Chapter 2 - TRASH

Samantha watched Kale's ass as he walked past her. Nice ass for an old guy, she thought while replying, "Sure." She smacked her lips, hesitating for a moment. "I want Derrick in one piece." After she spoke, Samantha slauntered off closing the door behind her.

kale's eyes landed on Reggie, who had a hold of Derrick by his shirt.

Derrick squeezed his eyes shut and turned his head. He bit his lip.

"Why don't you pick on someone who can fight back," said Kale.

Reggie shifted his head. His mouth hung open for a second before he laughed. He spoke venomously as he threw Derrick against the wall. "Who the hell are you? Get the hell out of my apartment!"

A sound of shock left Derrick's mouth as he hit the wall, sliding down. He winced as he lost consciousness. The heavy thud echoed throughout the apartment.

A little ball formed on Kale's cheek. His nostrils flared. "You will regret making that mistake."

Reggie laughed, beguiled by his opponent. "So, old man, you think you can take me?" He took the time to size up Kale. He noticed that despite Kale's age he was well-built.

"No more talking. More fighting," Kale asserted.

Reggie responded. "You're asking for it old man."

"I have no fear of a petty bully who derives satisfaction from harming children or women. I know I can take a man like you any day and bend you over my knee," said Kale.

Reggie roared as he lunged at kale. He threw a punch, aiming for the face.

Kale took the punch. It knocked his face back slightly. "Is that all you got? I knew women who had better stances, and more strength."

Reggie's jaw loosened. He bared his teeth and growled. Who did this crazy old guy think he was? Where did he get off on being so ... cocky? "You crazy senile fool. Your head moved. Get out before I end your ass!"

Kale slammed his fist into Reggie's gut. He withdrew with an eerie composure. Despite his calm appearance, his body hummed with excitement on the inside. Perhaps this is what he needed. Even if he lost, even if he died. This feeling is everything.

Reggie fell to the ground, clutching his stomach. Spittle left his mouth. 'He hits hard. I think he broke something. Who is this old guy? I should be able to take him.' Reggie thought as pain circulated throughout him.

"Get up." Kale went back into a fighting stance.

Reggie slowly placed his hands on the floor, struggling to stand up. Once he stood, he barreled toward Kale and tackled him.

They tripped over a coffee table.

Kale's head smashed off of the end of the glass coffee table. The midsection of their bodies broke the center glass piece.

Derrick awoke upon hearing a loud bang and the shattering of glass. The commotion showed him an unwelcoming sight. Reggie standing up and turning toward him.

Kale stood and reached back to touch his head. His head felt ready to burst. He checked for blood by moving his right hand before his face. His vision wavered as he clenched his bloody hand." Not good enough ankle biter. I am still standing." This is living, he thought.

Reggie tensed and slowly turned around. His eyes widened as Kale got ready for another round.

Kale moved closer to Reggie.

Reggie's eyes bulged. "Go the hell home, fucker! You lost!"

"Scared this old man is gonna wreck you!" Kale taunted.

That is it! I am not holding back anymore!" Reggie added.

"Don't come crying to me if I break you." Kale spread his legs and guarded his sides.

Reggie made a fist and threw it at Kale.

Kale blocked it with one arm and threw a punch with his other. Kale landed a hit on Reggie's face.

Reggie's head flew back with a nasty crack.

Kale then slammed his foot down on the other man's foot.

While Reggie focused on the pain, Kale Bent his knees while rotating his body. He released a nasty uppercut. Reggie hit the ground, losing touch with reality.

Derrick glanced at Kale with admiration. "Wow."

"Kid, let's get you to your mother." Kale walked over to Derrick, holding his hand out. Derrick took the hand and was roughly pulled to his feet.
