Hey guys, Amina_sims here.
So that last chapter was basically the end of the Black Clover portion of this story. It was honestly unexpected, but I think this message from the book's launch can help put things into perspective.
Author's note:
…
The results haven't been great—scratches head~
After nearly 200,000 words, there are only around five to six thousand bookmarks. The performance is honestly pretty poor.
In fact, the book already lost its recommendations the week before last. Normally there are four rounds of recommendations, but this one didn't even make it past the third.
I originally planned to go premium last week, hoping maybe I'd get another recommendation—but… nothing came.
Ah, well.
When I first started this book, my editor did warn me that the theme was too niche and probably wouldn't perform well.
Haha~
Personally, I really love Black Clover. It just felt like a waste not to write something about it.
That's what I thought at the time—and it's exactly what I told my editor too.
No matter what, everything's coming to a close now.
If you've enjoyed this story, I hope you can support it with a first subscription.
Let's go!
So, from what I understand, the book wasn't doing well even after the first round of subscriptions. Because of that, the author likely shifted to One Piece to spark more reader interest. That said, this is just speculation—I didn't personally speak to the author.
From this point on, the story takes place in the One Piece universe. Up until the author goes on an indefinite hiatus, Yuuki does not return to the Black Clover world.
The tone of the story also changes a bit from here on. But if you want to keep following Yuuki's adventures in One Piece, stick with me until the end.
