Umbra arrived with a different kind of energy on the first day of Nyx's last week of training.
"So we have seven days to make you an expert in defensive magic. That means we need intensive training, we'll need two sessions daily instead of one."
"But…" Raziel said.
"It's necessary if she wants to defend herself against dimensional manipulation." Umbra cut him off. "Earth can try for another extraction attempt at any time. One session per day for a week isn't enough."
Everything Umbra said was right. But two sessions daily meant twice the exposure , twice the connection building, and twice the risk.
"We'll do sessions in morning as well as in the evening, three hours per day." Umbra continued. "That will give Nyx enough time to master defensive techniques that would normally take months."
"And it conveniently doubles the time Nyx spends with you usually." Raziel said.
