Chapter 10 - Catching Spree

Jessie and James walked down the cold, metallic hallway towards the door at the very end of it, the oppressive atmosphere pressing down on them with every step. Neither one of them even had to knock on the door before it automatically opened.

"Enter." Called the cool feminine voice, and they did before the door closed with a hiss behind them.

The room was dark and even more oppressive than the hallway behind them, occupied by the sole woman before them that sat leisurely behind her desk, the entire space illuminated only by the massive screen behind her.

"Approach." The woman commanded, and the duo obliged as they approached her desk, only stopping once they were directly in front of it. This also allowed them to see the woman more clearly.

She was mature, but not overly so as she was still very beautiful. The white Rocket dress hugged her body tightly, showing off her feminine curves while a slit on the side displayed her pale, toned legs. Her scarlet hair flowed back to her shoulders, before flaring out to the sides in a shape reminiscent of an anchor. And her matching eyes focused on them like a predator that had caught their prey.

"Report." She commanded, despite already knowing what it was she was about to hear.

"We have failed you, Ma'am." Jessie said plainly, not at all beating around the bush.

"Spectacularly, from what I've heard." She said, the edges of her lips curling upwards in a cruel smile as she looked over the written report in front of her.

"In a matter of minutes, you went from having over a hundred captured pokemon, May Birch, AND the unexpected windfall of Misty Williams in your hands, to losing ALL of them, several of your agents, including the Meowth, AND a helicopter."

""...""

Neither Jessie nor James said a word. What could they say?

Apologies were useless, as were promises of doing better. All they could do was wait patiently for their punishment to be decided.

"Nothing to say?" The woman asked, and the duo only stared ahead as they awaited the verdict.

"Very well. Your punishment will be-"

"Nothing."

"""!!!"""

All three of them jumped at the voice that spoke suddenly, a deep mechanical voice courtesy of a voice changer. But they all recognized it regardless.

"Boss!" The woman exclaimed while turning to face the screen, which had changed to show an obscure outline. At the same time, both Jessie and James knelt on one knee before the mysterious and enigmatic figure that ruled over Team Rocket.

"Ariana." The Boss replied, with no emotions discernable within their voice, nor a face to go with it to divine thier mood. And then more figures appeared on the screen, each appearing in little boxes that surrounded the image of their Boss. All Admins and upper elites of Team Rocket that operated throughout both Kanto and Johto.

The first was Proton, head of operations in Johto, then Petrel, who was in charge of infiltration and espionage. Gideon was head of research and development, while Surge, Sabrina, Pryce and Koga were all Gym leaders from both Kanto and Johto. Ariana made the eighth of the executives and mirror to Proton, as the head of operations in Kanto. And finally there was Archer, the second in command of the entire organization. If he gave a command, it was safe to assume that it came from the Boss himself.

"You do not wish for their failure to be punished?" Ariana asked warily, glancing at Jessie and James as she did so.

"Not this time. I believe an exception can be made, considering the circumstances." The Boss said slowly before their image flickered to show a boy, holding onto a cable with everything he had to keep a helicopter in place.

"Do any of you know who this is?" The Boss asked them, his mechanical voice slow and deliberate.

"No. Should we?" Surge asked without any sense of caution or respect towards the Boss.

"Perhaps not yet. This boy, is the one who fell from the sky several days ago. His name is Noah."

"""!!!"""

All of the executives looked at the image in alarm, but none more so than Jessie and James as they recalled the previous night.

"That could explain his strength..." Surge muttered while now analyzing the image, taking the situation uncharacteristically seriously.

"I must have him!" Gideon proclaimed, his eyes burning with scientific curiosity as he watched the inhuman levels of strength the boy displayed.

"Not yet. For the moment, no one will touch him." The Boss stated firmly.

There was a beat of silence, before Ariana asked the question on all of their minds.

"Why?"

"That is precisely the reason." The Boss answered cryptically.

"WHY is Noah here? HOW did he get here? WHO or WHAT sent him here? WHERE did he originally come from? These are all questions that we have no answers to, along with the question of his own intentions and capabilities. Until we know more about him, where his allegiences lie, what he can do, what he has backing him, I want no one to risk making an enemy of him. Is that clear?"

For a moment no one said anything as they digested the Boss' latest orders, before Pryce asked, "Is he not already against us? Given what happened last night at least."

"Not that we know of for sure." The Boss replied, before the image changed to show a recording of the battle the previous night, taken from the security cameras in the Pokemon Center.

"Despite his own gifts, he made no move to interfere with the battle last night. Instead he watched it passively. He only interfered when he was informed that two of his companions, May Birch and Misty Williams, were taken by our forces. Suffice it to say that he may not resist us unless provoked, or he may very well become an ally to us. I want none of you doing anything to jeprodize such an alliance unless we know his intentions for sure. Koga."

"Sir?"

"Send someone to keep an eye on him. I want to know everything they discover, his origins, drive, purpose. Any pokemon he captures and trains, and those closest to him."

