After lunch, they browsed the stores for an hour before heading back to Elisa's mansion. The bear beastwoman checked on Becky and Travis once more and it seemed they were doing fine.
Some were still upset about Freya and Xavier being served, but to most it was like they were shouting into the void. Many years of good reputation and video evidence had most on their side.
Which Freya was glad for. Though she was a little worried for Xavier. He said he was fine with everything, but a part of her kept wondering if he was just saying that.
Or maybe I'm just overthinking things… Freya silently mused to herself as her gaze shifted to Xavier.
The snake beastman instantly noticed her gaze and raised an eyebrow. "Something wrong?"
