As the laughter and chatter continues, Melody excuses herself to make a phone call.
Melody: *She steps outside, phone at hand.* Mom? You won't believe what just happened...
Snow: *Her voice crackles through the phone.* Melody? Is everything alright?
Melody: *She paces back and forth.* More than alright! I'm with Goku and his family, and they've invited me to stay with them!
Snow: *She chuckles softly.* Oh my, that's quite the development. Just don't go falling head over heels for Gohan, now.
Melody: *She blushed profoundly, despite being alone.* Mom....! Gohan's married! Besides, there's... something else.
Melody's voice drops to a whisper as she glances back at the restaurant.
Melody: *She twirls a strand of hair nervously.* When I touched Goten, Goku's youngest... there was this weird sensation. Like... a spark or something.
Snow: A spark? *Her voice grows serious.* Melody, be careful. Your powers are still developing.
Melody: *She sighs heavily.* But what does it mean? And mom...please tell me that you and Goku aren't related?
Snow: *There's a long pause.* Sweety, it's... complicated. Goku and I have a history but not in the way you're thinking.

Goten: *He looks at her.* Hey! We're about to start a game of charades. You in?
Melody: *She nearly drops her phone.* I... uhm... Mom, I gotta go. We'll talk later, okay?
Snow: *Her voice rises slightly.* Melody, wait! There's more you need to know....
Melody ends the call, her mind racing with questions as she follows Goten inside their home.
Goten: *He glances at her as they walked.* Everything okay? You look like you've seen a ghost.
Melody: *She shakes her head.* Just... family stuff. So, charades, huh? I hope you're ready to lose!
Goku: *He jumps up as they entered.* Alright, teams! Melody you're with me and Goten. Let's show 'em how it's done!
