The survivors calmly recuperate as the zombies are now frozen in their movements.
"Looks like the drone only stunned them" Robotica says as he inspects a particularly tall zombie
"if you can move remove the limbssss of as many zombiessss as possssible" Titana replys as they start chopping off limbs of the beasts that we're close to killing them.
Whilst all this happens Robotica is working on his drone looking at its circuits.
"Fuck me it's fried" he says with a sigh as he starts toying with some wires.
"Then why are you still working on it" says the survivor who lost an arm and is currently tying up his wound.
"There's meant to be a settlement nearby and I'm using this as a flare to show them where we are so expect help or death"
Everyone agrees with the plan and Robotica sets off his drone as a flare showing off their location to everyone capable of seeing it.
"Now we wait" Robotica says as he sits on a peice of rubble.
"May I assssk a quesssstion Robotica?" Titana asks shyly.
"Shoot bud" they reply with a warm smile.
"How did you know Ssssstaminatrix"
"We were on the same hero team"
"Do you know if anyone elsssse from your team issss alive?"
"So far I'm alive, Staminatrix is dead, and the mighty Björn is a zombie. Everyone else is unaccounted for" Robotica says with an eerie calmness.
After that Titana went to help care deal with the immobilised undead.
"Alright we need a role-call and if anyone has a power even minor useless ones then tell us." Robotica says with a sigh as he looks around the group. The warrior who lost an arm speaks up first "names Jole but everyone calls me Jesus because I can turn water to wine"
The group chuckles and one of the over warriors throws him a water bottle to test it and miraculously it works.
"Is that all you can do"
"Yep just water to wine"
"How about you darling" Titana asks the child he saved.
"My names Suzie and I have no powers" They reply with a heartwarming smile despite the depressing situation.
"That's leaves you two" Robotica says pointing to the two warriors who are looking out over the zombies.
"I'm James no power"
"I'm Izzi no power"
They reply calmly as they continue looking for any signs of life.
"You all know me and Robotica sssso there'ssss no point in introducing oursssselvessss" Titana say with a smile as they coil around a stone pillar.
The group spends the next half hour sharing stories of their lives before the hellish apocalypse before the zombies start to regain motion allowing them to start attacking our small group of survivors.
James and Izzi start fighting in unison easily defeating a group of zombies. Robotica starts incinerating zombies with one of his custom weapons from the back with Suzie and Jole. Off to the side Titana starts slicing up the zombies with his fangs whilst crushing overs with his tail.
We'll start the action with James and Izzi in their attempts to defeat the new onslaught. The first zombies to get near are met with James's custom weapon a machete that emits pure thermal energy up to 500°c. He uses this with a smirk as he slices through the undead like their made of butter. On the other end of things Izzi is using a military grade ak with plasma bullets to shot through the zombies causing them to instantly slow and later fall fully immobile.
As they continue their attacks a sudden shot of ice flies through the zombies and barely misses Izzi.
"WE'VE GOT A SUPER OVER HERE" they shout in warning but it seems as if everyone has got their own problems.
"Guess we gotta take them out on our own" James replys as he takes out his second machete and swings them through zombies perfectly beheading two at once.
Izzi quickly catches on and starts shooting through the undead with a smirk clearing a path for the super which is revealed to be "Ice" a member of the young hero groups known as the "elements of fate". The two warriors grin as the see the half frozen zombie gliding towards them on an ice track made of his powers.
"Finally a real fight" they say in unison as James full releases his machetes melting all the ice and running towards the zombie whilst Izzi backs him up with shots aiming for weak points that melt through the ice. Once James reaches Ice he goes in for the kill only to be ambushed from underground as another member of the zombified team shoots out of the ground and bites his lower calf.
"SHIT EARTH IS ALSO ZOMBIFIED" he screams as he continues his swing beheading Ice in a quick motion defeating the first of the super zombies before stabbing his machetes into Earth's head and succumbing to the virus by falling to the ground and slowly turning.
"JAMES NOOO" Izzi screams in shock as she starts mowing through the zombies with her ak starting with Earth who is reduced to just feet and the burning machetes while tears start to blind her vision.
"That's two of the elements out of I think seven" Robotica says as he continues shooting zombies with his futuristic weapons whilst watching Izzi go berserk at the loss of James.
"Who's left then?" Jole asks as he looks around.
"Fire, Air, Light, Darkness, and Plasma" Robotica says with a flat tone as they sense the next of their enemies behind them.
Both Robotica and Jole shoot to their feet and look to see Light and Darkness in zombified states drooling st the sight of the human survivors and the scent of Jole's blood.
"You want a weapon" Robotica asks with a flat tone as he takes a miniature cannon off of his belt and aims it at their enemies.
"Pass me a one handed weapon" He replies with a smirk as Robotica throws him a rifle.
The two charge at the same time as the zombies with a raging intent to live on and save little Suzie. Jole starts firing his rifle at Light and to no one's suprise it does nothing to them.Whilst Jole starts working on the settings to try and activate a stronger power Darkness starts his assault on Robotica by launching shadow crows at him which he dodges by running up a wall and jumping off the roof to land behind Darkness in which he shot the miniature cannon sending a beam of pure energy through Darkness going at least 50 metres far and taking out the zombies left arm and a chunk of its chest.
Surprisingly the beast keeps moving through the damage and shoots two more shadow crows at Robotica which he ducks under to be met with a third shadow bird to the chest which sends him flying back into the wall. Upon impact blood splatters from his mouth as his vision blurs for a few seconds as a barrage of more shadow creatures crash into him.
Whilst all this is happening Jole is locked in battle with Light when a stray bolt of fire shoots past him and hits lights skull burning through his defense. Jole jumps into action and starts shooting at the exposed weak spot with acidic bullets that melt through the zombies body and fall down into its organs causing a blood curdling screech before it falls to the ground and melts into a puddle of blood organs and rotten flesh.
Back to Robotica the screech from Light knocks him back to his senses allowing him to fire one more shot from his cannon this time hitting Darkness in the head disintegrating it leaving half a torso and legs as his body falls to the ground.
On the final front of defense there stands alone Titana as he sees two more of the zombified hero team. These ones being Air and Fire.
"Sssso you're my opponent'ssss for today" he says as his arms seemingly merge with his chest as the scales of his tail grow onto the rest of his body and he grows exponentially larger. After his transformation he thwarts the entire battlefield and crushes a few zombies just by moving as he slithers closer to the undead heroes.
Flame starts hurling fire in his direction but mostly misses as one hits Light just at the right time for Jole to continue his assault. Meanwhile Air trys to fly up to Titana's transformed head only to get bit causing their upper body to be destroyed and their lower body to fall to the ground where its destroyed. After Air gets easily destroyed Flame attempts to burn past Titana's scales to no avail.
Titana takes pity on them and simply flatten them with his tail before transforming back to their normal form and slithering back to the others now the assault is seemingly over.
