A little while later, the feast had been dismissed, and Elion, Paul, Terressa, and the others had all taken residence in a more private structure within the clan.
The atmosphere was considerably more solemn now.
Well, that was if one counted out Elion.
He remained as relaxed as ever, seemingly unconcerned about the fact that he had just possibly provoked an entire clan that apparently had enough influence to make even Paul nervous.
Eventually, Elion could no longer stand the awkward silence.
Paul had been a free spirit for most of the time they had spent together, usually laughing loudly, drinking even louder, and behaving as though the world had very few problems worth worrying about.
Seeing the usually carefree patriarch sitting there with such a grim expression was very uncomfortable.
Elion finally broke the silence.
"Am I to assume this Dragonborn Clan is not some simple clan?"
Paul grumbled and nodded.
