I get woken up by my alarm,"Ugh,Why are you soo loud?" I said annoyingly.
Then I have a glance of the clock,"Oh Shit"
I said. I was late again.I rush down the stairs, and start doing my morning routine.
I rush out of my house, with a piece of bread in my mouth. "I'd better hurry up, I don't want to be suspended."
As I was sprinting my way through the hallway, I bump into someone."Sorry about that!", I said while picking my books up.
I got to my class just in time, and got seated.The teacher arrived and said,"Alright class!, Today we have a new student joining us."
"A new student huh, I bet I won't get along with them.", I thought to myself.
The door opens, and as I get a glance of who it was...I realized,"Wait,isn't she the person I bumped into earlier?"
She walks up Infront of everyone and...It seemed as if she was scanning the entire class.As if she was looking for someone or something.
And as she was analysing my column, she reaches to me, and as soon as we make eye contact,she paused...She squinted her eyes.I felt intimidated...
Then she proceeded give her introduction.She said,"My name is Nadia Foster,I have interest in art and sports.I hope on getting along with everyone."
Then the teacher told her to take a seat,"You can get seated beside Robert."
As she was heading to her seat, she started staring at me, her gaze almost felt like a threat.
Everything goes normal after that, until lunch. I normally eat in class because there won't be anyone besides me...but not today.
I whispered to myself,"Why?...out of everyone in my class,why her?"
I tried to eat my lunch avoiding the awkwardness.But after 15 minutes of painful silence,I gathered the courage to talk to her.
I tried to keep it casual so I said,"Soo, which school did you read before-".But before I could finish my question...She got up and left.
I was devastated.The lunch ends, I get ready for my next class and as I was doing that, 'she' comes out of nowhere and says,"I came from 'The Sypher Academy'."
My jaw drops."YOU'RE FROM SYPHER ACADEMY?!?",I exclamed with surprise.Then I asked her,"If you are from Sypher academy, then why did you transfer here? That's a dumb decision, to transfer from an elite academy to here?"
She answered,"I have my own reasons."
"What reasons?", I asked.
"That's non of your business!", She answered a bit aggressively.
After school ended, I pack my bags and start heading home.But on my way, I feel someone behind me, it gave me an uneasy feeling. So I Quickly Turn Around to catch the person off guard,"WHO ARE YOU?",I question them.
Startled,she screams. Turns out it was actually Nadia."What the hell is wrong with you?!", she exclamed with anger.
I replied,"I thought someone was following me.",that's all.
We settle down and start walking to our apartment,"Soo, do you live around here aswell?",I asked.
She replied with,"Uh huh, what about you, you live here aswell?"
I said,"Quincidencely, yes"
I go inside the building, she follows,I take the lift, she follows, and as I am about to unlock my room, I realized,"WE ARE NEIGHBOURS?!"
