The blaring alarm echoed across the desert as the massive metal blast doors slowly began to close.
Xiao Han's expression remained cold and emotionless. He placed one hand on the ground.
Boom!
An invisible force ripped through the dunes, lifting the entire sea of sand into the air and exposing the underground base beneath the desert.
The metallic dome twisted and buckled under the pressure. The shrill alarm quickly gave way to the ear-piercing screech of tearing steel.
Wanda's crimson energy condensed into an enormous scarlet blade.
"Do we leave anyone alive?"
"No need," Xiao Han replied icily.
He raised a hand, unleashing a solar-flare-level energy blast straight into the heart of the base.
A blinding white light engulfed everything as the underground facility began collapsing.
The surviving Skrulls poured out from every exit, screaming in terror. Their green skin stood out vividly beneath the blazing sun.
Some still wore human disguises, while others had already reverted to their true forms.
Wanda's Chaos Magic surged forward, sweeping across the battlefield and dragging every fleeing Skrull into a raging crimson storm.
Their bodies twisted violently in midair before disintegrating into ashes.
Hovering high above, Xiao Han methodically swept the area with his Heat Vision, eliminating every last survivor.
At this moment, he resembled an executioner delivering the final judgment.
Barely ten minutes later, the entire base had been reduced to ruins.
The tremendous heat had melted the surrounding sand into sheets of glass-like crystal that sparkled brilliantly under the sunlight.
Wanda landed beside Xiao Han, her breathing slightly uneven.
"Is it over?"
Using his Super Hearing, Xiao Han scanned hundreds of kilometers in every direction.
"The main stronghold is gone, but there are definitely scattered survivors."
His Super Vision immediately began searching.
Moments later, he found one.
Cairo, Egypt.
Less than fifty kilometers away.
"It looks like we're not done yet."
He opened another portal.
Looking at the devastated desert behind them, Wanda suddenly asked,
"If they were really just refugees... was what we did right?"
Xiao Han paused for a moment.
Turning around, he looked into Wanda's eyes. His golden pupils were unwavering.
"The moment they chose to infiltrate Earth's governments, they stopped being refugees."
He gently brushed a strand of her crimson hair aside, his voice softening.
"There's no reason to feel guilty about protecting your home."
Wanda took a deep breath as Chaos Magic once again danced across her fingertips.
"Who's next?"
Stepping into the portal, Xiao Han answered,
"Someone pretending to be the President of Egypt."
Their figures disappeared into a shower of golden sparks, leaving behind only the collapsing ruins of the desert base and the distant shimmer of a mirage.
Passing through the portal, Xiao Han and Wanda instantly appeared above the Egyptian Presidential Palace in Cairo.
The blazing sun scorched the ancient city while the Nile reflected dazzling light beneath them.
The palace was heavily guarded.
But Xiao Han's Super Vision pierced effortlessly through every wall.
He immediately locked onto his target—
The Skrull disguised as the President of Egypt.
"He's in the conference room," Xiao Han said quietly, golden light flickering in his eyes. "There are several bodyguards with him."
Scarlet energy flowed around Wanda's fingertips.
"We're charging in?"
"No."
Xiao Han shook his head.
"This time, we'll do things differently."
He casually waved a hand.
The Mirror Dimension instantly unfolded.
Reality shattered like glass as the entire presidential palace was dragged into the bizarre, kaleidoscopic world of reflections.
Buildings twisted and folded upon themselves.
Walls flowed like liquid.
Outside, however, no one noticed anything unusual.
Inside the palace, the guards stared in horror at the suddenly distorted surroundings.
Some even dropped to their knees and began praying.
The conference room doors slowly opened on their own.
Xiao Han and Wanda calmly walked inside.
"Mr. President."
Xiao Han's voice was cold and steady.
"Your little masquerade is over."
The Skrull abruptly stood up.
His green skin flickered beneath his human disguise as panic spread across his face.
Forcing himself to remain calm, he shouted in the Egyptian president's voice,
"Who are you?! Guards! Arrest them!"
But before the bodyguards could move, Wanda's Chaos Magic wrapped around them, immobilizing every single one.
"No more acting."
Xiao Han walked forward one step at a time, golden light blazing from his eyes.
"I know exactly who you are."
Unable to maintain the disguise any longer, the Skrull's human appearance rapidly dissolved, revealing his true green-skinned form.
Grinding his teeth, he roared,
"You humans don't understand! We just wanted a home!"
"You can want a home."
Xiao Han's voice contained no warmth whatsoever.
"But deception and infiltration were never the way to get one."
