Sea Circle Calendar, Year 1520.
On the day the Marines announced Ace's execution and formally went to war with one of the Four Emperors, the Whitebeard Pirates,
the Magic Eye Pirates, through a worldwide broadcast, killed members of the World Government, the Big Mom Pirates, and the Revolutionary Army in front of the entire world.
At the same time, they also declared to the world that they were going to war with one of the Four Emperors, the Big Mom Pirates.
Under the impact of these two successive bombshell pieces of news, the entire world became somewhat quiet, as if the previously calm situation had, in an instant, turned turbulent.
Early the next morning,
the World Economy News began distributing newspapers across the globe with the bold headline: "Turbulent Seas."
As the rulers of the New World and the very peak of all pirates, two of the Four Emperors were suddenly facing unprecedented circumstances. No matter what the final outcome would be,
it was enough to prove that the "turbulence" of the entire sea had begun.
Some people were terrified, while others were excited.
At the end of the newspaper, it even quoted the line declared by the Magic Eye Pirates' captain, Yuuki, before the entire world—
"The curtain of a new era is about to rise!"
Gran Tesoro.
Inside the grand hall on the top floor of the Golden Hotel, several figures stood respectfully.
Aside from the members of the Magic Eye Pirates, there was also Ain, representing the "Neo Navy," and Jewelry Bonney, one of the Supernovas and captain of the Bonney Pirates.
Bonney had been brought aboard by Yuuki. At this moment, her entire body was tense, and she maintained a vigilant posture toward everything around her.
"Since we've already declared war on the Big Mom Pirates, everyone should start preparing."
"Vice Captain Conrad, along with the Blue Ogre Dorry and the Red Ogre Brogy, will remain behind on Gran Tesoro. The rest of you should prepare for battle. In two days, we depart for Whole Cake Island."
"Buggy, you've been in charge of maintaining the pirate ship. There won't be any issues, right?"
Yuuki spoke with a serious expression. After finishing, he turned his gaze toward Buggy.
"Don't worry, Captain."
Buggy grinned widely, his eyes full of excitement.
"Our ship has been maintained with the best materials, and I've even added quite a few little features. We can set off at any time."
Mohji cracked his knuckles, equally fired up.
"The Big Mom Pirates are one of the Four Emperors. I never thought there'd be a day when we'd get to fight them. This is really something to look forward to."
"Two of their Sweet Commanders have already been taken down by us. I've heard that the strongest among them is Charlotte Katakuri. I'll take him."
Cabaji wore a faint smile as he brushed aside the hair on his forehead.
"Cabaji, that guy's mine!"
Hearing this, Mohji immediately shouted.
Seeing the two begin arguing almost instantly,
Marianne cast them a calm glance and spoke softly,
"Pointless. Just make sure the two of you don't embarrass the Magic Eye Pirates when the time comes."
"The Four Emperors should have Poneglyphs, right?"
Robin suddenly spoke softly.
"Big Mom should have three. Besides the regular Poneglyphs, there's also a red Road Poneglyph."
"That red Road Poneglyph must be obtained. Use your spatial magic to transfer it onto Gran Tesoro."
Yuuki nodded, looking at Robin as he reminded her.
"Understood."
Robin's dark blue pupils flickered slightly as she nodded seriously.
"Can I join as well?"
Uta flicked her red-and-white ponytail and crossed her arms, her tone carrying a hint of excitement.
Since joining the Magic Eye Pirates, she had rarely taken part in their overall operations. For instance, she had not participated in the Sabaody incident.
Originally, Uta had thought that this time, in the conflict between the Magic Eye Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates, Yuuki would also not allow her to participate.
As for the reason,
Uta understood very clearly that Yuuki knew she did not like pirates, even disliked them. Although she had joined the Magic Eye Pirates, most of the time she was known aboard Gran Tesoro as a singer.
"Of course. You are an important member of our crew."
Looking at the excited Uta, Yuuki smiled.
"Didn't you want to use your songs to make everyone in the world happy and create a new era without pirates?"
"Then let's begin by eliminating the Four Emperors. Even though we currently carry the identity of pirates, there's nothing better than using pirates themselves to bring an end to the chaos of pirates."
