Freya turned her head to the direction of the voice to find herself looking at Peri. The red-haired, bird beastwoman was walking over to her wearing a mermaid styled gown that matched her hair. Beside her walked a light brown-skinned beastwoman and behind them walked two beastmen.
The beastmen kept some distance away from the two beastwomen, but it was still very clear that they were together.
"That's the one from the tea party…" Xavier whispered, not really asking. "I think it's best if I step to the side for a bit."
Freya glanced at him for a second. "If you want to…"
She didn't want to have Xavier being uncomfortable standing around them, so she didn't say he needed to. But she also didn't want him purposely avoiding others to make things better for others.
People would need to get used to the fact that she had a snake beastman as a husband. Sure, they could take things slow, but avoiding the matter wouldn't really work.
