They invited Umbra through shadow magic at dawn. His response came immediately.

He appeared in their chambers exactly one hour later.
"This is serious. You've made a decision about something." He said as he looked at both of then.
"We want to discuss an arrangement." Raziel said. "A trial arrangement involving all three of us."
"Explain."
"Nyx has feelings for you which aren't fading despite your absence. Suppressing them is destroying her and both of us slowly. We've been advised to consider alternative relationship structures."
"Polyamory? You're proposing a triad?"
"A trial for three months." Nyx clarified. "To see if it's sustainable."
"Why now?" He asked. "You've spent five weeks avoiding me. Why invite me back?"
"Because avoidance isn't working, and I'd rather face jealousy than watch Nyx die from suppression."
"What exactly are you offering? Scheduled evenings? Physical intimacy? Emotional connection?"
