Chapter 43 - "The Heaven-Earth-Piercing Fist."

Broly didn't black out after transforming, which was weird. His mind didn't even flicker for a second.

He more or less knew why. Back when Erha forced the system to fully activate, it absorbed most of his berserk Legendary Super Saiyan energy. That power had once gone dormant, and now that it awakened again, it was completely under his control. No more backlash, no more mental interference.

This form wasn't just a "pseudo Super Saiyan." And turning into it wasn't something one could simply trigger. Normally, anyone who transformed into it—even Goku and Broly in the original story—would lose consciousness for a moment.

But mid-battle, Broly just slipped into the form naturally. Even he didn't expect that.

What he also failed to notice was something even more important:

Only someone whose Saiyan bloodline's ferocity and humanity perfectly balanced at this stage could stay conscious in pseudo Super Saiyan form.

That tiny, almost invisible detail meant that in the future, when Broly reached the limits of Super Saiyan 3, both the divine path and the Super Saiyan 4 path would open completely to him. He could even walk them at the same time without hitting any major walls.

"What… what's going on?! This Saiyan's power just shot up dozens of times in an instant!" Slug broke into a cold sweat.

Broly's power had blasted past sixty million in a heartbeat. Winds whipped his long hair straight up like flames.

To be fair, even Broly froze for a few seconds. That monstrous bloodline of his had suddenly burst open with insane potential. He clenched his fists, feeling a tidal force inside him like his body was about to explode. It felt incredible… but also oddly uncomfortable.

It was like a huge chunk of power was still locked away, unreachable. Like something was missing.

"Maybe my current strength just isn't enough to pull it out… or maybe I'm not angry enough," Broly muttered to himself before lifting his eyes to the trembling Slug.

Broly gave him a mocking smile. "What? Too scared to move? Fine, I'll go first."

Before Slug even processed the words, he was already bent into a U-shape, smashing through a row of buildings and skidding out the other side. Broly had kneed him in the gut at a speed Slug couldn't even register.

"Cough— cough— h-ha… ha…" Slug dragged himself out of the rubble on shaking arms. His breathing was ragged, like a demon hand was squeezing his throat tight. Sweat dripped nonstop down his face.

"M-my lord… Broly, right? Could you… spare me? If you let me go, I'll leave Earth immediately and never set foot here again for the rest of my life. How does that sound?"

Slug looked like he was begging for mercy, but his eyes—hidden by his lowered head—were full of venom and jealousy. His arms quietly stretched underground, creeping toward Broly from below.

Broly pretended not to notice, lowering his head as if seriously considering the offer.

Slug's heart leapt with joy. He kept his face humble and hurried to sweeten the deal.

"Lord Broly, if that's not enough, I—I can even swear loyalty to you! For life! Perhaps you might reconsider—"

"Oh? I see…" Broly said softly.

And then—

"Ha! You fell for it! Die!!!"

Slug instantly flipped from submissive to savage. The ground shook as something huge burst up from below.

"Tch. I've been waiting for you," Broly said, arms folded.

He lightly tapped his foot.

A strange, invisible shockwave shot straight into the earth—meeting the giant underground ambush head-on.

A scream tore out.

Slug staggered back, both arms completely destroyed, eyes bulging in horror. "Wh-what?! How did you know?!"

"I told you. Tricks won't save you. Ten of you together wouldn't beat me." Broly grinned coldly. "As for how I knew… ask King Yemma in Hell."

"And feel honored—you get to die to one of my new moves."

"Heaven… Earth… Piercing… Fist!"

Broly became a streak of light.

A fist, like it was made to pierce the very sky, slammed toward Slug with unmatched dominance.

For Slug, for Goku, for everyone watching—everything vanished in that instant. There was only that single overwhelming fist, growing larger, blotting out heaven and earth. A fist that declared: I stand above all.

As Broly threw the Heaven-Piercing Fist, a hazy figure appeared behind him.

Not a Great Ape.Not a Golden Dragon.

A Super Saiyan with hair so long it nearly touched the ground—and a tail swaying behind him. The form was unclear, but the aura was unmistakable.

The pressure was suffocating. The battle intent felt like it could shatter the sky. Whoever that figure truly was… their power bordered on terrifying.

Vegeta's breath caught.

"S-so strong… so terrifying… m-my body… it's shaking on its own… No—this isn't fear. This is submission. Why?! Why is my Saiyan royal blood reacting like this?! Has he really gotten this strong already?!"

Piccolo swallowed hard.

"What a crushing aura… I can't even muster the will to resist. Broly… have you really climbed this high? Can I still hope to catch up…? No—even if you leave me in the dust, I won't give up. I'll chase you to the end, Broly!"

Broly felt the terrifying presence behind him too. But instead of fear, his heart burned with excitement.

Because he knew: someday… he would reach that level himself.

His fist punched clean through Slug's chest, bursting out his back. Under the explosive, unreasonable power of the Heaven-Piercing Fist, it was like punching through paper.

Just as the name implied, it was a punch meant to pierce heaven and earth. Broly created it based on Goku's technique used to defeat King Piccolo, mixed with elements of the Dragon Fist.

It had only one principle:

Overwhelming, absolute domination.
