"Alright Mom ,i'll let you know once i get there"speaking to my mum and dad as i leave the front door ."And keep your phone on always emmy"my mum yelled from her house office ,
"Sure mum ,gotta go,love you!!"i said "We love you baby!"my dad and mum said in unison.
Halting a taxi i enter inside and told him my destination soon later i started staring at the busy city headed to meet grandma.She recently fell ill and mum and dad didn't trust anyone esle to take care of her,
But since they were all choked up with works and we are on break at school, i had to step in to save the day.And by the way taking care of grandma shouldn't be that bad right?
just give her meds,make sure she falls asleep when she's supposed to ,give her meals and make sure she eats them ,see not that bad.....i thought.Just one problem she's living
in a remote village!! which means there's going to be the worst signal over there uhg!.
I woke up from my sleep drenched in sweat and rapidly pounding heart,"Hey Lady, are you ok over there?"The taxi driver asked looking concerned over the rearview mirror
"Uhm yeah i'm ok, thanks"i responded while faking a smile.He returned to the road,while i started to wonder what type of dream had.These dreams have been plaguing my mind for
the past one year and its always the same thing i keep dreaming about, A WOLF . A majestic black male wolf,with the thickest black fur ever and it's yellow piercing eyes .But don't be mistaken by its looks its very dangerous
in this dream i just kept on running i mean would you see a wolf and stand there and smile?.
Just while i was still wondering why i kept on having those dreams the car started moving funny, when i say funny i mean like scary funny "uhm whats going on?" i asked the taxi driver while holding and balancing
myself from moving around with the car. "I don't know ,the car has lost it's control madam, brace yourself!"the taxi driver yelled while trying to gain control of thre car but failed
"you cant be kidding me!, we are in the middle of a fucking bridge"just as i said that the car suddenly veered off course ,crashing through the guardrails and plunged into the water below.
Last thing i remember seeing before i blacked out from the impact of my head hitting the window was a guy, tall,broad shoulders,thick dark hair ,muscuslar and handsome running to help,
why did i get the feeling like ive seen him?.
TYLER'S POV
"Ive made up my mind mason,I have to find her i cant keep living like this! Everyday of my life i feel totured,hopeless and no goal or ambition for the future, im just existing."I said trying to compose myself not to loose my mind
"Look I know this is hard for you but-" "No you don't! you've found your mate and you're with her that's why this is so easy for you to say!",i said cutting mason off ."im sorry ,i just got to find her mason, im loosing my mind" i said immediately
feeling bad i vented my anger on him knowing he just wants to help and is being a good friend "Alright it's fine i'll support you i'm always at your side " mason said giving me a nudge at my shoulder "Thanks bro".
We had to start packing because the journey would be a long one "Hey tyler where would we find her?" mason asked "i don't know, i kept seeing this bridge in my dreams whenever i see her so i'm guessing that's the place" i replied unsure "Oh so we
should just head out and start looking for a bridge?" mason looked at me with a questioning look "Look man i don't know, all i can remember about it was that the bridge is in the middle of nowhere maybe she was heading to somewhere ?
so yeah we would start looking for bridges.Look if you don't want to help it's fine " i said while packing "come on you're my bro we are in this together ok?, i just gotta find a way to talk to Ria about it" mason said smiling warmly .
Mason met Ria at a carnival and they found out they were each others mate 10 years ago, they still crave each other's love and affection that's why they don't have children because they think having children would divert their love for one another, seeing them care and have affection for one another has made me jealous and sometimes wish i've found my mate.
Two days on the road now and i feel like i'm getting closer to my destination everywhere is stark dark and silent "you know, we could've just used our superspeed by finding her than driving all the way through ,God! i'm so tired it's been a long time i drove in a car i'd rather use my speed for transportation" mason lamented."Well we have to act normal one or two times com'on it isn't that bad just enjoy the moment " i said laughing "that's the problem Tyler we aren't normal" mason rolled his eyes while speaking. A bridge could be sighted from afar, i sped up sensing that it could be the bridge "thats the bridge isn't it?" mason asked after seeing my serious /panicking demeanor. I mean yeah this is it, so what would i say to her?, 'hey...i'm your mate?' or what if i don't meet her ?. I removed all negative thoughts and drove faster, a car could be sighted from the bridge it seems as if the car is out of control , i stopped my car and hopped out "Hey man, what are you doing it's none of our business, we came here for a reason now let's look for the reason and go!" mason said hoping out to stop me "mason....she's inside i can sense her" i said still looking straight towards the car, in a blink of an eye it veered off road and hit the guardrail and plunged into the river,we made eye contact before she blacked out from hitting her head against the window i was already running to help "Hey, where are you going " mason stopped me before i could jump in to help "that river's current is too fast and strong, it could carry the both of you away!" mason said trying to get my attention, but i was still focused on the car that is now half way submerged into the river "i'll be fine mason i have to rescue her, would you see your mate infront of you and not help when she's in danger even if it could also put you in danger too?" i turned to mason looking desperate, with a defeated sigh,"alright but be careful i'll go off the road and down the the river bank i'll wait to drag you guys out when you rescue her " i didnt even wait for him to finish his sentence i dived into the river . The car was already on it's way about to sink to the bottom when i went and tore away the door, it was easy because of my supernatural strength, found her and carried her in a princess manner way and tried to get to the shore to meet mason , sure enough the water current was very fast and strong so it did take a while before i could get to the river bank. I saw mason hunched down waiting to drag us out and he also got some new clothes we packed from the trunk .After we got out of the river i was about to dive in again for the taxi driver when mason stopped me "don't tell me you want to get the guy out too?!" "ofcourse i have to"i said with the 'i obviously have to' look on my face. I jumped into the river this time the current hitting me more while nearly losing my balance, i swam to the driver's door and tore the door open got the man out and with difficulty managed to get to the shore, mason was already trying to get the water out of my mate by pumping her chest she started coughing the water out. I rushed to meet her while mason went to revive the driver "Hey are you ok? come on sit up i've got you" i said cradling her back she sat up still coughing out more water and fell unconscious after .I looked over to jason pumping the driver's chest, but the driver was not responding to it ."Let's take them to a hospital" i said hurriedly , mason agreed. We lifted them up and got in the car, mason already drove the cat to the shore so it was much easier , after keeping them in the back seat we turned and sped up to the nearest hospital "Hey ,are you ok?" mason asked seeing my serious demaenor "she's a human " i spoke, mason fell silent daring not to say anything futher .I was in a mess my feelings were scatterd all over, anger, sadness, name it all . I waited for centuries for my mate just to start having dreams of her a year ago which were the signs of my mate being alive, just to find out she's a human?! can life get any better for me?.
Finally got to the hospital we filled in a police form and they got admitted, our work here is done,turning to leave the hospital mason dragged me back with a bewildered look "we came all the way to find your mate now we found her you want to leave without saying a word???", "What do you want me to say?, you know it can end badly for a human that is mated to a werewolf!" i yelled "well you haven't tried it, isn't it worth trying?" mason asked "No, it isn't and it isn't worth risking" i said turning my back to him going to the car that we parked at the drive way, got in the car soon after mason got in too and we headed back home.