"It will be done." Koga stated grimly.

"Excellent. Now then, Jessie. James."

""Sir!""

"I have a special job for the two of you."

Caterpie- The Worm pokemon.

Caterpie has a voracious appitite, allowing it to eat leaves bigger than it's body before your very eyes. It's antenna releases a terrific odor when threatened.

~~~
"Nice~!" I whistled while reading Caterpie's entry in the Pokedex, before receiving a notification that I was over my carry limit. My phone then asked if I wanted to send the new pokemon straight to the lab, or keep it with me and send one of my other pokemon back instead.
"I'll go ahead and send you back for now." I said, selecting to send Caterpie directly to the professor's lab. I can save the introductions for later when May and I make camp, especially since I hoped to catch more pokemon between now and then.
"So that's one down." May said behind me, before we started walking once more.
"Yep. Not a bad start." I replied while falling into step beside her.
We continued on the path for a while, taking in the sights while May filmed the scenery with her phone. Any time she wanted to film some pokemon we saw, I refrained from catching them since I didn't want to ruin the moment or her shot.
Eventually the path brought us to the bank of a river, which we would follow for the next few days until we got closer to the other side of the forest. It was here we decided to stop for a quick lunch, and where I caught my next couple of pokemon.
"Poliwag?"
Both May and I looked up when we heard that cry, just in time to see a Poliwag and Poliwhirl wander out of the river as they looked around curiously. I suspect they were lured out by our food.
"Poli..." The smaller of the two uttered while looking at our sandwiches longingly.
"Want some?" I asked, breaking off a couple pieces to offer to them.
"Whirl?" The larger of the two asked, going on the alert as I reached out towards them.
"Its alright, I'm not gonna hurt you." I promised them.
"Char char, Charmander." My started told them passionately. I don't know exactly what he said, but apparently it was enough to get them to relax as they hesitantly approached me.
"Enjoy yourselves." I said while putting the food down, and the two of them eagerly started eating it.
May and I both said nothing as we watched them eat, though the larger one still glanced up at us warily occasionally.
"Poliwag~!" The smaller one of the two declared when they had both finished eating, probably declaring it's contentment, before turning back towards the water.
"Hold on a minute." I called to them, and both pokemon stiffened up.
"How would you both like to eat good food like that every day?" I asked them, and both pokemon turned towards me warily.
"If you let me capture the both of you, then you can travel with me and I can give you food like that regularly. Also, when you're not with me then you'll be staying with someone who'll take good care of you both. What do you say?" I offered while holding out a couple pokeballs.
The two pokemon looked at each other, then me, then back at each other before forming a little huddle between the two of them.
"Wag wag, Poliwag."
"Poliwhirl, whirl."
I watched as the duo whispered to one another conspiratorially, even as Charmander tried to listen in.
"Poliwhirl!"
The larger of the two pokemon suddenly declared with finality, before turning towards me with a challenging look in it's eyes.
"Poliwhirl, whirl poli!" It declared while taking on a fighting stance.
"You'll join me if I beat you in a pokemon battle?" I asked it.
"Poli!" It declared in affirmation.
"Alright then! A two on two! How does that sound?"
"Whirl!"
"Charmander, you take on Poliwag! As for Poliwhirl....I choose you, Ekans!"
"Ekansssssss!"
The serpentine pokemon hissed menacingly as I sent it out, prompting Poliwhirl to flex back in retaliation. Quite the daring little tadpole.
"Ekans, use Poison Sting! Charmander, pepper it with Ember!"
"Char!"
"Kanssss!"
Both pokemon obeyed my orders as they fired off their attacks at their opponents, spraying both Poliwag and Poliwhirl with Embers and poisonous barbs.
"Poli!" Poliwhirl declared as it took a stance in front of both of them, protecting Poliwag from the two attacks.
"Poliwag~!"
As a result, Poliwag was able to leap out and fire off a Bubble Beam attack at Ekans and Charmander.
"Keep moving Charmander! Don't let that attack hit you!" I quickly ordered my starter, prompting him to dart about hurriedly as he tried to avoid the bubbles.
"Ekans, use Bite and Wrap on Poliwhirl!" I ordered my snake.
"Ekanssss!"
The poison type hissed as he shot forward and sank his fangs into Poliwhirl, who did nothing to avoid the attack while Ekans also Wrapped it with his body.
"Poli!" Poliwhirl declared, slipping out of Ekans' Wrap attack thanks to it's oily skin, before returning the favor by delivering a Double Slap attack.
"Kansss..." Ekans hissed angrily after being slapped, not that I could blame him.
On the other side, Charmander and Poliwag had devolved into a competition of Double Slapping and Scratching. Charmander would Scratch Poliwag with his claws, before Poliwag would return fire with a Double Slap from it's tail.
I decided to leave the two of them be while focusing on Ekans and Poliwhirl.
"Poli..." Poliwhirl trilled, drawing my attention to it as it's spiraled belly pulsed rhythmically.
"!!!"
"Ekans, use Glare!" I quickly ordered as the sensation of drowsiness started overtaking me, making me realize it was using Hypnosis.
"Kansss!" Ekans hissed while giving Poliwhirl a full body Glare.
"!!!"
"Poli..." It groaned while the Hypnosis ceased, due to the paralysis now plauging it from Ekans' Glare attack.
"Alright... I think it's ready!" I declared, throwing a pokeball at Poliwhirl now that it was paralyzed.
"Poliwhirl!" It shouted in alarm, before being sucked into the pokeball as it clattered to the ground. There it shook for a moment, then two, before falling still with a soft ding.
"Poliwag?!" The other pokemon exclaimed worriedly, abandoning it's battle with Charmander and hurrying to the fallen pokeball.
"I have one for you too." I said to it, making Poliwag look up at me as I held up the second pokeball.
"Poli..." It uttered, looking between me, and the pokeball that held Poliwhirl repeatedly, before finally making it's decision.
"Poliwag~!"
The little tadpole leapt up and slapped it's tail against the button on the pokeball, activating it as it was sucked inside.
"..."
"Really?" I asked as it shook briefly in my hands, before falling still as well.
"Wow, a two for one!" May declared as it became apparent the battle was over.
"Yeah." I said while picking up the ball holding Poliwhirl, before scanning both of them.
~~~

