Mahi's POV
When I turned back I witnessed Rohit which a same exact flowers given by Roohi as he gave it to me he said " you should be more careful now you got a promotion you deserved and that comes with a lot of work" he said sarcastically. " Haha chintu very funny " I use the same exact sarcasting tone as him.." My biggest mistake was to tell my childhood name to you I still regret you know. He said with his strangely enough smile that can make you laugh out loud. I noticed that Nikil was there looking at us the whole time that's why I moved close to Rohit I'm pretended as I liked him touching his shoulder whenever it's a chance it was pretty very good to mess around him why does he need to spy over every person I speak to.
After talking with Rohit about that he is going to be in my team we went up to Priyan 's office and that time Nikil was engaged in a deep conversation and that time I noticed that he was not the same he has changed like after 5years.
The once-skinny boy who used to carry his schoolbag loosely over one shoulder now stood tall and composed. His shoulders had broadened with strength and discipline, and his posture spoke of confidence rather than uncertainty. The playful roundness of his face had sharpened into defined features, with a clean jawline that revealed how much he had grown. His hands—once small and fidgeting—now looked strong and steady, the hands of someone who had learned to work hard and take responsibility. Even his walk had changed; there was a calm determination in every step, the quiet assurance of a man who knew where he was headed. Five years had not just changed his appearance—they has shaped him into a person I did recognize but I refuse to admit that I recognize him ..
When the announcement went by I was shocked that I have to work with him it was something like somebody has told me to give up on my career I worked on this hard this was sick and when I looked over at him he was feeling the same thing I was and that killed me inside why does he feel the same I do I don't want to work with him as well.
I don't know what's God is playing with but the last person I ever want in my life is never him. Priyan then told us : "Mahi,Roohi , Rohit,Sumit and Nikhil." Now you guys are going to handle the " Jheelnagar Hit And run Case" . Then I said " That case that happened last week ?" In which the 2 young boys have killed a family and then called the police but refused to admit?" Priyan said " Yes The driver boy's father want us to prove Mukul Mehra and Dev Kumar innocent.
It's pretty hard but still I count on you guys and come to Rohini 's office you will find the material there and study about it .
So, Mahi and Nikhil please help out ..
"Not my craziest dream I want this guy around me I don't want to help him". My inner thought still I have to force a smile and help him .
