Chapter 1 - Echoes of Stone

Chapter 1 – The Fall Through Time

The sky cracked open like glass.

One moment, Nava was sitting in his room—headphones on, scrolling through his phone, half-listening to a history video about early human civilization. The next, his world turned white. A roar, like a thousand storms colliding, swallowed everything.

When Nava opened his eyes, the world was… wrong.

He lay on rough ground, surrounded by towering trees that looked ancient—untouched by any axe or city. The air was thick with the scent of soil and rain. Birds he had never seen before screeched from above. His phone was dead, and the faint smell of smoke from his fried charger made him realize—whatever happened, it wasn't a dream.

"Hello?" he shouted.

His voice echoed through the forest. No reply—only the rustle of leaves and distant growls. Then he saw it: footprints. Huge, wide, and barefoot. Not human—at least not modern human.

Fear crept in. He followed a stream downhill until he reached an open clearing. There were huts made of mud and leaves. Smoke rose from a fire pit. And near it, people—barefoot, dressed in animal skins—were carving stones into weapons.

The Stone Age.

Nava blinked hard. "No way…"

He stumbled forward, clutching his backpack like a lifeline. One of the tribesmen spotted him and shouted in a language he didn't understand. Within seconds, spears pointed at his chest.

"Wait! I'm not your enemy!" Nava yelled, raising his hands.

But his strange clothes, glowing wristwatch, and shiny metal zipper made him look like something from another world. The tribesmen surrounded him, whispering in confusion.

A young woman stepped forward—her eyes sharp, her hand gripping a spear taller than herself. She looked at him, curious but cautious.

"Who… you?" she asked in broken words.

Nava swallowed hard. "I'm… Nava. I'm from the future."

She didn't understand—but something in her expression softened. She pointed toward the horizon, where smoke rose from a distant mountain.

"God of fire… angry," she said. "You come… when sky break."

Nava looked at the mountain, realization dawning. Maybe he hadn't just fallen through time—maybe something else had pulled him here.

And somehow, that "God of fire" might be the key to going back.

He took a deep breath. The journey had just begun.
