Chapter 140 - 98) Kakashi vs Might Guy

While Madara and future self of Akira were playing Whack-a-tobirama, somewhere across the battlefield, the current Akira stood with arms crossed, eyes sharp, his voice echoing across the war-torn land.

"Yatagarasu.

Let's take care of Naruto"

A deep, metallic screech split the sky.

Kraaaa!!

YATAGARASU VS. NARUTO (Nine-Tails Mode)

Akira raised one hand.

FLAMETHROWER.

Yatagarasu's beak opened wide, and a column of black, spiraling divine fire roared out. The flames twisted like living serpents as they stabbed toward Naruto.

But Naruto, now in his Complete Nine-Tails Cloak, moved like lightning.

He dodged the trail of fire and launched a Tailed Beast Bomb straight upward at Yatagarasu.

AIR SLASH — COUNTER

FWOOOOM!

With one mighty flap, multiple air slashes burst out—shards of condensed light and wind smashing into the Tailed Beast Bomb. The sphere detonated mid-air, consuming itself in a sun-like explosion.

No one took damage.

Naruto's eyes widened.

BRAVE BIRD — DIVING EXECUTION

Yatagarasu screeched again and its entire body ignited in black-blue divine flame.

Its wings folded.

It fell like a meteor.

WHAM!

Yatagarasu slammed Kurama from above, grabbing the Nine-Tails by the throat with talons that dwarfed mountains now—because the current Yatagarasu was bigger than Kurama, not the small two-floor-building version from before.

CRUSH CLAW → SEISMIC TOSS COMBO

Yatagarasu's talons crackled with sage chakra.

Crush Claw!

A shockwave carved the land as Yatagarasu's enhanced talons ripped across Kurama's chakra.

Then—

SEISMIC STOMP!

The divine raven's legs glowed white as celestial power surged downward, smashing Kurama into the ground so hard the earth cratered like a falling meteorite impact.

SEISMIC TOSS — SKY SPIRAL VARIANT

Yatagarasu flapped upward, spinning Kurama rapidly in mid-air like a living tornado.

Naruto, inside Kurama, became dizzy—vision blurring.

And then—

Yatagarasu hurled the Nine-Tails from high altitude.

Kurama smashed into the terrain with devastating force, carving a massive canyon.

Akira didn't wait for Naruto to say thanks for the flight."

He simply lifted a finger.

SACRED FIRE MODE

Yatagarasu screeched.

Black flames exploded around its body, swirling like a storm.

FLAME CHARGE COMBO:

It glided downward.

One after another, divine and Pokémon-style attacks blurred together:

HEAT WAVE — scorching fire incinerated the battlefield.

BOLT STRIKE — divine thunder crackled across Yatagarasu's wings and speared Kurama.

SKY DROP — Yatagarasu snatched Kurama again and slammed him from the clouds.

CRUSH CLAW — tearing shockwaves exploded.

DARK PULSE — rings of concentrated malice burst at point-blank range. ( A bit like tailed beast ball but different shape. )

NIGHT SLASH — black blades sliced across Kurama's tails.

ROOST — Yatagarasu momentarily healed mid-combat, its aura strengthening.

Naruto countered with everything the Nine-Tails had—but Yatagarasu overwhelmed him.

Because…

Nine-Tails was a pure warrior-class beast with only one true ranged ability:

Tailed Beast Bomb.

Yatagarasu, however—

could shift between Assassin, Warrior, Mage, and Divine-Class forms at will.

Yatagarasu dominated every category.

---

Akira didn't hesitate.

He pointed at Naruto, his eyes cold.

"Yatagarasu…

Let's end this.

DRACO METEOR: FLAME STORM HELL."

Naruto's expression tightened.

That name alone sounded like the kind of technique that deletes countries.

And judging by Yatagarasu's aura… it wasn't an exaggeration.

Naruto braced himself.

He didn't even attempt a Tailed Beast Bomb this time.

He had fired dozens before—none had landed. Not even close.

And right now, in Nine-Tails Complete Form, Naruto couldn't use Rasenshuriken.

But if he dropped to his Golden Human-Beast Mode, he would lose defense instantly.

Too risky.

None of his options mattered.

Yatagarasu screeched.

A deep, resonant metallic sound.

Then it began rotating above Naruto, its massive wings slicing the air.

Tighter. Faster. Tighter. Faster.

In seconds, Yatagarasu's rotation hit sonic speed, the air buckling around it.

The spiraling wind distorted the landscape.

KRAAAAH—!

Yatagarasu squeezed one more shriek, and between the circular flight trail, something formed—

BLACK MATTER

A sphere of compressed black matter condensed in the center.

Small at first.

Then growing—wider—heavier—until it reached the size of a Tailed Beast Bomb.

And then—

It shot straight up into the sky.

Naruto blinked, confused.

Did the attack miss?

For a moment, it looked like the technique had failed.

Then the black sphere exploded.

From its core emerged twelve colossal black feathers, each larger than a Susanoo wing.

They descended like divine judgment.

FWOOOM…

The feathers encircled Naruto, forming a perfect circle—the same circle Yatagarasu had flown.

Naruto felt his instincts scream.

He prepared to attack the feathers to escape—

but suddenly—

His body froze.

His eyes widened.

Looking down, Naruto saw it:

Black sealing runes crawled up his arms, legs, chest—originating from the twelve feathers, binding him in place.

He was trapped.

Akira extended his hand.

"Now."

FLAME STORM HELL — ACTIVATION

The twelve black feathers ignited simultaneously.

