Chapter 64 - Chapter 64 Demon's Reaction

Sargeras nodded, feeling somewhat surprised as well. Over the years, quite a few human restaurants had refused to serve him, and even those that did allow him to stay would direct him to a designated area for demons, making him feel awkward as an outsider.

Unexpectedly, this thin, frail looking human owner showed no fear of him and even invited him to sit down. This was the first time Sargeras felt respected. He looked around and pulled out a chair at a corner table near the entrance; there were no other customers nearby.

The enticing aroma of meat made Sargeras, who hadn't had breakfast yet, even hungrier. He looked at Mai Ge and pointed to a customer's Rou Jia Mo and said, "Boss, I'll have one of those." His voice was hoarse and dry, as if he hadn't had water in a long time.

"Okay." Mai Ge nodded and turned to walk towards the kitchen.

"Wow, what a big bald head!" Amy's eyes lit up as she looked at Sargeras sitting down. She slid off the high stool, carrying her little orange cat, and walked to the table. Looking up at him with curiosity, she asked, "Hello, Big Bald Head, I'm Amy. Are you a demon? What kind of demon are you? If you don't have a single hair, are you a bald demon?"

"Meow~" The Ugly Duckling nestled in Amy's arms looked up at Sargeras with curiosity, showing no fear whatsoever.

Sargeras was taken aback for the first time being called "Big Bald Head" to his face. As a lava troll, his temper was as easily ignited as lava. No one dared to underestimate him in the Demon Island, and in this Chaos City, ordinary humans would avoid him. He never expected this little girl to dare call him that.

However, his gaze, which had been rising with anger, instantly softened when it fell on Amy. This little girl was so cute!

She had silver hair braided into two small braids, a delicate and adorable face, a beautifully sculpted appearance, and small pointed ears, she seemed to be a half-elf.

She was holding a fluffy orange and white animal in her arms. Standing in front the table, the two little ones looked up at him with wide, bright blue eyes, full of curiosity and anticipation. Their expressions showed no trace of mockery or amusement in the words; it was more out of childlike curiosity.

Normally, Sargeras would have pulled out a fireball and scared them away by now. But this little girl was just too adorable. He couldn't bear to frighten her with a terrifying fireball, and besides, she was probably the restaurant owner's daughter. The owner had just given him a sense of respect, so he decided to tolerate this question for now. However, he still kept a stern face, giving Amy a "keep away" look, and said, "I am Sargeras, a warrior of the powerful Lava Demon race, not some bald demon."

"Sar...Sar...Big Bald Head." Amy shrugged helplessly. "But your name is too hard to pronounce. Big Bald Head is easier to remember. As soon as I see you, I'll remember you."

A spark ignited again in Sargeras's eyes. If the person standing opposite him was a man, he would have already challenged him to a duel, no, he would have given him a direct blast of fire to teach him the consequences of disrespecting a lava demon.

But looking at Amy's conflicted and helpless expression, he couldn't bring himself to be angry. Was he really supposed to attack such a young girl?

Although Sargeras, being a demon, rarely showed any mercy or compassion, and over the years he had killed more than one or two humans for various reasons, he was now really burning with anger, but had nowhere to vent it. After all, the little girl had tried her best, and even made him wonder if his name was really too hard to remember.

"Your La Zhi Rou Jia Mo." Mai Ge brought out a Rou Jia Mo and handed it to Sargeras, smiling as he patted Amy's head. He had overheard most of their conversation; the little girl was both lovable and exasperating.

However, as someone with a hidden sharp tongue, watching Amy verbally attack the customer until they were both angry and annoyed, only to have to forgive her upon seeing her face in the end, gave him a strange sense of satisfaction, which was quite enjoyable.

Sargeras took the Rou Jia Mo, his attention shifting from Amy to the Rou Jia Mo in his hand. The steaming hot Rou Jia Mo emitted an equally enticing aroma of meat, with chopped meat stuffed inside the slit open white flatbread.

He had traveled extensively throughout the continent, even visiting the capital of the Los Empire, but this was the first time he had ever seen a flatbread prepared this way. He couldn't resist taking a large bite.

An unprecedented deliciousness spread through his mouth, causing him to close his eyes involuntarily. Every taste bud rejoiced and danced with delight. This flavor was so unique, completely different from any meat he had ever eaten. Paired with the soft, sweet flatbread, the taste was elevated to another level. It was truly a delicious food that moved him to tears.

He wasn't exactly a picky eater; eating raw food was common on Demon Islands, and at most he would just roast it over a fire in his hand. Later, in order to find a way to become stronger and leave Demon Island, he slowly began to come into contact with human food, and the taste and texture were indeed much better after cooking.

But this was the first time he had ever tasted food this delicious. It was like a small torch suddenly turning into lava and it was a completely different level of deliciousness.

Mai Ge pulled Amy back two steps. This pork came from the Demon Island, and according to the system, it should have a strong effect on demons, so they had to be wary of his reaction.

After Sargeras swallowed the large mouthful of Rou Jia Mo, it immediately turned into a warm current that slid down his throat, making his throat feel as if it was on fire. This feeling quickly spread to his blood vessels.

The blood seemed to boil, surging and crashing through the veins like galloping horses, with flames appearing like flowers blooming above the blood.

"Whoosh!"

"Ah—"

A sound of flames rising rang out, accompanied by Sargeras's long howl. His closed eyes snapped open, and flames several centimeters long shot up from his entire body.

Immediately afterwards, the front of his clothes burst open, and the lava-like patterns on his body cracked open at a speed visible to the naked eye, with golden-red liquid slowly flowing inside, radiating a terrifying temperature like real lava.

"Unex.....unexpectedly his clothes suddenly burst open!" Mai Ge raised an eyebrow, his expression turning somewhat strange.
