Being shaken and screamed at was kind of deja vu-inducing, it didn't help that it was Hayate doing so, nor the fact that he felt like a truck had gone over him 100 times over.
``Stop it or I'll barf on you´´ said Lucius, barely keeping the contents of his stomach in his stomach. ``whats with all the fuss anyway?´´
``THANK GOD YOU'RE ALIVE... what did you do?´´ It wasn't until Hayate said that that Lucius took a look at his surroundings. Everything was a mess. ``Hell happened here?´´ asked Lucius, clearly curious about what could have made this mess happen.
``You happened, and I'm trying to find the how´´ That made Lucius stop, a literal shutdown of Brain.exe for him, a quick restart of a few seconds zoned out, and made him just get more questions. ``What do you mean I happened?´´ asked Lucius as something clearly wasn't making sense.
``Well, you were there sitting until everything started to float and you started to shine, and then everything stopped and fell, and you wouldn't wake up´´ said Hayate, clearly still a bit shaken by the experience. ``Oh, OH... yeah.. sorry, my fault, can you clean up? I'm kinda having a bad headache and tired´´ lucius said before lying down once again on the floor.
``I'm not your maid´´ answered Hayate, clearly annoyed at being asked to clean the mess Lucius made. ``But I'm tireeeeed´´ whined Lucius, clearly not interested in cleaning the mess at all.
Thirty minutes later, all was back to where it should be, all thanks to Hayate's efforts. ``So I got done with my shenanigans...mostly´´ said Lucius, lounging on the bed. ``So what did you get?´´ asked Hayate with curiosity about what Lucius could have done for the mess to happen in the first place.
``I got the upgrades I wanted, and a little surprise´´ lucius said, pulling up his status panel and all notifications he got.

Well, that was unexpected. Should he be concerned that the guys in charge of regulating the system didn't have a way to say how unique his unique skill or should he be proud of being such a chaotic variable that they can't even calculate his unique? Either way, it was a win. It was even more of a win because of what he got next.

Trying not to laugh is hard when the person near you has big golden letters over their head that say ''I'M SPECIAL'', Lucius chuckling in his whiny and androgynous voice didn't help either. He decided to return to what he was doing before Lucius's little unexpected stunt, browsing the system shop.
After browsing for a while, he found something that caught his attention, a promo for 300 bananas for 10 system points. Who would buy that?. ``Hey, Lulu´´ said Hayate, calling out to Lucius to get his attention. ``Huh?´´ That's all he got from Lucius, just a questioning sound. ``There's a promo for 300 bananas on the system shop for 10 points, who would buy that many bananas?´´ said Hayate, shaking his head in amusement. ``Yeah, who´´ said Lucius, who now had a suspicious amount of bananas strewn about his bed and a totally serious face.
``Why do you need so many bananas?´´ asked Hayate because his mind couldn't find a reason to have 300 bananas on their person. ``I bought 3,000 bananas, and because reasons that make sense´´ said Lucius, already peeling a banana.
``You're not making any sense, Lulu´´ said Hayate. He was going to keep calling Lucius Lulu until he either got tired of it or changed it for another. ``You're getting weirdly comfortable calling me that, people are going to think I'm a girl if you keep referring to me with such a name´´ said Lucius, throwing a banana at Hayate's head.
``OW!!, like it isn't happening already with everyone that looks at you´´ answered Hayate, not really thinking much about it. Taking the banana and peeling it, it didn't hurt physically, but it did emotionally. ``Touche´´ said Lucius, lowering the second banana he was going to throw at Hayate's head.
``So what's with the Situation over your head?´´ asked Hayate with curiosity already overrunning his common sense of not asking stupid questions to Lucius unless he wants stupid answers. ``What situation? My hair is fine´´ said Lucius, giving a tiny pat over his head to see if his hair got messy or something.
``Not your hair, those golden letters advertising that you're special´´ said Hayate, pointing at the letters. ``What letters? Do I have letters over my head?´´ said Lucius, looking up and, by his expression, clearly not seeing the letters over his head. ``There are any letters´´ said Lucius, looking at Hayate with an expression that gave off a ''You lied to me'' vibe. ``You can't see it? Shame,´´ Hayate was a little disappointed that Lucius couldn't see it, as it was hilarious.
``Anyways, Lulu, what did you do? Like what shenanigans did you do?´´ Hayate asked because he was pretty sure Lucius could get him some good skills. ``Upgraded a skill and created 2 others, and I'm going to buy some from the shop and pretty much be set for now´´ said Lucius, already browsing the shop, or that's what his gestures and the black panel in front of him.