A colossal black flaming storm erupted, swallowing the entire circle.

The flames roared like a living beast, devouring chakra, crushing space, eroding everything.

Naruto felt death creep in.

The Nine-Tails Chakra Cloak shook—

then began collapsing from the outside inward, as if the flames were consuming the coat itself.

Naruto panicked.

This… this might actually kill me…

But then—

SILENCE

Everything stopped.

The flames vanished.

The feathers dissolved into black motes.

The sealing runes faded.

Naruto collapsed to one knee, gasping for air, drenched in sweat.

He looked around.

Yatagarasu was nowhere—

Until he felt a tiny flap.

Yatagarasu, now small as an ordinary raven, perched proudly on Akira's shoulder, chest puffed like a soldier reporting victory.

As if the divine general had defeated an enemy god…

…and returned to its king for a reward.

---

Akira gently tapped Yatagarasu's tiny head.

"Good job, Yatagarasu.

Honestly… we only won because of you."

Yatagarasu puffed its chest even more — proud, smug, and absolutely certain of its own greatness.

Then it gave a small "Krah."

Akira blinked.

"…So you don't want to fight anymore? You just want to watch the rest of the game?"

Yatagarasu nodded immediately — the nod of a veteran general who had done his part for the world and now wished to sit back like a retired king.

Akira laughed softly.

"Fair enough. You earned the right to spectate.

---

Naruto's Side

Naruto, still catching his breath and shaking off the remaining dizziness, didn't argue.

He knew he was done.

Kurama muttered inside him,

"Yeah, kid… we're definitely sitting out."

Naruto mentally agreed.

Neither of them tried to force their way back into the match.

---

So, with one last look at Akira, both Naruto and Yatagarasu walked off the battlefield — one exhausted, the other acting like a tiny emperor leaving his conquered land.

The space barrier flickered, recalibrating.

And just like that—

The game shifted.

From 5 vs 5…

to 4 vs 4.

The atmosphere immediately tightened.

---

Just when Akira was finishing his battle with Naruto and Yatagarasu,

a thunderous crash shook the arena.

Madara's booming laughter followed immediately:

"HA HA HA HA HA!

Uchiha brat… you still have much to learn."

Akira froze and turned.

There — buried head-first in the ground like a broken statue — was Tobirama Senju, still twitching slightly.

One of Madara's Susanoo avatars stood above him, hammer resting proudly on its shoulder.

Madara had scored first.

Akira scratched his cheek.

Yeah… I really underestimated that old fossil.

But Akira didn't dwell on it. He simply clapped his hands.

A simple clap — yet the sound rang across the entire battlefield like a divine gong.

Everyone stopped instantly.

Akira announced:

"Madara wins this round.

So Madara's team gets the free kick.

Now… who's your target?"

Before anyone else could answer—

Might guy shouted from across the field:

"Youth!"

Everyone stared.

"KAA-KA-SHII! This is our chance!

I will make the goal.

You will defend it.

Let us decide the victor with our power!"

Kakashi blinked under his Susanoo.

Guy, from the other side, pumped his fist.

"YES! KAKASHI! BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF YOUTH!"

Kakashi sighed but nodded.

It was fair.

And honestly… exciting.

Madara didn't object — he respected the strength of 7th Gate Might Guy.

And he had zero intention of fighting the weakest enemy himself.

So the arena cleared, forming a massive circle.

The Duel: Might Guy's Shot vs Kakashi's Goalkeeping

Kakashi stepped forward and summoned his Complete-Body Susanoo, two Kamui Sharingan blazing.

Across from him, Might Guy inhaled deeply.

Akira approached Guy.

"Target? Tobirama or Hiruzen?"

Guy didn't even hesitate.

"Hiruzen Sarutobi.

I must strike with all my strength."

Tobirama nodded like he expected it.

Hiruzen sighed, feeling a pain he technically shouldn't feel.

He walked to midfield.

Guy gathered everything — spirit, muscle, soul — into his fist.

Daytime Tiger.

Hirudora.

Guy punched forward with all his concentrated youth.

A massive chakra tiger roared into existence and devoured Hiruzen instantly.

But the tiger didn't stop.

It kept charging straight toward Kakashi.

Kakashi knew this was the strongest attack Guy had ever thrown at him.

He grit his teeth.

"Kamui: Double Spiral Void!"

Two Kamui shuriken shot out of his Susanoo palms and collided with the charging tiger —

but Hirudora burst straight through, partially shattered but still monstrous.

Kakashi roared.

His Susanoo formed a massive sword, infused with Kamui's space-tearing energy.

He slashed.

Daytime Tiger vs Kamui Blade.

BOOMMM!!!!

Dust consumed the entire field.

When it finally settled—

Kakashi's Susanoo stood, cracked, scorched, and missing an arm.

But still standing.

And in one massive Susanoo hand…

Hiruzen Sarutobi was caught like a ragdoll.

Madara clicked his tongue.

"Tch "

Kakashi exhaled sharply and smirked through exhaustion.

"Guy…

Scoreboard says one to zero.

You're still losing."

Guy threw his head back and laughed loudly.

"THEN I WILL TRAIN AND RETURN, KAKASHI!

WE SHALL COMPETE AGAIN!"

Both smiled — rivals, brothers, equals.

Then Guy walked off the field.

Kakashi followed shortly after, still proud of his save.

And just like that—

**The battlefield shrank again.

From 4 vs 4

to

3 vs 3.
