"I see…" Yi Chen replied while staring at the eye's sketch that had started to feel more and more disturbing with each passing second.
Turning to the next set of pages, which were filled entirely with characters, he finally finished browsing through all the sheets of paper that were present.
"How about it? Were you able to figure anything out?" Feng Haoran asked with amusement in his voice.
"Well, it appears I'm not as special as I thought I was in the end…" Yi Chen said while feigning an embarrassed expression.
"Haha, there's no need to be embarrassed about something like this. Maybe these writings don't mean anything in the end, and we've all been speculating all these years for nothing." Feng Haoran gently patted Yi Chen on the back and said, "Now, let's go and check the other treasure artefacts then. Our main motive for coming here is yet to be completed."
