"The master, whom you will meet in time, is currently recovering from major injuries he had received during the battle we had at the enemies headquarters. Every one of you will be given the resources you need to become an elite at whatever role you choose."
He paused, and his voice softened again.
"You will be given everything you need to become powerful. You will be given homes here, in the safe zones we are building."
He held out his hand toward the crowd, palm open.
"You lost something when you were cast out. We can give it back. And we can give you the strength to make sure no one takes it from you again."
The crowd began to move.
A few started forward toward the platform, drawn by the promise of something they had stopped believing existed.
Klein watched them come.
His expression stayed calm.
