Chapter 112 - Chapter 111. Truly Worthy Having 'that' Constellation

Chapter 111. Truly Worthy Having 'that' Constellation

The Abyss. The Taboo.

Neither term was unfamiliar within the Chat Group.

The reason was simple: both Raiden Makoto and Azhdaha had shown unmistakable vigilance whenever the subject of taboo was mentioned.

As for the Abyss—this was a different matter altogether. Though the Abyss Order bore its name, it represented only a fragment of the Abyss's true scope.

In the original narrative remembered by Futsu Mitama, the Abyss Order was largely composed of survivors from the fallen ancient kingdom of Khaenri'ah. Yet the Abyss itself predated them all—an existence that carried knowledge and power not belonging to this world.

The concept of taboo, however, was far more ambiguous.

Previously, Azhdaha had been regarded as a taboo.

Istaroth was also a taboo.

Even Albedo himself fell within that category.

In the memories of Futsu Mitama's former life, the continent of Teyvat was riddled with concealed truths. Even Venti and Zhongli—the two Archons who knew the most—would reveal only fragments before deliberately stopping short.

At the time, this could be dismissed as official obfuscation. Yet with the opening of Dragonspine, Enkanomiya, and The Chasm, The Hexenzirkel, Night Kingdom lore enthusiasts eventually uncovered a grim consensus:

There truly were things on Teyvat that could not be spoken.

Once uttered, they could invite calamity—disasters from which even The Seven Archons could not fully escape.

Maha Rukkhadevata's caution now made sense.

She recognized Raiden Makoto and Azhdaha. As an Archon defined by wisdom, she would have immediately grasped the implications of their presence. After joining the Chat Group and observing the exchanges, she must have realized something crucial at once.

Her delay in changing her name was likely not hesitation—but contemplation.

Now, pressed by Futsu Mitama, she had no choice but to reveal herself and face the truth directly.

"If that's the case… then the situation really is grim."

Albedo frowned slightly. For the first time, concern surfaced clearly on his face. He had begun to wonder whether Maha Rukkhadevata's presence might interfere with the Chat Group itself.

No one understood the terror of taboos better than Albedo. He was acutely aware of his own danger. Self-awareness mattered—but even so, he believed that if he ever lost, Mr. Zhongli beside him would be able to suppress it.

Yet after only brief observation, Maha Rukkhadevata had concluded that her very existence might endanger the Chat Group.

"Something even Archons must fear…" Kuki Shinobu frowned as well. "Has it attached itself to Lord Maha Rukkhadevata?"

Since joining the Chat Group, she had encountered the original Raiden Shogun, the ancient elder of Liyue, and lingering Archon remnants. Knowledge once unimaginable now surfaced daily.

This group was where she learned the most. She did not want a taboo tied to Maha Rukkhadevata to destroy it all.

"Very likely."

Zhongli nodded faintly.

Only such a threat would make an Archon of wisdom hesitate so profoundly.

In such a short time, Maha Rukkhadevata must also have grasped the wondrous nature of the Chat Group. Upon seeing Raiden Makoto, Azhdaha, and Guizhong, she would have understood why she herself had been drawn here.

"Don't worry." Futsu Mitama's voice remained calm.

He looked toward Maha Rukkhadevata's name within the Chat Group and spoke evenly. "Although I don't know why the Chat Group chose me as its Group Leader, its existence clearly transcends the understanding of this world."

He did not believe the Chat Group was invincible—but if the threat was merely taboo, it likely could not affect it. After all, even the most terrifying form of corrosion on Teyvat could be suppressed—and even healed—simply by joining the Chat Group.

And this Chat Group was far from simple.

At only LV3, Futsu Mitama already possessed strength comparable to that of an Adeptus.

At LV4, LV5, LV6… he might even challenge higher existences.

Moreover, the sign-in rewards were bizarre and unpredictable. Who could say what terrifying things might be obtained in the future?

He was even curious: once the group reached LV6, would the sign-in effects still continue to strengthen him?

But such thoughts were premature. The group was only LV3, and he had only consumed a fraction of the legacies left behind by the Raiden Shogun and Rex Lapis.

"Mm." Zhongli nodded in agreement. "Yes. This Chat Group is exceedingly unusual. It transcends everything on the continent of Teyvat. The taboo likely cannot destroy it. And even—"

He paused, glancing at Kuki Shinobu and Klee, who were watching with open curiosity.

"Even The Seven Archons cannot destroy this Chat Group."

Zhongli stopped there.

