Hagrid looked incredulously at Norbert, who was acting coquettishly in Audrey's arms.
"It's a girl?"
"Yes," Audrey laughed. "Perhaps calling her Norberta would be more suitable."
"Oh, heavens, I really am too muddled\!" Hagrid slapped his own head hard, not knowing his own strength, making himself dizzy and his head buzz.
"Hagrid, you just don't have experience," Audrey put Norberta on the ground. The little one wailed and pounced on her again, asking for a hug. "By the way, you said you needed my help. What help?"
Hagrid shook his head vigorously to get his brain working again.
He looked at Norberta with some reluctance and said:
"Draco Malfoy found out about me raising this little cutie. That bad seed\! He'll definitely inform on me. Ron asked his brother Charlie to adopt Norbert... Norberta. Oh, his brother works at a dragon reserve... Besides, Norberta is growing too fast; my place won't be able to hold her soon\!"
Hagrid spoke in fragments, as if that slap to his head was still taking effect.
"In a week, Charlie will take Norberta from the tallest tower at Hogwarts. I'm worried Harry and the others won't be able to calm Norberta down. If they get caught by that old useless Filch, it won't be good\!"
Audrey held down Norberta, who wanted kisses, and was a bit surprised. "You mean, you want me to escort Norberta with Harry and the others?"
"Yes, yes. Can you help? Good girl?"
Audrey suddenly laughed. Norberta didn't know why she was laughing, but she also grinned and squawked twice, spitting out a few sparks.
"Hagrid," Audrey said. "First, Malfoy won't be a problem; I'll handle him for you. Second, I have a way to settle Norberta right here in Hogwarts. This way, you can see Norberta anytime, anywhere."
"R-really?"
Hagrid originally just wanted Audrey to help a little, but who knew things would develop so surprisingly well.
"Of course." Audrey extended her hand, and the space in front of her palm distorted. With a rip sound, a suitcase appeared in her hand. "This is Norberta's new home\!"
"Oh, Audrey, your magical skills are impressive\!"
"It's nothing, Hagrid," Audrey smiled faintly. "Just a combination of the Summoning Charm and Apparition."
Opening the suitcase, Audrey hugged Norberta and jumped in first. "Hagrid," she poked her head out again, "follow me\!"
Hagrid was somewhat at a loss. "Audrey, you know, I might not be that slim. This suitcase doesn't look big; maybe I..."
"Belt Accio\!"
Audrey reached out her hand, and Hagrid was dragged into the suitcase by the belt at his waist, yelling "Wah wah\!"
In a sense, Hagrid and Norberta were two peas in a pod because they both wailed.
The space inside the suitcase was as large as six or seven football fields. A giant airplane and four tanks were stored here.
Audrey waved her hand casually, and the tanks and airplane were moved to a corner of the space.
"Audrey, what are these?"
"Oh, just Muggle vehicles."
"Those iron lumps must be very heavy, yet you moved them so easily\! Merlin's beard\! Your magical power is too strong; you are one of the strongest people I've ever seen,"
Hagrid exclaimed. "Dumbledore said that young wizards who enroll at sixteen will achieve great things. I think he's right\!"
Audrey let Hagrid talk to himself and bent down to put Norberta on the ground.
"Norwegian Ridgebacks mostly live on seaside cliffs..." Audrey rested her chin on her hand and thought for a moment. "So she needs a seaside climate\!"
Audrey cast a meteorological charm. A damp sea breeze immediately blew in a corner of the space, and dark clouds gathered above, looking ready to rain at any moment.
"Norberta, make do with this for now. I'll get you some seawater and giant rocks later," Audrey turned her head. "Norberta?"
She saw Norberta scampering joyfully, pitter-patter, running to the T-80 tank and quacking happily.
"Oh, Norberta, little darling," Hagrid grinned. "You like this big guy, don't you?"
Norberta wanted to jump onto the tank, but being young and weak, she slammed her head against the tracks with a loud clang.
Hagrid laughed loudly and lifted Norberta onto the tank. Usually, when Hagrid held her, she would bare her teeth and spit fire, but this time she was unusually quiet, which made Hagrid even happier.
"What a good girl\!"
Audrey rubbed her forehead and waved her hand, letting the tank fly with Norberta under the dark clouds.
Hagrid looked up, giggling foolishly as he chased the flying tank all the way, his several-hundred-pound body bounding happily.
He really loved Norberta too much\!
Putting down the tank and looking at Norberta, who was lying on it and not planning to move, Audrey was completely speechless.
Does having 'Berta' (Beta) in the name mean one must drive a tank?
Vegeta doesn't drive a tank, does he?
...
"Cousin, what do you need me for?"
On a sofa in the corner of the Slytherin common room, after Audrey rejected the seventh little snake who invited her to play chess, Draco Malfoy ran up to her, panting.
"I heard you are going to report Rubeus Hagrid for secretly raising a dragon?"
"Ah, that," Draco raised his head with a bit of pride. "I like dragons, so I won't report them for secretly raising one; but I just want to make Potter and his friends suffer. Watch, they won't be able to stand the pressure I'm putting on them soon. When the time comes, they will definitely make a move, and then I can catch them red-handed."
Heh, little cousin is using his brain.
"Drop this matter."
"Huh? Why?"
"Because that dragon is now my pet."
Draco: \!\!\!\!
"Cousin," Draco's eyes were full of stars as he asked excitedly, "Can I see that dragon?"
"You're too loud\!"
Audrey frowned in dissatisfaction. "If others find out my true identity, believe it or not, I'll kill you?"
Draco shrank his neck. How could he not believe it? He believed it too much\!
Hydrus Lestrange's battle record was glorious; she dared to kill people in broad daylight in Knockturn Alley\!
He was blinded by her identity as a singer and actually thought she was easy to talk to? What the hell\!
But the fear only lasted a few seconds. "Then about the little dragon?"
"Follow me."
Pansy Parkinson watched Draco follow Audrey into the girls' dormitory and angrily tore the essay she had half-written in two.
That vixen\! She is fully four years older than Draco\! How could she bring herself to do it\!
Pansy stood up and decisively followed.
"Pansy, what's wrong?" Daphne Greengrass asked in confusion from the side.
"Nothing\!" Pansy stormed toward the dormitory. "Daphne, help me pack my things\!"
Daphne's eyes dimmed. Their Greengrass family had fallen.
...
It was Draco's first time entering the girls' dormitory. He looked around curiously. "This isn't any different from the boys' dormitory\!"
Boys couldn't enter the girls' dormitory without an invitation from a girl; but girls could enter and leave the boys' dormitory at will.
Opening the room door revealed chaos. Only after passing through three or four magical barriers did Draco see the true face of Audrey's dormitory—
There were Galleons, gold artifacts, and antiques everywhere in the room. Audrey's large bed was almost submerged in gold.
To describe it in one sentence: this dormitory looked like a Gringotts vault.
Father said in his letter that Audrey was the richest among wizards, and now it seemed to be true\!
"Cousin," there were no outsiders here, so Draco could finally call her openly. "Didn't you say you were going to show me the little dragon?"
Audrey opened that suitcase and jumped in.
"Come in, let me show you something big."
