limelight of the whole thing.