What he truly meant was an existence above the heavens. But considering that the Group Leader might already have guessed his identity—and that Kuki Shinobu and Klee had not—he deliberately chose safer words.

After all, he had attempted to study the Chat Group himself.

And failed utterly—unable even to begin.

As the oldest Geo Archon, Zhongli was qualified to state that The Seven Archons could not destroy it. Even higher powers might be unable to interfere.

Of course, being unable to destroy it did not mean there was no weakness.

The Chat Group's greatest vulnerability was Futsu Mitama.

He was the Group Leader.

Others might fall without consequence—but if the Group Leader died…

Zhongli did not dare imagine it. Thus, he would protect Futsu Mitama with all his strength. Not least because Azhdaha and Guizhong were also here.

One relied on the Chat Group to resist corrosion. The other relied on it simply to continue existing.

"Even The Seven Archons can't destroy it…?"

Kuki Shinobu wanted to refute that instinctively—but found herself unable to.

Raiden Makoto had said the same: the Chat Group was too mysterious, likely the work of a higher power.

As the original Raiden Shogun, her words carried weight.

Yet both Raiden Makoto and Maha Rukkhadevata had supposedly fallen five hundred years ago.

That realization made the calamity of that era even more unsettling.

What exactly happened…to claim two Archons?

Zhongli said nothing further. The more one spoke, the easier it was to err.

Kuki Shinobu was trustworthy. Klee, however, might blurt something out someday without meaning to.

"Let's hear what Lord Maha Rukkhadevata has to say first." Albedo smoothly redirected the conversation.

At that moment, Maha Rukkhadevata finally spoke within the Chat Group—her words immediately drawing everyone's attention.

Raiden Makoto: "I never thought even you would join. What is your current state?"

Azhdaha: "I heard you had already fallen. I didn't expect you to still be… 'alive.'"

Maha Rukkhadevata: "Long time no see, Baal. Azhdaha. My current state… is more painful than death."

Maha Rukkhadevata: "The reason is exactly as you suspect. Forbidden knowledge polluted Irminsul—and polluted me. Though I died, everything about me, even my memories, was preserved within Irminsul."

Maha Rukkhadevata: "I am glad to see you all safe. But I am also afraid—afraid that the taboo bound to me will contaminate this Chat Group."

Futsu Mitama: "It's fine. Try sensing whether anything unusual happens after joining."

Yae Miko: "This Chat Group is nothing like the Akasha System. It can heal corrosion—and even restore fragmented souls."

Albedo: "We don't yet understand forbidden knowledge fully. Please don't assume the worst."

Guizhong: "Yes. The Chat Group truly is miraculous. In only a few days, I already feel much better."

Zhongli: "From a universal perspective, nothing from the outside can influence this Chat Group."

Sangonomiya Kokomi: "Please don't lose hope, Lord Rukkhadevata."

Kamisato Ayaka: "It's too early to give up."

Keqing: "There's just one thing I don't understand—why would forbidden knowledge be able to pollute both Archons and Irminsul? And…what exactly are forbidden knowledge and the World Tree?"

Raiden Makoto: "Forbidden knowledge can be understood as information that does not belong to this world. It is extremely dangerous—so dangerous that merely knowing of its existence can invite calamity."

Azhdaha: "As for the World Tree—explaining it properly would take far too long. You only need to know one thing: it is incomparably important."

Zhongli: "More importantly—@Futsu Mitama—have you noticed anything unusual about the Chat Group itself?"

Futsu Mitama: "Nothing at all. If something truly abnormal occurred, the Chat Group would issue an announcement. Speaking of which… @Maha Rukkhadevata, do you know the current situation in Sumeru?"

Maha Rukkhadevata: "I do not. I remain within the World Tree, quietly awaiting my successor. I require her to erase my existence—so that the world may completely forget me."

Raiden Makoto: "Forget you? Has it truly reached that stage already?!"

Azhdaha: "What?"

Guizhong: "Erase your existence? Make the world forget you? Has the situation really become that severe?"

Maha Rukkhadevata: "This is something I must do. But tell me, @Futsu Mitama—why ask about Sumeru? Has something changed?"

Futsu Mitama: "I can't be certain. But your successor—Lesser Lord Kusanali—is likely in a rather…awkward position right now."

Zhongli: "Sumeru's current state is indeed peculiar. Lesser Lord Kusanali has ruled for five hundred years, yet there is very little discussion about her. Instead, reverence for Maha Rukkhadevata remains widespread."

