Mei was both shy and overjoyed. She understood what Otis meant. Even though she felt that if Otis lost control right now she could accept it, she still wanted to be properly prepared, just like before. Doing it so casually, thinking about it, didn't feel romantic enough. It was frustrating, so contradictory. Otis lifted her face with his left hand.
