"So, your knight…" Cagalli looked at the red-haired lady. "She is your knight, right?"
"Indeed, she is," Marcus confirmed.
"As I was saying, your Knight said that you united your whole world?"
"The exact specific word is Conquered." Marcus clarified to her.
"...Conquered… so it is true… damn…" His daughter shook her head. Now that is something she didn't expect.
Ever since she was a child, her father, her adopted father more precisely, tried to push the whole ideology of ORB neutrality about not getting into other people's business and defending the borders and all that nonsense.
It never clicked to her; she felt like they were not using 100% of their talent.
Her country is the only one in the world that still has Coordinators; the rest moved to the PLANTs.
So they, in a sense, have an advantage; they could use their talents to expand ORB territories on Earth, get more land and all that stuff.
Now it made sense why she felt like that. Her real father waged a damn world war to unify the whole planet! From the looks of it, even her grandfather was a conqueror of some sort!
"Indeed, now tell me what you want to do, Cagalli, you are not a little girl, you don't need a babysitter."
*Snort*
"As If! It would be embarrassing!" She puffed for a second, crossing her arms and looking away for a couple of seconds, but then she looked at him.
"Still… I don't know, I need to process all of this. What will you do?"
Marcus leaned back into his chair.
"You do know that I am Emperor, I am a bit of a busy person, and I have been pushing for the expansion of humanity since I took the throne.
I based my entire ideology on humanity's domination of space. As we are right now, humans live on five planets, and I build colonies around Jupiter and Saturn, as well as in orbits around Earth, Mars and Venus."
"...That's a lot… such progress… You did all that…" Cagalli was very surprised; it was far more than she ever expected.
"Indeed, both Mars and Venus are green worlds." He proudly declared that.
"...oh…" The girl's reaction was pure disbelief.
"Indeed. So I wasn't thinking of staying here for long; I came to see mobile suits—one last check before I return to my world and seal the gates for real.
But then it turns out that I left something behind." He looked at her.
"...me…"
"...and your brother…"
"!?"
"...What!? I have a brother!? I mean… a brother from the same mother!?" The girl adjusted mid-sentence.
"Twins, yes." Marcus chuckled at how animated she could be.
"...T-Then where is he?"
"In that big spaceship that launched in Heliopolis."
"...Oh… WAIT!" She snapped and then looked at him.
"He got tangled up in the whole conflict? T-Then… shouldn't you rescue him?" Cagalli asked him.
The Emperor sighed as he was feeling conflicted about it.
"That's the thing. If I go there…" He looked up.
"He has his whole friends there, he would want me to rescue them, maybe even the whole ship. I can already tell he inherited his mother's personality, a bit of a softy and a pacifist. There is no doubt that he would feel guilty if I rescued him, and the ship could get destroyed by ZAFT because he didn't help."
"...T-Then… what will you do?" She ended up sitting down once more.
"He inherited my talents, just like you did."
"...Wait! He is that Brown Head who threw me into the lift! He took my Mobile suit!" All of a sudden, Cagalli got pissed!
"Oh? You wanted a Gundam?" There was a glint in Marcus's eyes. She was indeed his daughter!
"...Gun-dam? Gundam… oh! that has a nice ring to it!" She exclaimed in an excited tone.
"Indeed, they exist in my world. It would seem I influenced this place a bit." Marcus chuckled. He did follow Shamna's idea. To make sure Gundams do exist, his Anaheim Enterprise left some 'ideas' from the looks of it, ORB and Atlantic Federation kept or accepted those ideas.
"I see… then he is piloting one… could we do something? I mean… I don't want just to sit by idly and do nothing." The girl commented as she looked at the table.
"Is that so? Well…" The Emperor tapped the armrest with his finger, thinking of something.
"I still have Anaheim Enterprise." He mentioned that before looking at Jeanne.
"Bring me one of the tablets. We still have a connection with the HQ?"
"...I don't know, we need to check, those Jammer thingies make connection a bit more difficult," Jeanne replied to his question.
"I see, then find out." He instructed his knight.
"...What are you planning to do?" Cagalli asked, a bit hopeful.
"Abuse my influence, I created this company 21 years ago. It has been growing in size and influence. I made sure it was self-sufficient and improved over time.
And now, since you want it, I might as well make Blue Cosmos pay for their survival."
"...Will it help my brother?"
"Kira? We can take over the OMNI Enforcer to some extent. Maybe take over properly." He casually suggested to his daughter.
"...Y-You could do that? Take over Earth Alliance!?" Cagalli gawked, now that's a great idea!
"My dear daughter, doing something like that is child's play.
You do realise that the technology at my disposal is centuries ahead of what this world has." He teased her a bit.
"...Centuries…"
"Precisely, for a normal man, it would look like magic, and that's just transportation. I have had self-aware AI in the systems for years now. It's just that those Jammers made it harder to access them."
"T-Then do it! Those Blue Cosmos… killed my mother… right? We must punish them!" The girl got a bit emotional.
"Since you want it. I can't say no. I suppose I need to catch up for all the missed time." Marcus sighed as he realised that he would cause some chaos in this reality.
"Hehe, you better!"
"As my Princess commands."