Kuki Shinobu: "That matches what I've heard. I've spoken with Sumeru merchants recently—their attitude toward Lesser Lord Kusanali is dismissive, while their admiration for the late Maha Rukkhadevata borders on reverence."

Sangonomiya Kokomi: "That is consistent with reports from scholars who visit Watatsumi Island. It's said Lesser Lord Kusanali appeared only once—five hundred years ago—and never again after being welcomed into Sumeru City."

Keqing: "That makes her the most mysterious of the second-generation Archons. Her presence is so faint it's almost…unnatural."

Maha Rukkhadevata: "What are the Sages doing? After five hundred years, have they truly failed to nurture her?"

Albedo: "We lack direct information. And it seems no one from Sumeru is present in the group."

Black Aila: "Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma—we have members from all three. But none from Sumeru."

The conversation drifted slightly, yet remained anchored to a single unresolved truth: Sumeru was wrong.

Maha Rukkhadevata knew nothing—not because she was careless, but because her existence itself was suspended between life and death. Unable to wield the power of the World Tree, even maintaining awareness was already a mercy.

What troubled her most was the contradiction.

According to her plans, the Akademiya and the Sages should have guided Kusanali carefully. Yet the reality described here…did not align with that vision at all.

Confusion lingered.

With no Sumeru representative present, there was no answer—only speculation. Zhongli, who seemed to know more than he revealed, remained silent. And so the topic was temporarily set aside.

Futsu Mitama stated calmly that once matters in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma were settled, he would personally travel to Sumeru.

He then mentioned condensed resin and the special husk doll—topics that instantly stunned Klee, Keqing, and Maha Rukkhadevata alike.

Only then did Keqing fully understand. So this was the reason he had left Liyue so suddenly.

He hadn't been "saving people" in some abstract sense—he had been saving gods.

Guizhong.

Raiden Makoto.

Even Azhdaha, a being of legend.

Realizing this, Keqing could only sigh inwardly. Had Rex Lapis not assigned her duties, she would have followed Futsu Mitama to Mondstadt without hesitation.

As for meeting the Anemo Archon…she doubted it would be difficult. With the inheritance of Rex Lapis and the authority of the Electro Archon, whether as a successor or as a retainer, Futsu Mitama had more than enough standing.

The only uncertainty was whether Barbatos himself would appear.

Raiden Makoto answered decisively: if Futsu Mitama went to Mondstadt, he would meet Barbatos.

That certainty made Maha Rukkhadevata pause. There was meaning beneath those words—but having just joined the group, she chose silence, observing quietly instead.

Once the Sumeru matter was set aside, Futsu Mitama shifted to another topic.

Futsu Mitama: "I've selected the three administrator candidates."

Futsu Mitama: "They are among the earliest members, widely respected, and highly knowledgeable. There are only three slots for now—but more may open as the group level increases."

Yae Miko: "Oh? I assume there's no place for me, then. You do seem to have… opinions about me, little one."

Futsu Mitama: "It's not that. It's just—if you were an administrator, the group would descend into chaos."

Yae Miko: "Slander! Inazuma hasn't collapsed under my watch for five hundred years."

Raiden Makoto: "Indeed. Still…Yae's temperament may not be ideal for such a role."

Zhongli: "So—who are the administrators?"

Futsu Mitama: "Aila. Raiden Makoto. And Mr. Zhongli."

A system announcement followed immediately.

Group Announcement: Black Aila has become an administrator of Teyvat Continent Loving Family.

Group Announcement: Raiden Makoto has become an administrator of Teyvat Continent Loving Family.

Group Announcement: Zhongli has become an administrator of Teyvat Continent Loving Family.

No one was surprised.

Black Aila had accompanied Futsu Mitama the longest. Raiden Makoto was the First Electro Archon and had bestowed her inheritance. Zhongli's assistance in Liyue bordered on immeasurable.

After the appointment, subtle changes rippled outward.

Aila and Zhongli both felt it—a deeper connection to the Chat Group.

In Tenshukaku, the Raiden Shogun opened her eyes.

Musou Isshin shimmered faintly.

She reached out—then the light vanished, as if it had never existed.

"…?"

Confusion flickered through her gaze. In the end, she closed her eyes once more.

Three days remained.

She wanted to see just how far that human could grow.

For the first time in centuries, anticipation stirred within her.

On the road to Mondstadt, Albedo studied Zhongli with quiet curiosity. Something had changed—briefly, unmistakably.

Kuki Shinobu felt it too. Just for an instant…an overwhelming presence.

I couldn't beat him, she realized.

