The second grade Bark Skin spell is called Old bark Skin, and the third-grade minor magic power Minor Ancient Bark Skin, which I have drawn!
Of the supportive spells, I'm mainly proficient in the Wood-based vitality recovery spells and Water-based spiritual power recovery based spells, but my research into them is lower than defense.
The lineages I learned are Fast Recovery: Health, Fast Recovery: Spiritual Power, Spiritual Power Storage, Vitality Storage, Wood Spiritual Power Gathering and Water Spiritual Power Gathering, all reaching the second stage but far from the third stage.
Double Talismans are talismans that have a front and back side. Whether you have two times the same talisman, or two different talismans, the effect is generally one plus one being more than two.
The similar talisman achieves a stronger effect, and two different talisman are able to bring forth a different power, creating a third type of talisman that inherits the core and power of both talismans.
In the past, I generally made the same talisman twice and strengthened the talisman, which was popular in the general affairs hall, since my talisman only costs the price of two talismans but has the effect of two and a half or even three!
But maybe I should stop doing this and try experimenting? Now I don't need to do any missions, so I can experiment. Anyways, if the result is good, then the general affairs hall will issue a direct mission to me!

Although as a talisman maker, you didn't need to learn the spells before drawing, usually, the power of a talisman reflected the understanding of the maker.
So, most talisman makers would learn the spell before creating the talisman.
But, there is a large chasm between the first and second higher stage (Qi-Ref, F-B / O-L, S-C). The former has spells, while the later has magic powers.
The difference is not minor even though the magic powers of the second higher stage are called minor magic powers!
They are more than just a higher form of spell – they usually include an inspiration in the core!
Fortunately, Fu Xian had gotten three inspirations: Talisman, Wood and Water. This allowed him to more easily learn magic powers of these three branches.
Because he had a slightly deeper comprehension of wood (since he not only learned talisman but also planting), it was easier for him to learn the wood minor magic power 'Ancient Bark Skin'.
To practice minor magic powers, you had to have a fitting environment.
Fu Xian had created a spiritual pond and filled it to the brim with second-grade lower-grade spiritual water. Even though the pond was barely a cubic metre (1.000 litres), its grade is high enough to count as a lake when practicing 'Vast Lake Shield'.

It instantly expanded! Not only around him, but across the whole image!
The lake had a surface area of a thousand square metres and reached a thousand metre depth in the centre! It was vast and deep!
Previously, the water veins from far away weren't attracted by him, but now, suddenly, as if they were moths and he was the light!
They instantly connected with him, bound him, and he, in that moment, felt as if he was connected to the whole lake!
A single thought, and the lake in the distance rose, another thought, and the lake behind him formed a wave.
