Chapter 110 - Chapter 110

Then again, it was far from over...

As per Dothraki practices, a new khal must be appointed after the death of the old one.

And it would seem that these afflicted tribes did just that... infighting until the strongest came up on top.

But only within days or two of these new chosen leaders' victories... the dragons' descended again.

Mauling the heads of these new heads.

It didn't take a learned standing to know that something was off with the situation.

For it was clear that they were being targeted.

Made more prevalent by the fact that it happened a few more times after that.

The same fate even befell to the khals that sought to absorb these targeted khalasars into their ranks.

Interfering only got them dragged into the mess.

And the khal position that the horse folk admired and longed for... had actually become cursed.

A draconic curse.

None daring to step up to that rank... and these couragous raiders finally simmered in a kind of fear.

One that made them leaderless, without direction, and other tribes avoiding them as if they were carriers of a sickening plague.

Even many of their prized horses had long trotted far... scared and scarred from the regular visits of fiery beasts.

Granted, the method that the Bronze Demon employed truly was quite ominous, twisted, and... genuinely quite petty.

However, it would seem that he might have found the prolonged tormenting to be quite dull to at some point...

As it didn't take long for these listless tribes to be left as charred corpses in a darkened fields.

Perhaps only their captured slaves found joy in the predicament. Living to retell these tales.

With their stories pointing out how these slaughtering dragons are actually discerning of who is Dothraki and who is not.

---------

Granted, it was far from over still.

For the Royce's newest movement after making the Triarchy their own became apparent.

When a rather conspicuous number of bronze-clad warriors were riding far East.

This large party of the Order of the Bronze... with advanced war carriages... were clearly advancing for war.

To the worry and consternation of settlements and established territories they passed by.

Fortunately, they only passed through.

With their target and destination becoming known when they crushed a giant Dothraki force.

With the Lady Rhea Royce becoming the arrowhead that blasted her way through to the savage-infested Grass Sea.

Her every charge brought about green flames that cleansed many khals and khalasars into nothingness.

The Lady of Runestone established herself with this campaign... as the Bronze Huntress that put many horselords to shame. Even bringing many of them to death.

Of course, this unstoppable decimation also shed some light to many others.

Like the One-Horned Beast that can take on the rush of a hundred horses and still come out bloody but winning at the other end.

The Crescent Moons that cut thousands from the sky.

Alongside a literal Winged Knight who is accompanied by the many eagles and falcons to scout.

The Dog Headed who was more grounded with an army of dogs.

The Poison Tailed who has an appendage akin to a scorpion.

The Frost Knight whose presence fogs breathes and whose touch calls forth ice. A literal Ice Dragon in the form of a knight.

There's also the many Valyrian Steel whisperers who are armed with the enviable Valyrian Steel weapons that the Royces own. Treating those as mere boomerangs that come back with simple beckoning.

These bronze clad folk were clearly no longer hiding how magically enforced they were.

Especially with all the other magical tools that they've brought out to decimate Dothraki.

Like the bronze sword can coat its edges with flames.

Their bronze spear and staff that can twist and bend like snakes.

Those bronze boots that aid in speed and jumps.

That bronze hammer that smited with lightning.

And there's that bronze axe that called forth a little sun.

All showcased against Dothraki hordes... the Dothraki hordes that stood no chance.

It was so one-sided that Vaes Dothrak and the dosh khaleen were actually rumored to be pleading for diplomacy.

The proud horselords would never have.

Alas, they were up against the Bronze Kings of the modern day.

So, all they could do was run... run before their blood runs!
