Chapter 72 - Afternoon torture

Giyuu shiver at the touch not expecting the tenderness of his boyfriend. Sanemi notices the shiver and smirks, switching to a more gentle approach.

"Oh? Did you think I'd be rough with you right now? After you were such a good boy earlier?"

He coos mockingly, though his hands remain tender as they work their way up Giyuu's spine.

Giyuu feels a mix of confusion and relief at Sanemi's change in demeanor, his body relaxing even more under the tender care.

"You're so easy to read, Giyuu. Your body betrays your cold exterior every time."

He continues massaging, occasionally leaning down to kiss the back of Giyuu's neck, his voice softer than usual.

"I know you want me to be rough, but not today. Today I'm going to take care of you properly."

He says with a hint of possessiveness, enjoying the rare moment of vulnerability he's drawn out of his usually composed partner. The bell rings, signaling the end of lunch, but Sanemi doesn't stop his massage.

"Stay here for a bit longer. I'll tell the other teachers you're taking a break."

He pulls out his phone and sends a quick text, probably to Obanai or another colleague to cover for them.

"Besides, I'm not done with you yet."

He adds with a mischievous glint in his eyes, his hands resuming their earlier movements. Giyuu nods weakly, too comfortable to protest. He knows he should be getting back to work, but he can't bring himself to move away from Sanemi's skilled hands.

"Good boy. Just let me handle everything."

He whispers as he helps Giyuu lie down on the couch in his office, continuing the massage while keeping an eye on the time. Sanemi watches as Giyuu drifts off, a rare soft smile crossing his face. He covers Giyuu with his own jacket and sits beside him, brushing the dark hair away from his face.

"Sleep well, you stubborn bastard."

He mutters fondly, pulling out his lesson plans for the afternoon.

He decides to let Giyuu rest for an extra 15 minutes before waking him up. The minutes pass, and Sanemi finds himself watching Giyuu's peaceful sleeping face. He resists the urge to kiss him, not wanting to disturb his rest.

"Damn it, why do you have to look so cute when you're not being a pain in my ass?"

He grumbles to himself, fighting back the urge to take a picture of the rare moment.

As the time approaches for their shared club, Sanemi reluctantly shakes Giyuu awake.

"Oi, Giyuu. Wake up. We have to supervise the math and physical education club together."

He keeps his voice low, still protective of Giyuu's rest. Giyuu blinks awake, disoriented for a moment before remembering where he is. He sits up slowly, rubbing his eyes.

"You've got drool on my jacket, by the way."

He points out with a smirk, already standing up and straightening his own clothes.

"Let's go before those kids start making trouble without us there."

Giyuu stands up, looking slightly embarrassed about falling asleep and the drool comment. He hands Sanemi back his jacket.

"Keep it. You can give it back later."

He takes Giyuu's hand, intertwining their fingers as they walk to the club room.

"And don't think I'll let you slack off during the club. I want you to sit and rest while I handle the teaching."

Giyuu tries to protest but Sanemi squeezes his hand firmly, leaving no room for argument.

"Don't argue. You're still recovering. I'll just tell them you're observing their techniques or something."

They arrive at the club room where a group of students are already waiting, some whispering excitedly upon seeing their hands.

The students immediately quiet down, their eyes darting between the two teachers and their joined hands. Sanemi notices their stares and smirks, pulling Giyuu closer to him possessively.

"Alright, brats. Today we're reviewing form and posture. Mr. Tomioka will be assisting from the bench."

He emphasizes the word "assisting" with a knowing look at Giyuu, who tries to maintain his professional demeanor despite the obvious teasing. One brave student raises their hand and asks with a grin.

"Mr. Shinazugawa, is Mr. Tomioka feeling okay? He looks tired."

Sanemi glares at the student, though his grip on Giyuu remains gentle.

"He's fine. Just had a long day. Now start your stretches before I make you run laps instead."

The students scatter to begin their stretches, some still giggling at the situation. Sanemi leads Giyuu to a chair and makes him sit down, standing protectively behind him.

"Don't move from this spot. I'll bring you water in a bit."

He whispers before walking over to supervise the students, occasionally glancing back to check on Giyuu. As Sanemi walks away, the students start practicing their moves. Some are doing it correctly, while others are making silly mistakes just to get his attention.

"Look, I'm doing the wrong form! Mr. Tomioka, can you show me how it's done?"

The student deliberately positions themselves wrong, knowing Giyuu would usually correct them but is being forced to stay seated. Sanemi notices the student's antics and marches over, his expression darkening.

"That's not how you do it. And Mr. Tomioka is resting. If you can't get it right on your own, you're running 10 extra laps."

He turns to the rest of the class with a stern look.

"And if I catch anyone else goofing off, it'll be 20 laps for the whole group."

The students quickly straighten up, intimidated by Sanemi's threat. They resume their exercises properly, stealing glances at Giyuu who remains seated, a small smile playing on his lips at Sanemi's protectiveness.

"That's better. Now let's see some proper kicks."

He demonstrates a powerful kick, his movements fluid and precise.

The students watch in awe, but Sanemi keeps a watchful eye on Giyuu, making sure he's not getting too bored or uncomfortable. Sanemi freezes mid-kick, his eye twitching in irritation as he turns to Giyuu.

"Excuse me? I don't do anything wrong, especially not my kicks."

The students gasp at Giyuu's bold comment, some covering their mouths to hide their laughter. Sanemi stalks over to Giyuu, his voice low and dangerous.

"You're pushing your luck today, Giyuu. Care to elaborate on how I'm doing it wrong?"

He stands in front of Giyuu, arms crossed and towering over him, waiting for an explanation while the class holds its breath. Giyuu looks up at Sanemi with his usual deadpan expression, though there's a hint of mischief in his eyes.

"Your form is too aggressive. You're leaving your left side open. It's sloppy."

The students gasp again, some taking out their phones to record the confrontation between their strict math teacher and the aloof physical education teacher. Sanemi's face turns red with anger and embarrassment, a vein popping on his forehead.

"I'm not sloppy! And I don't need advice from someone who can barely stand up straight!"

He grabs Giyuu's chin, forcing him to look directly into his eyes.

"Show me how it's done then, since you're such an expert."

Giyuu gracefully stands up, ignoring the pain in his back, and demonstrates perfect technique. His movements are precise, fluid, and controlled, completely different from Sanemi's more forceful style.

"Tch... show off."

The students are in awe of Giyuu's skill, whispering among themselves about how cool he looks despite his earlier weakness. Sanemi watches with a mix of annoyance and admiration, his grip on Giyuu's chin loosening slightly.

"Alright, alright. You've made your point. Sit back down before you hurt yourself."

He tries to hide his impressed expression, but the way his eyes follow Giyuu's movements gives him away.
