Chapter 19 - chapter 19 Paranormal Liberation War Arc

Screen 1 – The War Begins

Emergency alerts light up screens across the country.

Hero agencies mobilize all at once.

After months of secret investigation, the heroes launch a nationwide surprise attack on the Paranormal Liberation Front — a massive villain army led by Tomura Shigaraki, with over 100,000 followers.

Maps fill the briefing room. Multiple cities. Multiple fronts. No room for mistakes.

Ben stares at the screen, jaw tightening.

"…That's not a gang," he says quietly. "That's a war."

Endeavor's voice cuts in.

"Exactly. And there are no spectators."

Ben looks down at the Omnitrix, its green light steady.

"Then let's end it fast. The longer this drags on, the more people get hurt."

Sirens wail outside.

Helicopters lift off.

Ben exhales once, steadying himself.

"Alright. Let's move."

The first strike begins.

Screen 2 – Gunga Mountain Villa Raid

Helicopters roar over the forest as the Gunga Mountain Villa comes into view.

Below, the massive stronghold of the Paranormal Liberation Front is packed with soldiers.

Endeavor looks over the assault teams.

"Tennyson, you're with the Gunga Mountain Villa Raid. We need you where the numbers are highest."

Ben nods without hesitation.

"Yeah. That makes sense."

He looks down at the Omnitrix, its green light steady despite the tension.

"A whole army, huh…"

The doors slide open. Cold mountain air rushes in.

Ben steps forward, cracking his neck.

"Alright. Crowd control. Rescue. No letting this turn into a massacre."

Below them, the signal is given.

The raid begins —

and Ben drops straight into the heart of the war.

Screen 3 – The Perfect Ambush

The signal flashes green.

Heroes descend all at once.

No warnings. No speeches.

Ben slams the Omnitrix mid-drop.

Click.

A heavy thud echoes through the mountains as Cannonbolt hits the ground and curls instantly into a living sphere.

"Let's roll."

He launches forward like a missile.

---

The ambush is flawless.

PLF commanders are caught completely off guard.

Before orders can be shouted, Cannonbolt smashes through barricades, tents, and armored lines, ricocheting across the compound at impossible speed.

Villains scatter — too late.

Pro Heroes strike in sync.

Capture weapons fire.

Restraints snap shut.

Thousands of PLF soldiers are neutralized within minutes.

Cannonbolt barrels straight through a command center, collapsing it without harming nearby heroes.

Inside, Re-Destro is pinned and restrained before he can fully react.

Shock spreads across the battlefield.

Communications go dead.

Signal towers fall.

Command chains shatter.

Villains shout conflicting orders.

Some freeze.

Some run.

From the air, heroes exchange stunned looks.

"For a second…"

"…this is working."

Ben uncurls near the center of the compound, reverting briefly to human form.

He scans the field — restrained enemies everywhere.

"…We just took out half their brain," he mutters.

For a moment — just a moment —

it looks like the heroes have already won half the war.

But deep underground, something stirs.

Screen 4 – Phase 2: The Critical Mistake

The battlefield goes quiet.

Too quiet.

Ben drops out of Chromastone form, shaking his head.

"Something's wrong. This ended way too clean."

Before anyone can respond, the ground trembles.

Not an explosion.

Not an attack.

A heartbeat.

Deep underground, an ancient order activates.

---

Despite Re-Destro's capture, the Paranormal Liberation Front had safeguards:

If Shigaraki awakens

If heroes launch a full-scale attack

→ Gigantomachia moves automatically.

No commands needed.

No leaders required.

---

Far away, at the hospital, Shigaraki's eyes snap open.

The signal is sent.

---

Back at Gunga Mountain, the earth splits open.

Trees are uprooted.

Mountainsides crack.

A colossal figure rises from below —

Gigantomachia.

Heroes freeze.

Villains stare in awe.

Ben's eyes widen.

"…Oh no."

Endeavor grits his teeth.

"So this was the fail-safe."

Machia lets out a roar that shakes the entire region.

Even restrained PLF soldiers begin screaming — not in defiance, but fear.

Ben clenches his fists, Omnitrix glowing.

"We didn't win half the war," he says grimly.

"We just woke the other half."

The battlefield shifts instantly.

From operation

to survival.

This is the turning point.

Screen 5 – Gigantomachia Breaks the Front

The ground explodes upward as Gigantomachia fully emerges.

Trees vanish. Concrete shatters. The Gunga battlefield is erased in seconds.

Heroes scatter — not retreating, but surviving.

"DO NOT ENGAGE HEAD-ON!" Edgeshot shouts through comms.

Gigantomachia roars and charges, League members clinging to his back as he barrels forward.

Straight toward populated areas.

---

The Frontline Collapses

Mt. Lady grows to full size and grabs his arm, straining with everything she has.

For a heartbeat, it works.

Then Machia keeps moving.

Kamui Woods binds his legs and torso with layers of restraints.

They snap.

