Just then, a hurried siren sounded in the distance, and two Marine warships sailed into the harbor at top speed.
On the lead warship, a Marine officer with the rank of Rear Admiral was anxiously observing the situation at the dock with binoculars.
The moment he clearly saw the man at the bow of the going merry, he couldn't help but freeze, "Saint Ian?!"
"Quick! All hands land! Level one alert! Block all roads leading in and out of the port! Not even a fly is allowed to enter before Saint Ian leaves!"
The order was quickly relayed, and teams of Marine soldiers in white uniforms marched down the gangplank in an orderly fashion, forming an impenetrable human wall on the dock to separate the frenzied crowd from Ian and his group.
The Marine Rear Admiral jogged over to the going merry, straightened his uniform, then bowed deeply, his voice trembling slightly with excitement.
"Your subordinate, Rear Admiral Shiver of the Marine Branch, greets Saint Ian!"
Ian glanced down at him, then looked at the crowd, who, though blocked by the Marines, still wore expressions of worship and gratitude, and finally tasted something different.
He had originally only intended to clear out some unsightly trash and incidentally give Blackbeard an offer he couldn't refuse, but he hadn't expected that, by chance, he would become the savior in the eyes of these ordinary people.
"How interesting."
Ian's lips curved. This feeling of being revered by all was completely different from the fear-induced reverence he had enjoyed in the Holy Land.
"I hadn't planned to stay, but..." He paused, his gaze sweeping over the island's unique architecture, "Since you are all so enthusiastic, This Young Master will give you an opportunity to host me. I'll stay here for two days."
Rear Admiral Shiver was immediately overjoyed upon hearing this: "Yes, Saint Ian! I will immediately arrange the best hotel in town for you!"
...The most luxurious hotel in town was now surrounded by Marines, three layers deep inside and out.
The hotel owner, a portly middle-aged man, was leading all his staff in a bow at the entrance, the cold sweat on his forehead making his receding hairline gleam.
Ian and his group were escorted to the top floor, where the presidential suite was located.
The entire top floor had been booked.
Ian naturally stayed in the most central and luxurious presidential suite.
The room arrangements, however, reflected a subtle "security consideration."
As guards, Gion and Tina's rooms were right next to Ian's on the left. This wasn't Ian's deliberate arrangement, but rather that as Marines, they had to stay closest to their protection target.
Gunko's room was next to Ian's on the right, also due to her duties as a guard.
Nami and Kaya's rooms faced Ian's door. Princess Sally and Princess Anna's rooms were next to Nami's.
Night fell.
Kaya, content after a day of shopping and a gourmet dinner, contentedly fell asleep early on the soft bed, clutching a medical book.
In a daze, she felt the mattress beside her gently shift.
She half-opened her eyes and saw Nami tiptoeing out of bed like a thief, then, barefoot, carefully opening the door, peeking out with her small head, and then slipping out.
Kaya was too sleepy and simply thought Nami was going to the restroom. She mumbled something, rolled over, and fell into a deep sleep.
In the corridor, Nami had just gently closed her door and hadn't even had time to catch her breath when the door next door also opened silently with a "click."
Princess Anna, wearing a sexy silk nightgown, also furtively poked her head out.
Their eyes met, and the air instantly solidified.
Anna was first startled, then gave Nami an understanding smile and put a finger to her lips, making a "shush" gesture.
She quickly walked up to Nami, lowered her voice, and her tone was full of teasing: "Little mouse, not sleeping so late, are you trying to sneak into the Young Master's room?"
"No... no, I'm not!" Nami's pretty face flushed, and she argued with evasive eyes, "I just came out to look at the night view, yes, the night view!"
"Night view?" Anna looked her up and down, chuckling, "What night view is there to see in the corridor? Don't you think I know your little thoughts?"
Anna leaned close to her ear, her breath like orchids: "It seems you've already experienced the joy of becoming the Young Master's woman. How about... we go serve the Young Master together tonight?"
"Who... who wants to go to his room!" Nami's cheeks instantly turned so red they looked like they might drip blood, but she was still putting on a brave front.
But before she could finish speaking, Anna had already grabbed her hand without question and pulled her to Ian's door.
Just as Nami was still hesitating and struggling, wondering whether to flee at the last minute.
"Click."
The door opened.
Ian leaned casually against the doorframe, his gaze sweeping over the two beautiful women, a playful smile on his face.
"What are you two discussing at my door?"
Before the two women could react, Ian suddenly reached out, extended his long arms, and with one hand for each, directly pulled the gasping Nami and Anna into the room.
"Bang!"
The door slammed shut.
A moment later.
In the adjacent room, Tina and Gion, who had just entered light sleep, opened their eyes almost simultaneously.
"Doesn't Saint Ian sleep at night? Tina doesn't understand!" Tina pulled the covers over her head, complaining irritably.
Gion, however, seemed much calmer. She silently took two small cotton balls from her nightstand, inserted them into her ears, and said calmly, "You'll get used to it."
Tina was startled, then, imitating Gion, she also plugged her ears with cotton and lay back down.
But the cotton's soundproofing wasn't very good, and Tina couldn't fall asleep at all.
Annoyed, Tina suddenly sprang out of bed, irritably ran her fingers through her hair, and finally walked into the bathroom with a resigned look.
The sound of cold water splashing became the only clear note in this ambiguous symphony.
The next morning.
Their biological clocks woke Gion and Tina on time.
The two walked out of their rooms with identical dark circles under their eyes, preparing to go to the restaurant together for a meal.
However, as soon as they stepped out, they saw the door to the room next door on the right also open.
Gunko walked out of it expressionlessly, also sporting clearly visible dark circles under her eyes.
