Elena's POV:
My smile fades slowly. Why is he looking at me like that?
Adrian's head is slightly tilted to the side, his brows furrowed as he stares at me, studying me as if I'm something fascinating.
"Uhh…" I laugh nervously. "Is there anything on my face?" I bring a hand up to check.
"Mm-mmm," he shakes his head.
I cock a confused brow. "Then why are you staring at me like that?"
"Like what?" he drawls.
I gulp quietly. "Nothing," I blurt. "Never mind."
"Mmm," he hums lowly.
Okay. I think I'd better go to bed now.
"Uhmm… we should get some rest. We've both had a long day," I say, then move to get up, but his hands suddenly plant on either side of the counter, trapping me in place.
"You know you have a beautiful smile?"
My stomach plummets and I feel heat rush to my cheeks.
"What?" I croak.
"You're beautiful when you smile."
