Oracle science corps
Horrific screams
Beeping
In a dark room lit only by a white dim light, sits a young man in his late twenties. He's wearing a lab coat that's stained with blood and black ink, he's holding a writing pad and scribbling something on it. Many huge machines are in the room, beeping and humming simultaneously. The man stops scribbling and moves closer to a camera in front of his desk, he looks into the camera and starts talking while the horrific scream continues
"Project sniffer, Day 5 of researching virus alpha. Signs and symptoms of subjects indicate that virus is very deadly and is able to evolve, it's not something that can be explained scientifically. Virus seems to be adapting to host and is merging with his gene" he pauses overwhelmed "this is just incredible, this could open new doors to discovering something new in the scientific world...."
"Enough of the crazy nerd talk"
The young man pauses and turns towards the door to see his colleague walking into the room
"Gabriel" the young man frowns "stop interrupting me, you know the boss wants daily updates"
"What he wants is results" Gabriel frowned "so how have you done it?"
"Um no, the virus is just incredible. I can't extract it from his body"
"Samuel we need to act fast, the boss wants results quickly" Gabriel glared at him "keep trying until you get that damn virus out of his stricken body"
Samuel frowned "this is wrong, the poor man is dying. The machine is tearing his body apart..."
"Oh please like i give a fuck"
Gabriel walked over to a dark corner where on a flat surgery table lay a screaming half naked young man. Streams of wires were attached over to his body from a huge beeping machine, he had bruises all over his pale body and blood flow from his nose and ears. His scream filled the room as the machine drew into his body through the wires
"You're helping us make history kid" Gabriel smirked at the screaming victim
Samuel just sighed sadly from where he was. He looked away and his eyes landed on a picture on his desk, there was a little cute boy and a beautiful white woman in the picture smiling together
"I miss you David, i wish I could see you just one last time" he whispered "I'll get back to you, i promise once I finish this job"
He took a file marked "Kelvin Purple" and gave it to Gabriel
"That's the update for now, once I get more out of him I'll inform you"
Gabriel smiled "Good, time's ticking doc, be fast or get ready to meet God soon"

Present Day
Lagos
Purple Lagoon camp
In mon'itei's chamber, he's seen looking at himself in the mirror without his mask. His hand slowly touches his scarred monster-like face
"They made me like this" he whispered with nothing but pain in his voice "just to get more money and power, killed my entire village and took away my innocence"
Bomb sounds
Babies crying
Soldiers running and shooting
People screaming and falling to the ground
"I want this one alive, he has the virus we need"
"Yes governor"
The voices screamed in his head and he held it in pain, trying to block out the voices and sounds
"Make it stop!" He growled
"I want results, tear his body apart if you have to. I want that virus at all cost"
"Governor he's dying..."
"Governor we finally got the virus!"
"Get rid of the evidence, burn everything...no traces"
"Maika unti ama!!! (Make it stop!!!)" He screamed and smashed the mirror in front of him
Laden rushed into the room
"Mon'itei are you okay?"
Mon'itei ignored him "Are you guys ready to get Aron?"
"Yes Mon'itei, we're just waiting for your blessing" Laden said looking at the smashed mirror
"Go and make sure you bring him and the governor's daughter back"
"Yes boss" Laden said but stood where he was "um boss are...are you okay?"
"Get out!" He yelled angrily
Laden quickly got the memo and rushed out of the room
"Hmmm" he sighed and stared at his bruised fist that quickly healed "I'll make them pay"

In a dark underground room, lies Nwauwa. She leans by the prison bars as she looks into space, her body is dry and filled with bruises, her hair is disheveled and dusty and her clothes is torn leaving her half naked. The thick silence is interrupted by heavy footsteps
"Who's there?" Nwauwa jumps
"Easy my tigress" the voice said as the figure stood in front of her and knelt down
"You" she glared
"Yes me" the voice laughed
"Get out Kelvin" she shouted angrily
Mon'itei frowned "i told you to stop calling me that, it's mon'itei now"
"I hate you" she hissed as hot tears rolled down her cheeks
Mon'itei kept quiet as he stared at her
"I don't care" he said blankly
"What are you doing here?! Are you here to kill me like you did to my son?!" She screamed
"No" mon'itei shook his head
"Then what..."
"Aron is alive" he interrupted her
Nwauwa froze
"Yes Ola found him, but he lost his memory and he's with the governor's daughter. He doesn't remember you or anything"
"But he's okay? The governor didn't..." She paused
"No he's fine, nobody knows he's one of us so he's safe" he said like he actually cared
"Thank God" Nwauwa smiled tearfully
"Language, only one god here and that's me"
Nwauwa just rolled her eyes "To hell with you and your cult"
Mon'itei kept quiet still looking at her
"Are you going to kill him?" Nwauwa leaned closer to him
"I don't know"
"He's your son! What the hell happened to you Kelvin?!" She cried
"I died Nwa, they killed me. Look at me, i have no soul, they took everything" he hissed
"Did they also take your humanity?" Nwauwa whispered as she leaned closer to touch his face "you're not the Kelvin I fall in love with"
"I'm not, he died and he told me to take care of you. Too bad I'm a monster now, Nwa you're looking at a being filled with so much hate not a human"
"I want Kelvin back" she touched his face but he shifted
"He's gone, face your reality now" he said and stood up
"Don't kill my son, i beg you" Nwa cried after him
"We will see" he said as he vanished into the darkness
