In a dark and turbulent sky, the laughter of Ichidna echoed:
"Did you really think it would have this kind of speed and power, right, big sister?"
Tartarus, pressing her hand tightly over her lost eye, groaned from the heavy bleeding.
With labored breaths, she said:
"Healing magic…"
But no matter how hard she tried, her eye wouldn't heal.
Ichidna spoke in a heavy, cunning voice:
"This is the end of the line, sister! You're nothing against me and the Lord of Wasps. Surrender… I promise your death will be painless."
Tartarus, trembling with rage, clenched her teeth and screamed inwardly:
"Lord Hades… please… lend me a portion of your power… I swear this time I will make you proud…"
The cold, merciless voice of Hades echoed in her mind:
"I'll give you power again, but this is the last time. If you fail once more, this power will spread through your body like poison and kill you…"
Black power erupted from deep within Tartarus. Her lost eye regenerated, her strength increased tenfold, and both earth and sky trembled.
Ichidna shouted in terror, eyes wide:
"How is this possible?! You filthy bastard! Lord of Wasps… destroy her right now!"
The King of Wasps dove toward Tartarus with a demonic roar…
But Tartarus only whispered calmly:
"Stop."
And unbelievably, the wasp froze mid-flight!
Tartarus slowly spread her arms, the power of Hades swirling around her and…
The King of Wasps was sliced clean in half!
The air shattered, the wasp's body vanished in a blaze of black and white magic…
And now only two goddesses remained—filled with rage, power… and unfinished vengeance.
The Fall of the Queen, Warning from the Heavens:
Ichidna's eyes widened in disbelief, her voice trembling:
"This… impossible… that was one of the Kings of Hell…!"
With heavy breathing, right in front of her, Tartarus stood.
Emotionless.
Cold-blooded.
Her eyes more ruthless than ever.
Ichidna screamed with all her might:
"Black Fire Magic, Special Grade!"
A massive ball of dark flame shot toward Tartarus… but she uttered only one word:
"Extinguish."
And in that instant, the colossal fire went out… like a match flame under rain.
Ichidna staggered back in disbelief:
"This… this is impossible…"
But suddenly Tartarus appeared right in front of her face.
Her expression cold, her voice merciless:
"So now… who has the greater power… little sister?"
She gently placed her hand on the queen's head.
The queen screamed:
"Get away from me, you filth! Forbidden Magic… Teleport!"
But Tartarus spoke in the same moment:
"Nullify."
The spell shattered…
And in the next instant, Tartarus's blade severed Ichidna's head from her body.
Her lifeless corpse fell silently to the ground seconds later…
Meanwhile…
Yagami was still relentlessly hurling black blades at Kurojin. Consecutive explosions and dust covered the entire city.
But suddenly, an angel descended from the sky.
With a heavy voice, it declared:
"One-Eyed God!"
Yagami turned his head…
The angel threw the severed head of the Demon Queen down from the sky.
The head landed powerfully in Yagami's hands.
And Yagami… simply stared at it with cold eyes.
The Fall of the One-Eyed God?
Yagami looked at Ichidna's severed head in his hands in utter disbelief.
His eyes trembled, his breathing grew heavy.
Shock… and deep within it, rage.
He clenched his teeth so hard that his lip split and blood poured from his mouth.
Suddenly…
A sword pierced straight through his heart.
A lightning-fast strike, directly from behind…
It was Kurojin.
Kurojin twisted the sword inside Yagami's body.
A gush of blood burst from Yagami's mouth.
Then he pulled the blade out, and Yagami collapsed face-first to the ground like a felled tree…
Kurojin stood beside the body, panting heavily.
Blood dripped from his own mouth too.
Kurojin said in a hoarse voice:
"After a century… this is only the second time I've been wounded in a fight…"
At that moment, Tartarus descended and said:
"Hurry… take the body. We need to bring it to the Master."
Yagami was still alive… his eyes half-open, vision blurred.
But in that darkness… he heard a familiar voice…
Shinkuro:
"If you want to take him… you'll have to step over our corpses first."
In front of Tartarus and Kurojin…
The leaders of all the guilds stood in formation.
Shinkuro, commander of the God Slayers, Sky Mages, Soldiers of Darkness…
All of them were there.
Standing beside Yagami's body.
Yagami, fallen on the ground, eyes half-open and blurry… but he saw the scene:
Dozens of the strongest warriors fell one by one.
Just with a single gesture from Tartarus… a single sentence:
"Scatter, insignificant insects."
Bodies burned, broken, crushed…
Screams, smoke, dust, and blood filled the air.
A few were still standing… but it was clear they wouldn't last long.
With his last ounce of strength, Yagami gritted his teeth…
He whispered:
"No… it's not over yet… I'm still… here…"
His finger trembled. His gaze fell on the ring he had taken from the Goblin Labyrinth. The ring was cracked and no longer working.
Yagami gave a bitter smile, hugged the Demon Queen's head, and said softly:
"Satan, do you hear me?"
Satan replied: "Yes, my lord."
Yagami spoke with a voice full of rage and pain:
"Release all your power."
Satan hesitated:
"But my lord… you are wounded. If I release all my power, your body might not withstand it."
Yagami answered with blazing eyes:
"As long as I haven't avenged Ichidna and my brother, death will not come for me."
Satan fell silent, then said:
"As you command."
A pure, dark aura burst forth from him.
The ground beneath Yagami cracked…
His heart began beating again.
Kurojin spun around in horror and said: "This is impossible!"
Tartarus narrowed her eyes.
"He's… regenerating again? No… this isn't regeneration… this is… an awakening."
Yagami's aura began to swallow the entire battlefield.
The sound of his footsteps… was heard once more.
Yagami rose.
His clothes torn and blood-soaked… but standing.
His eyes glowed… with a light darker than night.
And he said:
"Now it's my turn…"
In an instant, immense power surged into Yagami. Dark energy coiled around him, his voice became deep and terrifying. With a swift, incomprehensible movement, right before everyone's eyes, he severed Tartarus's head from her body. Yagami whispered:
"Hellfire, Special Grade."
A tremendous energy devoured Tartarus's body, leaving nothing behind.
Yagami raised his sword:
"Skill Evolution: Black Blade, Hellfire!"
A dark, fiery blade was unleashed toward Kurojin—so massive there was no escape. Kurojin slammed his sword into the ground, took a deep breath, and said quietly:
"This is the end of the road… goodbye, Marco… Aileen."
The blade struck true, the earth shook, and even the great mountain behind Kurojin split open. The scene froze for a moment… and then silence fell over everything.
After the ferocious battle, Yagami, having exhausted all his power, lost consciousness and his body began to fall toward the ground. At the very last moment, Shinkuro rushed forward with blinding speed and caught him in mid-air. Gently laying him on the ground, he shouted loudly:
"Does anyone here have healing magic?! Hurry!"
An S-rank mage stepped forward and said:
"Move aside, boss. Let me try. High-grade Healing Magic!"
But just like before, nothing happened. Yagami's wounds remained open. Shinkuro asked anxiously:
"Why isn't it working?!"
The mage said in shock:
"I don't know… it should have worked."
Suddenly, from the dark energy swirling around Yagami, Satan emerged. He stepped out from Yagami's chest, surrounded by a terrifying aura. Without a word, he placed his hand on Yagami's wounds. In an instant, the wounds completely vanished.
Shinkuro and the healing mage were stunned at the sight of Satan with his curved horns and demonic tail. They could barely breathe.
Satan said seriously:
"The master must rest. Take him quickly to one of the secure rooms in the building."
