"Little Xiao, step back let me deal with him" the boy next to the girl spoke. It turns out that the two are facing off the other boy opposite them who is a level above them as he is Grand ascension realm peak stage cultivator while the other two are at the late stage of it.
"Hehe..., you two are really arrogant. I asked you to let me taste your sister for a bit and I will help you two leave here successfully but you refused. As you don't appreciate kindness I will then have to kill you first and I will still enjoy your sister" The male scoffed as if everything was already going the way he planned.
The green robed man name is Chen mu, a local around here, although his talent was not much but he was referred to as genius within the Rock city, he is also a loner so nobody knows much about him. While the other two are from the Ping clan, a small clan in Rock city, the strongest person presiding over it is an earth immortal cultivator.
"Chen mu aren't you afraid that our clan will hunt you down?" the boy said but Chen mu wasn't having any of those as he was already attacking "Raging flame!" he casted and immediately the temperature of the whole place boiled whilst a fiery red flame gushed out heading towards the other boy at a fast speed. The boy named Ping An panicked but still stepped forward to block the attack "Earth shield!" but the attack he summoned although at the same level as Chen mu but the different in cultivation made it much weaker.
His earth shield crumbled whilst the flame attack continued towards him. His hand trembled but he clenched it tight while waiting for the attack to approach. Jade watching all these sighed and stepped forward appearing next to Ping An in one single step "Space rift" she muttered and space open and swallowed all the flames closing back immediately, shocking the three. "Who are you?" Chen mu asked as fear crossed his eyes. The girl that just appeared from nowhere he has never seen before and her looks made him feel insignificant so much so that even if he is stronger than her he won't be able to convince himself to defile her.
"You don't need to know. Just understand that you can't do anything to this two. I heard everything that transpired between you guys. So just leave. Now" Jade said, her face expressionless. "Are you one of those young masters from afar who came to the boundless mountains?" Chen mu said already believing himself. "Young miss, I'm sorry for offending you just now. I will take my leave" Chen mu cupped his hand together in apology and turn to leave "Wait a minute!" Jade stopped him.
"What do you mean young masters from afar? Are there people from other places coming here?" she asked and Chen mu nodded. "Superpower from Grand domains and Ancient domains are coming here of course. There have been a rumour of a mythical beast egg hatching. No one know the exact beast it is or how the information was leaked, but it is said that the beast did no belong to this world. Therefore the eastern region superpowers made a rule that they will not attack but instead send their young masters and young miss of their clans to fight over the beast as training. Anyone of them who ended up having the beast recognize them and initiate a soul contract, other superpower will not interfere" Chen mu said.
"What do you mean Grand domains and Ancient domains? Are they that powerful?" As Jade asked this question not only Chen mu but even the Ping siblings looked her way in suspicion. She cleared her throat "You see, I have been cultivating in seclusion ever since I was young. It wasn't recently that my master threw me out and left me to fend for myself" she managed to come up with a genuine enough answer. Even if she might not have read a lot of cultivation book while on Earth, at the very least, she know enough to find an answer.
"Oh, that's right. Maybe your master did not tell you but the real reason he must have dropped you here is to fight for the beast recognition too" Ping An pipped in. But little did Jade know that her appearance and skill was what made her story more believable and not the story itself.
