Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 I Didn't Graduate After Returning From Dragon Ball

In Konoha Year 46, within a quiet small house, a flash of light appeared, and a human figure materialized inside the room.

"I finally made Demon King Piccolo bleed." Looking at the drop of blood in his hand, obtained through immense hardship, Chiaki Setsuna sighed with emotion.

It had been thirteen years since he crossed over into the Naruto World. When he first learned he had transmigrated into the Naruto World, he had envisioned many different paths for his future.

There was the route of acquiring Kekkei Genkai through scientific research and transplantation, the route of apprenticing under the Sannin to practice Senjutsu, or, at the very least, becoming an unremarkable Professor of Ninjutsu.

But he never expected reality to hit him so hard so quickly.

His talent in Chakra was quite good, but his ninjutsu talent was a complete disaster, similar to the future Rock Lee, possessing almost no aptitude for Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, once facing the risk of being advised to drop out.

Fortunately, Konoha at this time could still be considered the 'beacon' of the Ninja World. Considering that both his parents were Chunin who died in the Second Great Ninja War and had contributed to Konoha, even if his talent was trash, the Third Hokage, after consulting Setsuna's opinion, still allowed him to stay.

In a sense, an average person staying in the Ninja Academy actually carried risks.

Because, once war broke out and reached a critical stage, Academy Students would also be sent to the battlefield.

The reason Setsuna insisted on staying was, of course, for Taijutsu training.

No matter how ordinary the Academy's instructors were, they were still Chunin, which was certainly better than him trying to figure things out on his own.

Of course, the most crucial point was that the All-World Pearl that brought him here was still with him, allowing him to travel to other worlds.

Even if he couldn't practice Ninjutsu, he still had other paths to take.

However, considering he was too young before, and in case he would cross over to a world more dangerous than Naruto World would be troublesome, plus the All-World Pearl reminded him that after initiating a cross-world journey, he must stay in that world for at least one year before he could return to his home world, he therefore lay low, waiting patiently and training in Taijutsu.

He trained in the same manner as Lee did in the original work and discovered his talent in Taijutsu was quite good.

Although it couldn't compare to those super geniuses, after eight years of arduous training, he had reached a level nearly equivalent to a Taijutsu Jonin.

A Taijutsu Jonin sounds great, but in this world of Ninjutsu, a pure Taijutsu Ninja is too easily countered. Against Genjutsu or poison techniques, he had almost no means of resistance.

Precisely because of this, even though his strength had long surpassed most of his peers, he was content to remain a repeat student in the Ninja Academy.

And it wasn't that he was deliberately hiding his abilities, and it's just that he genuinely couldn't perform the Three Basic Technique.

Konoha at this time didn't have a special talent admission system yet, and his skewed aptitude wasn't recognized by the mainstream.

However, as time gradually approached the Third Great Ninja War, Setsuna knew he could no longer wait.

Once the war broke out and reached its most intense stage, even if he couldn't graduate, the village would most likely still send him to the battlefield.

Therefore, he chose to activate his first cross-world journey. Then, as expected, the unexpected happened.

After crossing over, he found himself tens of thousands of meters in the air. Just as he was lamenting that his life was over, a majestic Shenron suddenly blotted out the sky.

'Is this the Dragon Ball World?' Setsuna had no time for surprise or further thought, nor to ponder whether the languages were mutually intelligible.

He shouted as fast as he could, "Shenron, please grant me an immortal body."

To Setsuna's astonishment, the languages of the two worlds were actually the same.

His wish was granted, and although he was smashed to pieces by the fall, the power of the immortal body allowed him to recover quickly.

If he had a choice, he would have wished for Saiyan Bloodline to easily boost his combat power, but reality was that he had to ensure his own survival first.

Moreover, the power of the immortal body also allowed him to push his body's potential to the limit through the most brutal training methods.

It was this very brutality that earned him the appreciation of Master Shen, allowing him to become a disciple under Master Shen.

After learning [Ki], the first technique he mastered was Sky Dancing Art. He never wanted to experience a situation like before again, so learning to fly was a priority.

The Taijutsu foundation he built in Konoha was quite good. Coupled with the immortal body allowing him to recklessly push his body's limits in training, in just one year, he managed to overpower Tien in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai, but ultimately lost to Goku, who suddenly powered up mid-battle, finishing as the runner-up.

Then, after the tournament, when he was preparing to find the Dragon Balls to wish for a powerful bloodline, he coincidentally encountered the recently freed Demon King Piccolo, who was also searching for the Dragon Balls.

It has to be said, even the aged and weakened Piccolo Daimao was despairingly powerful. Setsuna was toyed with, having almost no means to fight back.

Although he had an immortal body, there were far too many ways to counter it.

The simplest method: if Piccolo just dismembered him and buried the pieces, he would end up in the same situation as Hidan.

Therefore, the first time he revealed the secret of his immortal body, seizing the moment of Piccolo's shock, Setsuna mustered all his strength to injure Piccolo, then used his fastest speed to take this drop of blood and return to the Naruto World.

Pulling his thoughts back, Setsuna carefully took out a small glass vial to collect the blood.

Then he took out a capsule and tossed it onto the ground. With a light 'poof', a suitcase appeared before his eyes.

This was a DynoCaps he bought in the Dragon Ball world. Besides Piccolo's blood, it also contained Goku's hair.

This was a backup plan he had considered long ago. The All-World Pearl informed him that aside from the Naruto World bound as his main world, to travel back to any other world, he must go through a cooldown period of three cross-world journeys.

Therefore, if he couldn't obtain the Saiyan Bloodline through a wish, he could still gain power by transplanting cells. And this time, he even obtained Namekian's blood.

'However, cell transplantation isn't that simple. It seems I need to find a way to get close to Orochimaru and learn his scientific techniques for cell transplantation.' Setsuna pondered to himself, then suddenly thought of a problem, "Is my immortal body still active?"

After all, it was a wish granted by Earth's Shenron. It's unlikely to be effective across universes.

Thinking this, Setsuna casually picked up a kunai from the room and stabbed it towards the tip of his left index finger.

With a 'snap' sound, the kunai directly broke.

Setsuna shook his head slightly.

The Ki Training System was clearly oriented towards low magic resistance and high physical resistance.

When Goku first appeared, he could already withstand bullet fire. After training under Master Roshi, he could even withstand cannon bombardment.

Although part of that was due to his Saiyan Physique, it still sufficiently illustrated the powerful physical defense of this system.

Setsuna got a bit more determined. His right hand directly shot a Dodonpa through his left index finger.

He remained expressionless, as if feeling no pain, watching as the wound healed at a visible rate, becoming completely perfect in about a minute.

'The immortal body has been weakened, but it still has some effect.' Setsuna thought to himself.

If it were the original version of the immortal body, such an injury would heal instantly.

But he was already quite satisfied. With his physical defense plus recovery speed, there should be very few people in the Naruto World who could kill him.

'And, I still have Senzu Beans!' Setsuna looked at the cloth bag inside the suitcase. The thirty Senzu Beans inside were his greatest confidence.

The Senzu Beans hadn't been completely depleted by Yajirobe's gluttony yet, which was how he managed to obtain so many from Karin.

As long as he wasn't instantly killed, he could recover using the Senzu Beans.

After placing the glass vial into the suitcase, Setsuna took out four wristbands from it.

These wristbands were specially made weight-lifting wristbands he had crafted in the Dragon Ball World.

Setsuna put the four wristbands on his wrists and ankles respectively, then looked towards Konoha's now quiet night.

'I haven't completed today's training yet. Time for a night run now.'
