Inside a spacious luxury apartment, cheerful laughter echoed through the rooms.
"Ahhh… finally home. I'm exhausted…"
A girl let out a liberated sigh as she flopped heavily onto the sofa.
Standing beside her were four other girls.
What was shocking was that… all five of them looked exactly the same.
Quintuplets.
After the door closed, the nameplate beside it clearly displayed the surname: Nakano.
"Ichika, you're taking up too much space. Move over a little."
The girl with two black ribbon bows in her hair walked closer.
She was the second sister—Nakano Nino.
The five sisters' names matched their birth order, and the one lying on the sofa was the eldest—Nakano Ichika.
"Haha, sorry, sorry. Sit, sit."
Ichika wriggled a little, hugging a cushion and burying her face into it with a soft, contented whimper.
Nino sat beside her and glanced at their three younger sisters: Nakano Miku, Nakano Yotsuba, and Nakano Itsuki.
"So, what are we going to do now? With test scores like that, we're basically doomed. If Dad finds out, he's definitely going to storm home from the company."
Nino sighed, clearly troubled.
Yotsuba instantly shrank her neck, awkwardly scratching the green ribbon atop her head.
This exam… she had once again proudly secured last place among the five—another perfect zero.
Beside her, Miku leaned lazily against the sofa while Itsuki rummaged through the fridge for milk.
"We should start preparing our self-reflections," Miku murmured softly before falling silent again, not bothering to elaborate.
"It shouldn't be a big deal…" Itsuki took a sip of milk and mumbled, "Dad's probably used to it by now anyway."
"…"
"Hehe, then let's not worry about it," Ichika said casually, looking completely unbothered.
She rolled over and stretched with a satisfied sigh. "I'm beat. Let's take a shower and watch the newest movie on the sofa!"
"Hmph, if none of you care, then I can't be bothered either."
Nino lifted the corner of her mouth, deciding to give up thinking as well.
At that moment, Itsuki walked over with her milk in hand.
Her eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of something sticking out of Yotsuba's pocket.
"Hm? Yotsuba, what's this?"
Before Yotsuba could react, Itsuki reached over and pulled the paper out of her pocket.
The five sisters leaned in.
It was a complicated-looking design—almost like a magic circle.
Itsuki squinted at the scribbled words and read aloud:
"'The most miraculous wishing magic—able to fulfill all your desires. Hurry and make your wish…'"
When she finished, Nino immediately pulled an exasperated face.
"Oh come on. I thought some boy had slipped you a love letter. Yotsuba, how can you still be playing with kiddy stuff like this…"
Nakano Yotsuba let out a dry laugh.
"Um, it's not like that. I just saw a really pretty miss handing out flyers on my way home earlier. She gave me one as I walked by, so I just took it…"
"It's probably another boring promotion from some shopping mall."
Nakano Nino looked completely unimpressed. "Yotsuba, you're always like this. You never know how to refuse people. Stuff like that is totally unnecessary to take."
"Ah… haha…" Yotsuba scratched her cheek awkwardly. "She just looked like she was working really hard, so I thought… why not…"
The sisters fell silent.
This was just how Yotsuba was—kind to a fault.
"But there's no event information on it at all. What a weird flyer," Itsuki said before casually tossing it onto the table.
Miku, sitting on the sofa's armrest, lowered her gaze to glance at the strange flyer but didn't think much of it.
"Let me see… wishing magic… Huh? It says you can really make a wish?"
Yotsuba's green ribbon perked as she said this, her face full of excitement.
"Huh!? Don't be stupid, Yotsuba. What do you think this is? You're not actually believing that, are you?"
Nino rolled her eyes dramatically.
"Hehe, I was just thinking… maybe I can wish for a little good luck. I mean, I got a zero again. That's so unfair. I really did answer seriously this time…"
Yotsuba mumbled, sulking.
Ichika gave her a helpless smile.
"Honestly, even random guessing should get you a few right… Maybe you really should pray to a god for some luck."
"Right? Right!?"
Yotsuba completely ignored her sister's teasing and immediately clasped her hands together, mumbling an earnest-sounding prayer. She looked surprisingly into it.
Her four sisters stared speechlessly.
If wishes worked, they would've prayed to the gods long ago… for perfect test scores.
But while the others were indifferent, Yotsuba was unexpectedly sincere—truly making her wish from the bottom of her heart.
And then—
The flyer on the table, the one printed with the magic circle, began to glow.
A bright light flared, and the paper lifted off the table, floating in midair!
"Eh!?"
Itsuki was the first to notice something was off.
She froze mid-sip, milk cup raised halfway to her mouth, staring blankly at the levitating magic circle.
Then Miku and Nino saw it as well.
Ichika only opened her eyes after hearing Itsuki's startled sound.
In the gaze of all five sisters, the magic circle peeled away from the flyer itself, slowly enlarging in the air, its light intensifying with each second.
FWIP!!
With a crisp sound—
A figure burst out from the formation, landing lightly before the five beautiful girls.
Standing right in front of her, Yotsuba gaped, mouth hanging open as she stared at the boy who had appeared out of nowhere.
She even forgot she had already finished her wish, still holding her hands together like she was praying.
Ryuya Kurobane arrived as summoned—this time using the teleportation array he could activate on his own.
Now that he had become a mid-class devil, he finally had access to that teleportation magic he'd envied so much.
And as far as his first experience went… it wasn't bad at all.
But when he looked toward the clients who had summoned him, his brows lifted slightly.
All five girls looked… exactly the same?
What on earth?
While he was quietly astonished, he maintained a calm expression as he turned toward Yotsuba—the one he knew had summoned him.
"Responding to your call, my adorable lady. My name is Ryuya Kurobane. I am a devil—and I am here to fulfill your wish."
