Chapter 158 - [158]: Wiping Sweat Is Also a Chapter

"The art supply store said they'd be here soon," Sajuna replied, looking up.

Akira nodded, then stood up and walked out of the room.

Seeing her boyfriend leave, Sajuna quickly got up from her computer desk and followed Akira to the living room.

"Aki-Kun, are you picking a spot for painting?" Sajuna asked curiously, watching Akira continuously check various rooms.

Akira nodded, then pulled open an empty room and stepped inside.

A thin layer of dust covered the empty room.

Fortunately, when Sajuna had come to Akira's house before to help him with a thorough cleaning, they had basically cleaned every room in the house.

Otherwise, trying to clear out a clean art studio for Sajuna now would probably kill both of them with work.

"Let's just do a quick clean."

Akira brought a broom from the living room and swept the dust in the room, then moved a small, unused cabinet to the corner, making the room instantly feel more spacious.

On one side of the room was a window with blinds.

Akira walked over, opened the blinds that had been closed for years, and sunlight immediately poured in from outside.

The dust particles floating in the air were visible in the sunlight.

"This is the Tyndall effect that the teacher talked about," Akira said, stretching out his hand to touch the sunlight streaming through the window.

He felt as if his hand looked much better, its skin texture like that of a newborn baby.

Sajuna stood at the doorway of the room, watching Akira clean amidst the flying dust.

For a moment, she chose not to interfere, just quietly watching the diligently busy Akira.

This was her boyfriend, a boyfriend who loved her very much.

Sajuna watched with a smiling face, cupping her hands over her cheeks.

"Sajuna, stop giggling," Akira said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"Do you have any tissues? Help me wipe my sweat."

Sajuna quickly ran over, pulled tissues from her pocket, and stood on tiptoes, trying to wipe Akira's sweat.

However, Akira was too tall; Sajuna, being under 160 cm, simply couldn't reach his forehead.

Her outstretched arms made her look adorably clumsy.

Akira cooperatively bent down, and Sajuna finally got her wish, wiping Akira's forehead.

After using one tissue, she pulled out another and handed it to Akira.

"Aki-Kun, wipe it yourself.

I feel like I'm just getting in the way like this."

Sajuna's cheeks flushed.

Aki-Kun was clearly sweating from exertion, but her wiping his sweat like this felt more like a playful couple's interaction.

Akira took the tissue, wiped his forehead, and seeing Sajuna's somewhat embarrassed look, couldn't resist gently stroking her hair.

The dust from his hard work clung to Akira's slightly sweaty palm.

Akira didn't notice for a moment, and a dust mark immediately appeared on Sajuna's pink hair.

Akira quickly used the tissue in his hand to wipe Sajuna's hair, with a serious expression.

"Eh, Aki-Kun, what's wrong?"

"When I touched Sajuna's hair, I got her hair dirty," Akira's apologetic voice came through.

"It's fine! Being in a room like this, it's bound to get dirty eventually," Sajuna said nonchalantly.

Watching Akira clean her hair with his head down, she also took out a tissue to help Akira wipe away the sweat from his labor.

Sajuna helped Akira completely clean the room, and then the two of them together put the cleaning tools back into the bedroom.

Akira led Sajuna to the bathroom, turned on the faucet, and gently washed his face, then looked at the dusty Sajuna and said, "Do you need my help?"

"I'm not a baby, Aki-Kun! Saying something like that is really too much," Sajuna said, pushing Akira out of the bathroom, then standing in front of the mirror to examine her makeup.

It didn't seem very dirty?

Sajuna slightly turned on the faucet, took a tissue, dabbed a little water on it, and gently wiped the dirty spots, then pulled out her small mirror and powder puff and started to reapply her makeup.

Sajuna had chosen a simple, elegant makeup style today, which didn't take much time.

So, after finishing her makeup, Sajuna looked at the bathroom's layout.

There was a mirror that showed her upper body, and on a shelf next to it was a toothbrush cup containing a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Judging by the wear and tear of the toothbrush, it was almost time to replace it.

The washbasin was empty, without even a bottle of facial cleanser, let alone other men's skincare products.

Aki-Kun, he wouldn't just wash his face with plain water in the morning, would he? And his skin is still so good?

Sajuna was momentarily lost in deep thought about life…

After paying a little attention to the items in Aki-Kun's bathroom, Sajuna secretly made a mental note of the daily necessities she needed to buy, then walked out of the bathroom.

Akira was sitting on the sofa in the living room, quietly reading a book.

Sajuna saw him, walked over, and sat down beside Akira.

"It's been a long time since I've seen Aki-Kun reading like this."

"Because I've been lazy for a while," Akira said, rubbing the back of his head.

Ever since his skills could handle most things in life, his ambition had weakened a bit.

Just as he had thought before, once a person gets lazy, he truly feels uncontrollably sliding into an abyss.

Although Akira was aware of this, he couldn't completely avoid it.

Fortunately, he still had the self-control to gradually pick up his old habits.

"Ding-a-ling-a-ling."

The doorbell rang at the entrance.

Akira stood up from the sofa and walked towards the door.

"It should be the staff from the art supply store, right?" Akira asked.

"It should be.

I saw them say it would be around now," Sajuna followed behind Akira.

Opening the door, he saw a staff member in a uniform from the art supply store, a young man who looked not much older than Akira.

He had a standard service industry smile on his face, not overtly joyful, but at least not off-putting.

"Hello, are you Mr. Akira?"

"The address left at our store is here, right?"

Akira nodded, and the young man opposite immediately bowed, replying, "We've truly disturbed you."

Then, the young man pulled out his phone, and immediately a car drove towards them.

"We've disturbed you," the young man bowed again, helping the people in the car unload the art supplies Sajuna had purchased and bringing them to Akira's doorstep.

"May we come in?"

"Please come in."

Akira pulled Sajuna aside, making way for the two to pass, then guided the two incoming store employees, saying, "Follow me.

You can put the things in this room."