Suddenly, the Skrull pulled a strange device from his clothes and laughed viciously.
"Then we'll die together!"
Bzzzzz!
A blinding pulse of energy erupted, shaking the entire Mirror Dimension.
Xiao Han instantly expanded his Bio-Force Field, shielding Wanda behind him.
But it wasn't a bomb.
It was a teleportation beacon.
BOOM!
A massive spatial rift tore open above the presidential palace.
The cannon of a gigantic Skrull warship slowly emerged from the crack, aiming directly at Xiao Han and Wanda.
"This is bad!"
Wanda cried out.
"They've got reinforcements!"
A cold glint flashed across Xiao Han's eyes.
"They're asking to die."
Blazing Heat Vision erupted from his eyes like two golden blades, instantly piercing through the warship's armor.
Explosions tore through the Mirror Dimension.
Without pausing for even a second, Xiao Han grabbed the ship's hull with both hands.
Then he pulled.
CRACK!
The enormous warship was ripped cleanly in half.
The shattered wreckage tumbled through the Mirror Dimension, breaking apart into twisted fragments of burning metal.
Wanda didn't remain idle either.
Her crimson energy transformed into countless razor-sharp blades, pinning every fleeing Skrull firmly to the ground.
The battle ended almost as quickly as it had begun.
Landing beside Wanda, Xiao Han looked down at the collapsed Skrull leader.
"Where is your fleet?"
The Skrull gave a miserable laugh.
"You'll never find them..."
Xiao Han didn't bother wasting words.
He immediately activated both Super Hearing and Super Vision.
A few seconds later, he looked up.
A trace of icy killing intent flashed across his eyes.
"Africa."
He spoke quietly.
"They've hidden another fleet in a small African nation."
Wanda frowned.
"What are they planning?"
"They're not planning it."
Xiao Han looked toward the African continent.
"They've already begun."
"They're preparing for a full-scale invasion of Earth."
Concern flashed through Wanda's eyes.
"We have to stop them."
"Of course."
With a wave of his hand, Xiao Han opened another massive portal.
Beyond it stretched the endless African grasslands.
"Let's go."
He stepped through first.
"It's time to end this war."
Taking a deep breath, Wanda wrapped herself in scarlet Chaos Magic and followed closely behind.
The two disappeared into the portal, leaving behind the twisted presidential palace and the utterly defeated Skrulls trapped within the Mirror Dimension.
Meanwhile, across Earth, Tony, Rhodey, Natasha, and the others were using advanced detectors to search for the remaining Skrull infiltrators around the globe.
None of them realized that the true final battle...
...was about to begin on the African plains.
Xiao Han and Wanda emerged from the portal.
The small African town before them was so peaceful that it felt strangely unnatural.
The blazing sun baked the red-earth streets.
Vendors lazily called out while selling fruit in the marketplace.
Children chased one another through the dusty roads.
Everything appeared perfectly ordinary.
But Xiao Han's Super Hearing picked up the whispers hidden beneath the disguises.
"How many people have we placed inside parliament?"
"Seventeen. We'll have control of the finance bill by next week."
"What about the military?"
"We've already replaced two generals. We're infiltrating the special forces now."
The conversations came from people who looked completely ordinary—
Local civilians.
Police officers.
Even an old man selling bottled water on a street corner.
Beneath every one of them flowed green blood.
Noticing the change in Xiao Han's expression, crimson energy began gathering around Wanda's fingertips.
"They're here?"
"They're everywhere."
His voice was ice cold.
Without another word—
His eyes erupted with brilliant golden light.
ZZZZT!!
His Heat Vision swept across the marketplace like the Grim Reaper's scythe.
Several merchants who had been talking only moments before were vaporized before they could even react.
Their green blood didn't even have time to splatter before the intense heat completely evaporated it.
The crowd exploded into chaos.
Terrified screams filled the streets.
The disguised "African civilians" scattered in every direction.
As panic overtook them, the Skrulls instinctively exposed their true forms.
Their skin rapidly turned an unnatural shade of green.
Some abandoned their disguises entirely, transforming as they desperately attempted to flee.
"Wanda."
Xiao Han spoke only her name.
"I know."
Scarlet Chaos Magic spread across the battlefield, accurately wrapping around every transforming Skrull and dragging them into the air.
One Skrull spy disguised as an elderly woman had just drawn a pistol when her entire arm was twisted into a grotesque spiral by Wanda's crimson energy.
Xiao Han slowly rose into the sky.
His Super Vision penetrated every building one after another, locking onto every hidden infiltrator.
