"Is there a problem?" He asked in a calm tone.
"No problem." Umbra replied. "I was offering to teach shadow magic to Nyx. But she is skeptical of my motivations."
"She has good instincts." Raziel walked to stand beside Nyx. "She doesn't need to learn shadow magic."
"Actually, she should." Umbra said. "During the earth invasion, I noticed something. The dimensional anchor was technological, but still it was weakened by shadow magic. If Nyx had shadow training, she could have resisted it herself instead of needing me to intervene."
"You're saying shadow magic can protect against dimensional manipulation?" Raziel asked.
"Yes, along with the other things. Shadow exists between light and dark, between dimensions, between states of being. Understanding it gives you defensive options against threats in those spaces."
"And it conveniently requires Nyx to spend time with you alone for learning."
