One year later.
Montu was sitting in lotus position on a clean mat and was meditating in his newly built hut.
"Montu! Come out, I have a business opportunity for you." A gentle but old voice came from out of his hut.
Montu opened his eyes and stood up.
He opened his door and invited the old man who was village chief of this small sunrise village which has around forty families.
"Here village chief drink lemon water." Montu said to Village chief and sat down on the mat.
After drinking lemon water village chief looked at Montu and opened his mouth.
"Montu a new order has come for your charcoal from Nottingham City from a merchant, he wants to buy around one hundred kg of your charcoal and will pay twenty gold coins." Village chief said to Montu.
Hearing this montu nodded and thanked the village chief for helping him in his business.
Few days later they arrived at Nottingham City and met with the merchant and business deal was successful.
Montu sighed looking at merchant who was going away, he thought he can get long term order.
Montu sighed the gold coins in pouch and handed two gold coins to Village chief.
Village chief accepted the money without a word because it was a deal between them that one will help him find business opportunities and he will give ten percent of what he earned through that deal to Village chief.
Montu after saying something things to Village chief turned and entered the market of Nottingham City.
This city because of being near border of Tiandou and Xingluo empire it has more people coming and going, so business is also booming.
After entering the market he headed to pharmacy shop.
Montu looked at old man sitting on counter saying nothing about welcome customer.
But he ignored it.
"Do you have Whale Glue?" Montu asked the old man.
Old man was bit surprised and looked at Montu but his eyes turned and tried to find something out of the shop and soon retracted his eyes.
"Yes, I recently got a fifty year old whale glue and it's price is ten gold coins." Old man said and took out whale glue.
Montu nodded and handed the ten gold coins and took the whale glue exiting the shop.
Montu headed towards the book shop of city and entered it.
"Hey uncle do you have soul beast illustration book?" Montu said to young man behind the counter.
Man nodded and handed montu the book for One gold coin.
Montu took the book and exited the shop and headed to blacksmith shop.
Arriving at blacksmith shop Montu frowned a bit, as hot air was coming out of blacksmith shop making him uncomfortable and stench was bad.
But he didn't said anything and entered the shop.
A middle aged man stopped hammering the iron in front of him and looked at familiar customer who came a month ago to order few strange parts.
"Your things are ready total of one gold coin for smithing and one gold coin for the refined iron metal used." Blacksmith said putting the box in front of Montu.
Montu nodded and gave two gold coins and took the box and left the shop.
He entered another shop and after getting the box containing the metal parts he left to another shop.
"Hello, I ordered the spider silk of cloud spider soul beast a month ago, it is available?" Montu asked the shopkeeper.
Shopkeeper hearing him took out a box and put it in front of Montu.
"Yes it is ready, total of ten gold coins." Shopkeeper said.
Montu nodded and gave the ten gold coins and sighed while looking at his empty pouch which was full of gold coins before and now is empty.
He took the box and headed to the gate of Nottingham City after exiting the shop.
After meeting with village chief they headed back to Village.
After reaching village Montu headed to his house and opened the boxes containing metal parts and some iron arrows.
He picked up a hammer and started making the compound bow by assembling all small parts to each other.
A compound bow was ready.
Montu took out spider silk and put it in two circles at end of compound bow and tied the silk tightly, he stood up and pulled the string back, checking the strength of the compound bow.
After feeling that he can fully pull the string he was satisfied.
"Now I will have to exercise and increase my arms strength and aiming." Montu muttered excitedly.
Montu added new training slot in his training timetable.
Six months passed.
Montu arrived at Nottingham City and after selling the Charcoal to city merchant whom with he has established the long term business of about an year, he headed to blacksmith shop and in his bag was the Whale Glue he bought six months ago.
"Now after taking the whale glue there will be certain chances of myself having innate soul power and can easily absorb a yellow soul ring and can use the compound bow easily." Montu thought to himself with a smile on his face which was slightly brown because of practicing in sun for long time, not particularly attractive just an average face.
"Hey uncle blacksmith, I want you to help me melt this thing." Montu said to blacksmith.
Blacksmith nodded and took the whale glue and looked at it, not recognising what this thing is.
He started burning the whale glue in his furnace.
Few hours later.
Montu took the melted whale glue in metal bottle he has prepared and after paying ten copper coins to blacksmith.
He headed back to the small room he has rented for a day hurriedly.
After entering the room and locking the door he swallowed the warm whale glue and gulped it down.
He used the common meditation method he bought for a one copper coins trying to refine it.
He felt hotness in his stomach which increased to his whole body but died down after few seconds.
His whole body was sweating badly and he was getting his teeths tightly in pain not daring to scream.
'Shit! Looks like whale glue has some bad effects on my body.' Montu thought to himself and fell unconscious.
At night he woke up and found himself body in weak pain.
He moved his body which was bit straining, but he felt that his body was bit light compared to before.
"Looks like the whale glue has increased the physical fitness of my body, there are certain chances that I will awaken atleast one level of soul power." Montu muttered and took a bath in the water he prepared before taking the whale glue.
