Oscar Sanders and I were both children of Alphas, but our status couldn't be more different.
The child of a small pack like Sand Pack didn't even have the right to befriend a Beta's child from Green Pack.
So the fact that I met him, and even asked him for help, was something he should be grateful for.
It didn't take long for Oscar to agree to my request. He would inform Mrs. Willette that Clarissa would not be joining the competition.
I stepped forward and patted his shoulder.
"I was also asked by a woman from the orphanage in Brown Pack to pass along the message. Thank you for helping me."
He nodded, clearly flattered. He didn't need to verify whether what I said was true or made up.
He wouldn't dare oppose me.
Before leaving, I whispered one more thing to him.