Edgeshot coordinates nonstop.

"Slow him! Anything that buys seconds!"

It isn't enough to stop him.

But it's enough to begin the delay.

---

Ben Enters the Rotation

Ben slams the Omnitrix.

Click.

Humungousaur lands hard, driving both fists into the ground ahead of Machia.

Roads buckle. Terrain rises.

"Turn him!" Humungousaur roars.

Machia stumbles — just enough.

Ben switches instantly.

Click.

Diamondhead erupts across the street, crystal walls forming ramps and barriers, forcing Machia to change direction away from the densest city blocks.

"Path's shifting!" Edgeshot confirms.

Click.

Cannonbolt launches, ricocheting between Machia's legs, slamming into joints and forcing detours.

He can't knock the giant down —

but he can make every step cost time.

---

Saving Lives, Second by Second

Click.

XLR8 blurs into motion.

Sirens activate.

Civilians are pulled from danger zones before buildings collapse.

"MOVE NOW!"

"THIS WAY!"

Entire blocks are cleared just moments before Machia crashes through them.

Click.

Chromastone takes the brunt of a shockwave meant for a group of heroes, crystal body flaring as he absorbs the impact and redirects it into the sky.

"No one falls here," Ben growls.

---

Buying Time

Sedative teams race alongside the chaos.

Every second Ben buys matters.

Mt. Lady stumbles but gets back up.

Kamui Woods restrains again.

Edgeshot never stops calling shots.

Machia keeps moving — unstoppable —

but slower.

Redirected.

Delayed.

Ben stands between forms, breathing hard, Omnitrix glowing hot.

"We can't stop him," he says into comms.

"But we can make him pay for every step."

High above, helicopters close in with sedatives.

The battlefield isn't lost —

it's held together by seconds.

And right now, seconds are everything.

Screen 6 – The Tide Turns

A harsh warning tone cuts through the battlefield.

Ben looks down.

The Omnitrix flashes red.

"No… now?"

He tries to activate it again.

Nothing.

The device locks.

Power exhausted. Transformation unavailable.

For the first time since the war began, Ben is just human in the middle of hell.

---

Villains Seize the Moment

With Gigantomachia rampaging ahead:

PLF soldiers begin breaking free from restraints

The battlefield loses any remaining structure

Hero formations shatter into scattered units

What was an operation becomes pure crisis management.

"Fall back!"

"Evacuate civilians first!"

"Hold the line if you can!"

Heroes stop trying to win.

They start trying to limit losses.

Ben clenches his fists, frustrated, watching a fight he can't jump into.

"Damn it… I can't do anything like this."

---

The Psychological Kill Shot

Then it happens.

A massive screen hijacks emergency broadcasts across the area.

Shigaraki's symbol flashes.

The message is clear:

Heroes are losing control.

The world is watching.

Around Ben, even veterans hesitate for a split second.

That hesitation costs lives.

Ben grits his teeth.

"They're not just attacking bodies… they're attacking hope."

---

Green Light Returns

Suddenly —

the Omnitrix beeps.

The red fades.

The symbol turns green again.

Ben's eyes widen.

"…You've gotta be kidding me."

The device hums, stabilized.

Emergency power restored.

Ben doesn't hesitate.

He slams his hand down.

"Alright," he says, voice steady again.

"Round two."

As the green light bursts outward, heroes nearby feel it —

not as power,

but as momentum returning.

The war isn't over.

The tide has turned —

and Ben is back in the fight.

Screen 7 – Dabi's Broadcast (Society Breaks)

Every screen across the country hijacks at once.

Emergency channels. Phones. Public displays.

Dabi appears, flames flickering behind him.

His voice is calm. Too calm.

"My real name is Toya Todoroki."

The world freezes.

He continues, exposing everything:

Endeavor abused his family

The perfect hero image was a lie

Hawks killed Twice during the war

The footage rolls. Voices overlap. Proof piles up.

---

Impact

The damage is instant and massive.

Civilians panic in the streets

Protest alarms erupt mid-evacuation

Trust in hero society collapses in real time

Even heroes still fighting hesitate.

Not from fear of villains —

but from doubt.

"What are we protecting anymore…?"

---

Ben Holds the Line

Ben grits his teeth as the broadcast echoes around him.

"Now they're trying to break us from the inside."

The Omnitrix glows steadily.

He activates a controlled combat form, locking safety limits in place.

Ben fires precise energy shots — not to destroy, but to disable and push back advancing villains threatening evac routes.

Clean. Focused. Non-lethal.

"Eyes forward!" Ben shouts.

"People still need us!"

Nearby heroes snap out of it.

They move again.

---

End of the Illusion

Endeavor hears the truth broadcast to the world.

He doesn't answer.

He keeps fighting.

Ben looks at the burning skyline.

"Heroes don't get to quit when the truth hurts," he mutters.

Society cracks.

Trust shatters.

But the fight doesn't stop —

not yet.

The war enters its darkest phase.