Uta's light purple eyes immediately became moist.
So, he had always remembered her dream?
"I'll do my best."
Uta spoke firmly.
Buggy, Marianne, Robin, and the others all showed looks of surprise.
It was the first time they had heard Uta's dream, and although it did seem somewhat at odds with their current identities,
through those words just now, they also felt for the first time the true intent of their captain.
"Eliminate all pirates?"
"Create a new era?"
Robin murmured softly, then suddenly smiled brightly.
"That sounds even more difficult than becoming Pirate King."
After arranging the upcoming matters, Marianne and the others left the golden hall one after another.
Only Bonney and Ain remained.
At this moment,
Bonney was still immersed in shock and confusion.
She had only come because she had unexpectedly learned that the Magic Eye Pirates had information about Kuma. Who would have thought that the Magic Eye Pirates would once again stir up such a huge situation?
What kind of joke was this?
That was one of the Four Emperors—the very peak of the seas.
And yet, with war about to break out, the group from the Magic Eye Pirates just now had not shown even the slightest trace of tension or fear.
Especially that mysterious and terrifying man, Yuuki—he had acted as if he were simply assigning an ordinary task.
Ain was equally shocked.
Eliminate all pirates?
That was actually the same as her teacher's ideal, yet the one saying it was a pirate.
A complicated look flashed through Ain's eyes. She glanced at Yuuki, then quickly withdrew her gaze.
"How is Z doing?"
Yuuki had already noticed Ain's earlier glance and spoke calmly.
"Teacher has already begun consolidating his forces. It will still take some time."
Ain straightened her posture, then hesitated slightly before continuing,
"Teacher asked me to ask you… do you have confidence?"
Hearing this,
Yuuki let out a light laugh.
"It seems Z still doesn't quite trust me."
"Tell your teacher later that there's no need to worry so much. I don't think we'll lose to the Big Mom Pirates. Even if such a possibility exists, there won't be any losses on your teacher's side."
"When he lost his arm before, he was rather reckless. Now that it's recovered, he's become cautious instead?"
As he spoke, there was a hint of mockery in his tone.
Ain's expression changed slightly, but in the end she replied without emotion,
"I understand. I will relay your words to my teacher."
After speaking,
Ain gave a slight bow to Yuuki and turned to leave the hall.
In the golden hall,
only Bonney remained.
Feeling Yuuki's gaze on her,
Bonney subconsciously shrank her neck. She had a strong feeling that she had just heard far too many secrets.
Now, she was already starting to regret it—she shouldn't have come to the Magic Eye Pirates the moment she heard news about Kuma without verifying it carefully.
It was all because she had been unable to find Kuma for so long, so when she suddenly heard such news, she couldn't hold herself back.
Yuuki did not speak, and the entire hall fell silent.
Under this somewhat heavy atmosphere,
"You said you know where Kuma is, right?"
Bonney was the first to break the silence. She lifted her head and glared at Yuuki, speaking loudly as if trying to muster her courage.
Yuuki looked at Bonney's somewhat annoyed expression and found it slightly amusing.
"Before discussing business, could you return to your original appearance? A little girl pretending to be an adult looks rather strange."
As soon as these words were spoken,
Bonney's face instantly turned pale, and she took a step back subconsciously.
"What are you talking about?"
Seeing her reaction, Yuuki shook his head, clearly finding it uninteresting.
Her Devil Fruit was known as the Age-Age Fruit. On the surface, it allowed her to freely manipulate age, but in reality, its abilities were far more complex than that.
"If you're not willing to show your true appearance, then forget it."
Yuuki stood up and walked toward the deeper part of the hall, speaking without turning back:
"Didn't you want to see Kuma? Then follow me."
(End of Chapter)
This is the end of the story, I'm sure the author had a lot of plans for this but it comes to a stop here. I was so reluctant to post this even though I finished reading this book in like early 2025 I still can't help but miss it. It was fun while it lasted though.
For those of you who might still stick around I'm starting a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Fanfic today.
Oh and in case I don't see ya. Good afternoon, Good evening and Goodnight!