~~~~~~In Space~~~~~~
As Marcus was catching up with his daughter, his son had to deal with ZAFT, who wanted him and his Gundam taken.
After the destruction of Heliopolis, the Archangel began a silent run towards Earth Alliance-controlled territory.
But ZAFT, which captured four out of five mobile suits, began to chase the warship with the very same machines.
So a single suit faced four other suits of the same calibre, plus the regular GINNs.
'Why me, damn it!'
Kira complained as he tried to shoot a red mobile suit in front of him. It was a suit piloted by this friend, no less, who joined the damn military!
'Athrun! Why the hell are you in the military!?' The brown-haired teen gnashed his teeth in anger.
Both of them were exchanging shots but not hitting each other on purpose.
But that's the thing, as they were playing around, the other three machines were not!
"Kid! They are targeting the bridge."
Kira snapped out as he looked to the side. He saw a black suit shooting green beams at the side of the bridge.
'My friends!'
At that moment, something inside of him 'snapped'; he could see lightning rushing through clouds, arriving in a field where a purple lotus flower unravelled…
It was like everything was clear; he understood what he needed to do.
What he just achieved is 'seed mode'; it wasn't just any seed mode, but as an Innovator with Inborn Geass, all of his powers awakened at the same time.
'I can see what you can do and what you could possibly do!'
As the red suit tried to shoot, Kira's Strike simply moved its head to the side, making the shot miss by millimetres and then simply shot back.
His friend's suit simply moved into the beam, and his beam rifle exploded upon impact.
'What the hell?' Athrun, in his suit, was speechless at what Kira just did!?
'I will end this fight!'
Kira could see how he would end the fight as he rushed towards Archangel. The black suit tried to counter, but Strike kicked the hand away, and with beam sabers cut up the suit, causing it to run away after losing both limbs.
The remaining two suits tried to attack Strike as well, but the mech predicted their every single attack and attacked before them, making it look as if these suits moved into the path of the beams.
Just like that, Kira won the whole thing.
"Haah—Haah—Haaah, what just happened?" Kira looked at his hand. He saw the future?
He looked at his image in the panels, his eyes… they have lightning and a golden bird for the pupil? What the hell is this?
But at that moment, he felt that he was moving through space, arriving at some strange place… he was not in space anymore? What is going on?
Before he even realised he was standing in an orange and yellow realm… above him was…
'Jupiter?'
Eventually, he looked at the platform before him, and there were stairs leading to another platform, and someone was sitting on one of the stairs.
"Well, well, I am impressed." The man said with a bit of pride.
"...Who…"
"Come now, use those senses you inherited from me. I am sure you can figure out who I am." He said with a smirk that he could see this individual's eyes; they were the same as his.
"..."
"...You are no fun, but let me quote someone from one of the old school movies:
I am your father." The man declared with some fanfare, but it didn't stick with Kira at all…
"..."
Instead… he had questions!
"Why now?"
Why now? He never knew why he never had a father. Especially in the middle of a fight when he has to fight his friend. Especially when the enemy pushed him into a corner and had to pilot a mobile suit in a war that he didn't want to be part of!
"Now? Well, you awakened the powers that you inherited. Because of those, I could meet you through Quantum Brainwaves." He said as he stood up from the stairs and walked over to him.
"I was surprised that I have children, you see, your mother never told me that she was expecting, but then again, she is a bit of a pacifist, never raising her concerns when need be, not even telling me, so I am as annoyed as you are." He said with a resigned sigh.
"...So you never knew?" Kira was surprised, he didn't expect it to be like that!
"No idea, only when I returned, I sensed you and your sister." His father dropped a bombshell on him!
"...S-Sister!?"
"Indeed, you have a sister; she is more like me, while you inherited your mother's side." He said while looking at his hair.
But then he saw her sister's image, which he somehow managed to share and show in this strange place.
"H-Her!?"
"You felt it, didn't you? That's your sister." His father said with a small smile.
"...I see… so what now?" Kira tried to take a deep breath, all of this was damn surprising!
"Well, your sister insists that we help you, though you awakened my powers; there is literally no one who should be able to stop you in this world."
"...What are these powers?" Kira asked, looking at his hand.
"I am originally from an alternative reality where I conquered Earth, in that Earth I found lost civilisation powers called Geass. They are related to the brain, so when I evolved my people, these powers evolved with them.
And from the looks of it, my children can inherit my Geass, something that should not be possible before; this power develops based on an individual's personality.
You inherited the ability to see in the future, but don't get carried away. What you see is more or less what the human mind can perceive, and the human mind can be tricked if you are not careful.
Regardless, we will meet soon, Kira. While you play around with your ZAFT friends, I will play my part since your sister insists that you need help."
With that said, a powerful force yanked Kira back into his cockpit.
"Wait just a second!"
Before he even realised he was in his cockpit!
"Kira? Hey kid! You can return to the ship!"
'What is going on? Is that my father? W-Who is he? Conqueror, what? Lost civilisations!?'
The brown-haired teen frowned. He was confused as hell! He preferred to be simply a coordinator…
But yeah… he could do things coordinators could only dream of…
"Roger, Returning to Archangel."
