"Here! Here!" Hannah ran across the house excitedly, stopping only at a white door with a pastel rainbow sign bearing the twins' names. "Birdies, your room is here!"
Ian and Olivia, each holding a baby, chuckled at the big sister's enthusiasm. They didn't enter the room immediately, however, waiting for Eugene, who was still walking slowly with Arthur's help. Behind them, Robert was busy moving the bags from the car to the house.
"No need to wait for me," Eugene waved his hand. "Go on, open the door."
"No," Hannah shook her head. "I'm waiting for Papa!"
Apparently, while Eugene was still in the hospital, Hannah had decorated the nursery more to welcome the twins with Sophie's help. Eugene could only chuckle slightly before grimacing from the pain. Ugh...couldn't even laugh freely; no wonder a lot of people got cranky after giving birth.
"It's okay, Papa, walk slowly," the girl said. "I will wait."
