Chapter 7 - Triad Strike

Night had fallen completely. The hybrid pressed against Seiko's barrier, its violet eyes glowing like burning coals. Every strike it threw distorted the warded perimeter, sending shockwaves through the yard.

Kial stepped forward, fists flaring with golden chi. "It's testing us… but this ends now!"

Momo floated into position, psychic energy coiling around her like a halo. "We coordinate. I'll hold it, you two hit together."

Okarun adjusted his glasses, a grin forming despite the tension. "Let's see if we can actually synchronize."

Momo extended her psychic arms, catching the hybrid's claws mid-strike. "Hold it still!" she shouted.

Kial's chi surged as he dashed forward, Turbo‑charged reflexes allowing him to dodge debris and stray attacks. He slammed his fist into the hybrid's chest, energy radiating outward in golden shockwaves.

The hybrid staggered, momentarily pinned by Momo's telekinesis. Her hands pulsed. "Now, Okarun!"

Okarun vanished in a blur — Turbo Granny fully activated. He launched from wall to wall, each footfall leaving afterimages, hammering the hybrid with high-speed punches. No energy blasts, just pure, precise, brutal physical force.

The hybrid swung its limbs, but the combination of Momo's telekinesis and Kial's chi waves created openings, allowing Okarun to land blow after blow. Each strike shook the hybrid's body, but it remained terrifyingly resilient.

Momo's psychic grip tightened, spinning the hybrid in midair like a ragdoll. Kial crouched, gathering chi into both fists — bright, concentrated, almost molten in appearance.

Okarun leapt into the air, spinning at supersonic speed. Turbo Granny afterimages blurred into dozens of him as he aligned perfectly with Kial's chi punch.

"NOW!" Momo shouted.

Kial slammed his fists forward, releasing a massive chi wave. Okarun crashed into the hybrid at the exact moment, Turbo Granny speed amplifying the impact. Momo's psychic energy funneled through the creature, destabilizing its body and aura.

The combined force sent the hybrid flying back into the barrier, shattering debris around it. Sparks, violet energy, and golden chi collided in a dazzling explosion of light.

The hybrid screeched, writhing against Momo's psychic hold and the barrier, unable to move. Its violet eyes flickered — confusion, rage, and fear mixing.

Kial dropped to one knee, breathing hard, golden chi flickering faintly. "Is… is it… down?"

Okarun landed beside him, hands on his knees. "For now… yeah." Turbo Granny energy dissipated in a shimmer of golden light.

Momo floated above, hands glowing faintly. "It's contained, but it won't stay weakened forever. That was just the first wave."

Seiko Ayase stepped forward, bat in hand. "Good work. You three are learning to coordinate — exactly what you'll need. But the main threat is still out there. That hybrid was a scout. Its master is coming."

Kial's eyes narrowed, fists clenching. "Then we'll be ready. Whatever comes next, we strike together."

Momo's hair swayed, psychic aura humming. "Together."

Okarun adjusted his glasses, smirking despite exhaustion. "Triad Strike… sounds about right."

Outside, the city remained calm for now — but the distant rumble of something much larger echoed in the night. A storm was coming, and the next battle would test every ounce of chi, psychic power, and Turbo Granny speed they had.
