Chapter 74 - Chapter 74 May Be It's Because They're Not Cute Enough (Bonus Chapter)

The Ugly Duckling peeked out from Amy's arms, its eyes wide with curiosity. It was the first time it had ever seen so many fat people.

Mai Ge, who had just come out with four Rou Jia Mo, also looked a little surprised. Harrison had said he would bring his friends over, but he didn't expect him to actually bring five today.

However, looking at these six rather unusual guests, an image suddenly flashed through Mai Ge's mind: the six of them happily munching on their Rou Jia Mo, their chubby bodies jiggling…

The image was too vivid for Mai Ge to bear.

But he was still quite happy to have five more new customers.

"Boss Mai, I'd like three Rou Jia Mo." Harrison picked a table and sat down, speaking familiarly to Mai Ge. Since having Rou Jia Mo yesterday at noon, he had been eating at the restaurant for all three meals for the past two days. He had gotten up a little late this morning and missed out on Rou Jia Mo, so he deliberately made sure to meet them a little earlier than usual. He arrived shortly after the restaurant opened.

"Okay, please wait a moment." Mai Ge nodded and turned to go into the kitchen.

The group split into two groups, sitting down in groups of three.

"It smells so good!" The chubby man in the yellow shirt couldn't help but take a few deep sniffs as soon as he sat down, looking around to find the source of the aroma.

"Yes, what kind of meat is this? How can it smell so good?" The aroma of meat filling the air made everyone swallow hard, and they couldn't help but look at Harrison and ask. Unlike the smell of roasted meat, this aroma was even more tempting.

However, everyone's attention was quickly drawn to the small-eyed man sitting at the next table, who was holding a Rou Jia Mo. The enticing aroma wafted over, the brown paper bag contained a white flatbread, seemingly filled with a thick layer of meat. He squinted his small eyes, held it with both hands, took a big bite, chewed with a happy and satisfied expression, and then slowly swallowed.

"Gulp~" Everyone swallowed almost simultaneously.

"What is this?"

"I want one too!"

Everyone turned to look at Harrison, some eagerly asking, watching someone else eat delicious food right in front of them was torture for foodies.

"This is the legendary La Zhi Rou Jia Mo, the dish I'm highly recommend it to you all today." Harrison said calmly, secretly delighted by their expressions of surprise.

"Boss, I want three Roujiamo!"

"Me too, three!"

"Me too, three!"

As soon as Harrison finished speaking, everyone started raising their hands to order. Their appetites were similar, so they all ordered the same amount as Harrison.

"Okay, please wait a moment." Mai Ge placed a plate of Yang Zhou Fried Rice in front of a customer, then turned and went back into the kitchen, spinning like a top when he got busy.

"What's that colorful thing? It looks delicious too." the fat man in red shirt asked curiously, looking at the Yang Zhou Fried Rice.

"It's rainbow fried rice and it's super delicious." Amy, sitting behind the counter, replied, looking at the two tables of Winter Melon Legion and finding it quite amusing.

"Huh?" Everyone turned to look, and their eyes lit up when they saw Amy sitting behind the counter, holding a strangely colored kitten in her arms. She had a delicate and lovely appearance. It was rare to see such a cute little girl. Although she looked like a half-elf, even the pure-blooded elves they usually saw were not this cute.

"This is the boss's daughter..." Harrison covered his mouth with his hand, lowering his voice to remind them.

He had personally witnessed Amy cast a single fireball spell this morning, causing the lava troll to back down immediately. Although she looks delicate and cute on the surface, she was actually a genuine little witch.

"What an adorable little girl. She's not as scary as you make her out to be. Demons and orcs? They only backed down because she's cute." The chubby man in blue shirt waved his hand, completely disbelieving that the seemingly harmless Amy could be anything scary.

"Exactly, exactly! I've never seen such a cute little girl before." The fat man in red shirt next to him nodded in agreement.

"Alright, whatever you say." Harrison rubbed his forehead, a headache forming. It seemed that convincing them that Amy was truly terrifying wouldn't be an easy task.

"Little Boss, I'll also have an extra serving of super delicious rainbow fried rice." The fat man in blue shirt said to Amy with a smile. Jergi • Falan Suowa was a bit older among the group. His family owned several iron workshops and shops, two of which he was currently managing. However, he didn't have much to do, so he usually just hung out with Harrison and the others.

But unlike them, he already has a wife and three sons, the eldest of whom is five years old.

Jergi had always wanted a cute little daughter, but he had three sons in a row, and now his wife was pregnant with the fourth. His wife said that if this one was also a boy, he could take a concubine, since she wasn't going to have any more children, and anyone who wants to have children can.

Of course, he wouldn't dare take a concubine. After all, his usually gentle wife had been holding scissors behind her back when she said that. If he hadn't been so observant, he probably wouldn't have known what would happen next.

Because of this resentment and expectation, he usually liked other people's little girls. After seeing Amy, he was even more envious of Mai Ge. Having such a lovely daughter was just too wonderful.

"Okay." Amy nodded, then turned to the kitchen and said, "Daddy, Uncle Blue Fatty wants a rainbow fried rice."

"Pfft—" Harrison and the others burst out laughing. Although they were about the same size, they were still overjoyed to see Jergi given such a nickname.

Jergi was stunned for a moment, and his expression became a little strange. What kind of weird nickname is "Uncle Blue Fatty"? But looking at Amy's cute and serious expression, he couldn't bring himself to be angry, and even felt a little amused.

"Yellow Fatty, Green Fatty, Red Fatty, Cyan Fatty, Gray Fatty uncles, what are you laughing at?" Amy asked curiously, looking at the group laughing so hard they were bent over.

The laughter stopped abruptly. They exchanged glances, their expressions becoming quite interesting.

"This girl is definitely not as simple as they seem!" This was the thought that flashed through everyone's minds at the same time, making them both annoyed and amused.

"Hahaha, Red Fatty!" Harrison was the first to burst out laughing, looking at the fat man in red shirt opposite him.

"You Gray Fatty, don't talk." The fat man in red shirt had a dark expression, unable to suppress his own laughter.

"I can't take it anymore. Why do I still want to laugh even though I'm being mocked? If this was any other time, we would have all flipped the table by now." the fat man in yellow shirt said, suppressing his laughter and sounding somewhat puzzled.

"Probably because they're not cute enough." the fat man in cyan shirt sighed deeply.