The Wangsheng consultant who "knew a little of everything" was anything but ordinary.

"How do you feel?" Futsu Mitama asked.

"Peculiar," Zhongli replied softly. "My strength…has increased."

True astonishment crossed his expression. It had been millennia since his power last grew.

And yet—now, it had.

Even if only slightly. That alone was enough to shock a god.

Futsu Mitama's eyes lit up.

"If even Zhongli can grow stronger…then Aila—"

Hope surfaced.

Any increase mattered.

Because Aila's other half was approaching. And their battle was inevitable.

Only one could remain.

Aila: "My strength has increased significantly. Even my master has noticed."

Raiden Makoto: "This administrator role strengthens my soul. I could now exist outside Musou Isshin—briefly."

Zhongli: "It offers many benefits."

Azhdaha: "Hmph. If Baal gains something, why wouldn't a 'mortal'?"

Raiden Makoto: "Hahaha~ Indeed."

Futsu Mitama: "If only we were LV4 already… Administrator slots would surely increase."

Keqing: "Then how do we increase the group level?"

Kuki Shinobu: "Sign in. That's the key."

Yae Miko: "Hehehe. High experience rate, low item rate… Even someone as wise and beautiful as me has never gotten an item."

Albedo: "I doubt I'll ever sign in for items anyway."

The Chat Group continued—quietly reshaping fate, one conversation at a time.

Maha Rukkhadevata: "Signed in. Sixty experience."

Keqing: "Eighty-three experience."

Futsu Mitama: "Don't be discouraged if you didn't get an item. Everyone goes through this. Besides Aila, no one in the Chat Group can continuously obtain items."

Futsu Mitama:"Holy crap."

Maha Rukkhadevata: "?"

Keqing: "Don't swear!"

Yae Miko: "Oh? Could it be—"

Raiden Makoto: "That reaction… it certainly looks like it."

Kamisato Ayaka: "Mmm~ a very familiar response indeed."

Sangonomiya Kokomi: "Futsu Mitama's mental energy is about to drop sharply."

The members who were already familiar with Futsu Mitama understood immediately. There were very few things in this world capable of making him lose composure so thoroughly. And at this moment…only one explanation fit.

"…That, um… Klee didn't gain any experience from signing in."

In the physical world, Klee stood there holding a glass bottle shaped like a small test tube. The clear liquid inside reflected faint light as it swayed gently.

She looked up, eyes misty, voice filled with grievance.

"I only signed in and got this thing…purification liquid."

Silence.

For an instant, Futsu Mitama, Kuki Shinobu, Zhongli, and Albedo all fell completely quiet.

The atmosphere froze.

No one spoke.

No one even knew how to speak.

Zhongli slowly closed his eyes.

Albedo's gaze drifted away, expression turning subtle and unreadable.

Kuki Shinobu pressed her lips together, choosing wisdom over words.

And Futsu Mitama—

He stared blankly ahead, soul visibly departing his body.

Purification liquid.

An item.

An actual item.

And the person who obtained it… was Klee.

Futsu Mitama took a slow, deep breath.

"So this is how it is."

Yae Miko's voice floated in with unmistakable amusement.

Yae Miko: "Fufufu~ So even the Chat Group favors children with pure hearts?"

Raiden Makoto: "It seems the system itself has… preferences."

Kamisato Ayaka: "Klee truly is loved by fate."

Sangonomiya Kokomi: "From a probabilistic standpoint, this is highly unreasonable."

Keqing: "Why do I suddenly feel wronged?"

Klee tilted her head, still clutching the bottle.

"Um…is this thing very good? If it's not useful, I can give it to Brother Futsu Mitama."

That sentence—

That single, innocent sentence—

Dealt critical damage. Futsu Mitama staggered internally.

"No," he said hoarsely, forcing himself to recover. "You keep it. Items obtained through sign-in belong to the signer."

Because if even that were taken away—

He wasn't sure he could maintain his dignity as Group Leader.

Zhongli finally opened his eyes, his tone calm but weighted with meaning.

"Klee's fortune has always been…unusual. Perhaps this purification water has found its rightful owner."

Albedo nodded faintly. "Yes. From an alchemical perspective, a pure vessel is often the most compatible."

Kuki Shinobu sighed quietly.

"So this is what 'talent' looks like."

The Chat Group resumed its lively rhythm soon after. But deep down, several members reached the same silent conclusion—

The true terror of the Chat Group was not forbidden knowledge.Nor the Abyss.

It was luck.

And today, luck had chosen Klee.
