Chapter 308 - Chapter 307 You're Making Things Difficult For This System!

Upon hearing Amy's question, the first thing that popped into Mai Ge's mind when he thought of a white cat and a black bear was—a panda.

Those adorable creatures that can make a living simply by being cute everyday are probably the most carefree animals in the world.

However, Lu Lu and Xi Xi are still druids in essence, only they transformed into a big bear and a white cat after their transformations. As for whether their babies will transform into pandas, Mai Ge is not sure.

Judging from the words alone, the prerequisites are already met. As for whether their genes are strong enough to produce a giant panda, that remains to be seen.

Xi Xi was also stunned for a moment, then looked at Lu Lu with a happy smile on her face. "Lu Lu said he wants to have lots of babies with me, so we can have bears and cats in the future, and then we won't have to worry about it."

"Then... when you have your baby, can I play with the baby?" Amy asked Xi Xi expectantly.

"Of course they can play with Little Amy. You'll be a big sister then." Xi Xi nodded with a smile, her face also full of anticipation.

Xi Xi quickly finished her third bowl of chicken soup, along with half a bowl of chicken meat. A faint bluish-green light began to appear on her lower abdomen, and her complexion returned to its normal color.

"Boss Mai, Little Amy, and Aisha and Yabemia, thank you so much for saving me and Lu Lu." Xi Xi, supporting herself on the counter, bowed to Mai Ge and the others, expressing her gratitude.

"It was nothing, no need to be so polite." Mai Ge smiled and shook his head.

"Don't be afraid, Sister Xi Xi. If any bad guys come again, Amy will chase them away." Amy said, clenching her little fist.

"Yes, I think you are good people, and those werewolves are bad people, so it's only right that we help you." Yabemia nodded in agreement.

Sally simply nodded slightly, remaining silent, her eyes showing a hint of surprise as she looked at Xi Xi's lower abdomen.

She had discovered this earlier when treating Xi Xi, Xi Xi's body seemed to possess something that could absorb life magic. The sensation was somewhat similar to life magic, yet completely different, which she found fascinating, even making her feel as if she was hallucinating.

But now, within this bluish-green light, she sensed the same aura. Having suffered such severe injuries, her rapid recovery and ability to get out of bed must have been largely due to this strange magical energy.

While the chicken soup from the braised chicken was delicious and nourishing, but it was still far from being a panacea for healing.

"Lu Lu, let me feed you some chicken soup. You need to drink more to get better quickly." Xi Xi slowly walked to the table, ladled out a bowl of chicken soup, and headed towards Lu Lu.

"You drink it. Watching you drink is enough." Lu Lu looked at Xi Xi, whose complexion had improved considerably, and his worries completely subsided. He shook his head affectionately.

"No, if you don't drink it, I won't drink it either." Xi Xi pouted and shook her head, scooped up a spoonful of chicken soup, blew on it, and slowly fed it to him, saying with a smile, "You drink the chicken soup, and I'll eat the chicken meat, so we can finish this big bowl of chicken soup."

"Let's go get some late night snacks, or we'll all be stuffed." Mai Ge picked up Amy, turned, and headed out the door. It's the middle of the night, eating too much sweets isn't good.

Yabemia and Sally silently followed them out. Having survived such a close call, they should be given some space.

"Xi Xi, it's my fault. I couldn't protect you properly." Lu Lu looked at Xi Xi, slowly raised his hand to touch her face, and said with a hint of self-reproach.

"Who said that! Lu Lu is my great hero! There is no one in the world more powerful than Lu Lu, and no one cares about me or spoils me more than Lu Lu." Xi Xi shook her head, her pale golden eyes only seeing him.

May you cherish me like a child, and may I admire you like a hero.

...

Mai Ge treated Yulian to a late night snack, and then Sally used magic to clean up the restaurant before heading home with Yabemia, bringing their busy day to a close.

Mai Ge locked the door, lowered the blinds, and watched Amy, who was urging the Ugly Duckling to run around the restaurant. A gentle smile appeared on his face. Instead of going upstairs, he pulled out a chair, sat down, and watched quietly.

"Meow~" The Ugly Duckling cried out to Mai Ge for help. It had only eaten two bites of braised chicken, and now it was being forced to run ten laps around the restaurant! This…this was practically corporal punishment!

Mai Ge ignored it, smiling as he watched Amy, who was waving a small whip and following behind the Ugly Duckling. Of course, the little girl's enjoyment was more important.

After running ten laps, Amy picked up the exhausted Ugly Duckling, who was sprawled on the ground, and gently rubbed its little head, saying, "Ugly Duckling, you're such a good one, you ran ten laps. Keep up the good work tomorrow!"

Hearing this, the Ugly Duckling rolled its eyes and fainted in Amy's arms.

"Come on, it's time to go upstairs and sleep. You have class with Teacher Yulian tomorrow, it starts at 7:30, so you can sleep a little longer." Mai Ge turned off the light, picked up the two little ones, and went upstairs.

"Daddy, Grandpa Principal is so amazing! Will Little Amy be able to become a powerful mage like him someday?" Amy asked, turning her head to Mai Ge as she lay in bed after washing up.

"Of course, as long as Amy studies magic diligently under the guidance of Masters Crassus and Yulian, you can become a mage even more powerful than Principal Norvan." Mai Ge nodded with a smile. Having inherited the bloodlines of a level ten knight and a level ten elven mage, and studying magic under two level ten archmages, Mai Ge felt that Amy's future was infinitely promising.

"A super mage..." Amy happily closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep.

"Little one, let me protect you until you become a great mage." Mai Ge walked to the bedside, bent down and kissed the hair on her forehead, tucked the blanket in, and turned to walk towards the door, thinking to himself, "System, I want to buy a sword."

"This system offers millions of choices: long swords, shorts words, heavy swords, soft swords... whatever the customer needs, I have it all..." the system's voice rang out, in a standard salesperson's tone.

"That sword from last time is enough, but I have one condition." Mai Ge calmly interrupted.

"Please speak, host."

"As my physical attributes improve, I'll definitely need to replace my swords regularly. You'll have to recycle the ones that are no longer useful." Mai Ge said seriously.

"Host, you're making things difficult for this system! Every sword produced by this system is custom-made for its user. Only one person can perfectly match this sword. Once I collect it, it becomes scrap and there's no way to sell it. I won't do this kind of unprofitable business!" The system's annoyed voice rang out.
