Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

"He was the Moon

Calm, Patient, Strong, Waiting in the dark....

She was the Star

Bright, Scattered, Forever running from herself....

And somewhere between distance and destiny, they found each other."

Priya wasn't doing anything extraordinary just laughing at something on her phone, her hair a mess, her eyes half-hidden behind strands that refused to stay still. Yet, something about her felt different... Maybe it was how her chaos felt like home to his calm.

Manav didn't believe in coincidences. He believed in time.... The right kind. The kind that doesn't rush, that waits until two lost pieces are finally ready to fit....

"What's the name of this song?"

"Ek tarfa by King"

Priya had no idea she'd just texted someone who would later understand her silences better than her words.

She was clumsy, trusting, kind... She believed in the good in people, even when it hurt her. Life hadn't been gentle, but she carried her warmth anyway, spilling it into places that didn't always deserve it.

Manav was her contrast sharp, steady, disciplined... A man who built walls to stay strong, to unexpectedly stop believing in love.... but yet quietly longed for someone who'd see past them... He'd always been the protector, the one who held everything together, even when no one held him. He'd always been the warrior, the one who will fight for him and his love one, even when no one fight for him.

Two souls.....

one made of light, one of gravity.

He was the Moon, finding beauty in stillness, staying lighted in dark.

She was the Star, learning how to stay, finding her light.

It wasn't love.

Not yet.

It wasn't even a meeting.

Just… a beginning.

A beginning written in messages, songs, and late-night talks.

A story that didn't need fireworks or fate, only timing.

Because sometimes, the Moon doesn't chase the Star.

He just waits

until she learns that she is always been orbiting him.

Character introduction:

Manav,

A boy who carries the values of humility, respect, and integrity with pride. He walks through life with a quiet charm and undeniable handsomeness that draws people toward him. Loved by everyone for his sincerity and straightforward nature, he lives by a simple rule: "Give respect, take respect." To many, he seems perfect, a man who knows who he is and what he stands for. Yet, beneath his calm demeanor lies a trace of silence. He smiles with the world during the day but often finds himself alone with his thoughts at night. Honest to a fault, He is someone who speaks his mind, even when the truth is hard to hear.

Priya

She is a who Carefree in ways that made people envy her, but careless in ways that made her ache later, alone..

She never took life too seriously; rules and routines bored her. She lived in the moment, chasing small joys a cup of chai, a random melody. Her words, though often sharp, were rarely cruel they were her armor, her way of surviving in a world that misunderstood softness as weakness. But behind that sillyness and easy laughter was a girl who had forgotten what it felt like to be truly seen. The warmth she gave so freely was never quite returned.