``A bare bones response as always, going to teach me how to get an upgrade? Or even tell me the how?´´ said Hayate, clearly wanting to get into the shenanigans and do whatever Lucius did a moment ago, after all, he wanted upgrades.
``Use [meditate] and concentrate in yourself, not your body, yourself´´ said Lucius, trying and failing badly to imitate a wise old man tone. ``So I have to sit like you did, or? Because that position seems uncomfortable to hold´´ said Hayate, already trying to sit in a lotus position. ``I mean, if you want? I only did it for the bit´´ said Lucius, shrugging.
``So I just have to use the skill and that's it?´´ asked Hayate, already activating the skill. ``Yes and no, just focus on yourself and try to find something that feels like a little sun´´ said Lucius with a mischievous smirk on his face. Great, as if his earlier stunt didn't make him a little scared of what could go wrong during this.
So he just decided to trust it for now, nothing could go wrong right?, it was weird, like suddenly going from first person to third person only that your only allowed to see your body from inside if your body was hollow and the only thing inside is a swirling mass of energy and what looked like blood vessels spreading all over the inside of your body, looking around nothing looked like what lucius said and the swirling mass felt more like a bunch of snow than a sun.
After looking for a while, he decided to stop and come back. Coming back to reality was uncomfortable, disorienting, and a bit annoying. It was like being forcefully woken up from a deep sleep after being wrapped in a thick, warm blanket. ``Didn't work, where sun? Only big snow there´´ said Hayate, already given up on even trying to human after feeling cheated of the comfort of wherever that was.
``It's god darn comfy in there, isn't it? Follow the energy flow to the origin it will lead you to what your looking for, also im guessing the snow you talked about is the Qi or energy we have´´ said lucius with an annoying smirk on his face, god it was annoying and very punchable, he was going to do it, he was going to punch him until he felt better so he lunged at lucius only to be kicked on the stomach and hit by a roundhouse kick and being able to see lucius using the bed to handstand on before hitting the wall.
Groaning from the hit and feeling a bit disoriented and blood on his mouth, how can that guy who can't even use a sword right fight hand to hand so well?. ``You're wondering why I can beat you like nothing in hand-to-hand but suck at swordmanship? I was wasteful with mana at the beginning of my first playthrough, so I learned to use a staff to fight and how to use my fists when the staff broke´´ said Lucius, making Hayate freeze like a deer in headlights. Can he read his mind? No, that wouldn't be possible, right? Right?.
``No, I didn't read your mind, your face told me everything, yeah, your confused and bewildered face told me everything, you have two choices, go back to upgrading your meditation skill, or I will clean the room with you´´ said Lucius, already rolling up his sleeves. Yeah, the choice was easy.
He didn't want to get his asskicked by this guy because he knew Lucius would never let it die down, not that he thought that Lucius could beat him. So he sat down again on his bed and activated meditation again. ``That's what I thought´´ said Lucius with a triumphant smile.
Once again, here he started to search again, the energy had to come from somewhere, so where does it end? Looking around the blood vessels that carry energy around his body, and searching around, he found what could be a nexus? It was a bundle, the biggest bundle of all that he could see, so he followed the line down to the snow. This is not what he is searching for, where was that sun???.
After running arround and moving like an scared cat for no reason at all, he absolutely wasnt throwing a tantrum for not finding anything but he found something after a while, a chain, a translucent chain that only made itself noticeable after touching it, it was connected to the snow ball and went up, following the chain up he found what he was searching for, a sun, the sun was there tiny and chained by a bunch of chains, when did this get here? This wasn't here before. Was he supposed to do it right now? Touch it? Would he burn if he touched it?, well it was the only thing he could think of, he hesitantly moved his hand closer and closer to the little sun, it was warm, touching it didnt feel like burning or too hot, it just felt warm like he could be there just basking on the warmth of this sun untill he felt a pull at the back of his mind, the pull grew stronger by the second until he started to feel sideways, that made him back up from the sun and the feeling went away.
``That was... weird´´ Touching the sun again made the feeling come back. Was he supposed to let it happen?. After debating it he chose to experiment a little as going outside wasnt an option, he didnt want to feel like life took something from him. the pull was weird, it was there but it tried to take him to sometwhere sideways, where was it going to take him? he would know in a minute or so, after a while his vision started to blur and everything felt weird and the next moment he appeared on a large platform with grayish walls and floor there was nothing there. ``Kinda.... desolate here, what am I supposed to do here? Die out of boredom?´´ Hayate didn't know what to do after getting here, there was nothing here, just empty space. It felt like home for some reason. ``Took you long enough~ got lost in the way?´´ Hayate stopped as someone called out to him from behind. That voice, it was him. How did he get here? Turning his head slowly, he saw him.