Poliwag- The Tadpole pokemon

This pokemon has very thin skin, thin enough that others could see it's spiral innards through it. Despite how thin the skin is though, it is flexible to the point that all but the sharpest of fangs or claws will bounce off of it.

~~~
Poliwhirl- The Tadpole pokemon
The skin of this pokemon is always slippery due to being covered in oils. This gives it an advantage since the slime covering it makes it nearly impossible to truly hold this pokemon in place.
~~~

"This is nice." I said while sending them both to professor Oak's. Not only did I get two pokemon in a single battle, but they could both go through different evolutions as well. Poliwhirl looked more than suitable to become the water/fighting type Poliwrath, while the Poliwag looked like it might make a good Politoed.

Of course I wasn't going to try and evolve Poliwhirl right away, as that could just make it disobedient and aggressive towards me. At the very least, I wanted to wait until after battling Brock.

"Ready to go?" May asked as I finished thanking Ekans for his effort, and recalling him to his pokeball.

"Yep. Let's go." I replied, and we continued down the path with Charmander and Beautifly.

Around an hour or so after we had our lunch, May and I came across a small tree that had several spiky balls growing on it. Balls that made May excited when she saw them.

"Give me hand picking them Noah! These are chestnuts!" May declared as she pulled a couple baskets from her bag, and handed one to me without waiting for my reply.

Together, the two of us quickly stripped the tree of every single chestnut on it's branches to fill our baskets, before May began to gleefully bag them all up carefully since they were all quite poky. Of course, she still kept several out and passed them to Blaziken, who used it's claws to effortlessly peel the chestnuts before roasting them so we could eat them.

"Wow.. Those are good!" I exclaimed after trying one, while May moaned with satisfaction.

It was right as we were about to leave, with Blaziken still peeling/roasting chestnuts for us, that one of the nearby bushes began to rustle.

"Odd?"

I blinked as what looked like a small bush on legs appeared from the brush, before focusing on us as Blaziken handed me another freshly roasted chestnut.

"Oddish!" It declared excitedly, hurrying forward until it was right in front of me, and then jumping up repeatedly as it tried to reach the chestnut.

"Is this what you want?" I asked, getting a sense of deja vu as I did so, before kneeling down and offering the chestnut to the Oddish.

"Oddish odd!" It declared happily, before it quickly ate the offered chestnut right out of my hand.

"That's it... Focus on the good stuff." I said slowly, reaching for a fresh pokeball.

"Odd?"

"Here we are." I said, tapping the pokeball to the Oddish before it could run away.

Without even a fight, Oddish was sucked into the pokeball before it gave a few quick jerks in my hand, and then fell still.

"Another one bites the dust~." I said with a smirk, quickly scanning the pokeball.

~~~
Oddish- The Weed pokemon
At night, this pokemon will search for fertile, nutrient rich soil to plant itself in during the day. It is believed that this pokemon's feet turn into roots while they are planted, holding them firmly into place until they decide to move.
~~~

As with the other pokemon I'd caught today, I sent Oddish straight to the professor for until later before rising up to my full height.

"Someone's on fire." May said wryly.

"Well it IS the start of my journey." I pointed out to her. I doubted that I would be catching pokemon nearly as quickly a week from now.

"Well we still have some time today, and there's something I want to show you when we make camp." May said, and we started back down the trail. Only now we were munching chestnuts as Blaziken peeled and toasted them for us.

The afternoon wore on as we walked, the sun sinking lower and lower towards the Indigo Plateau in the west, with May occasionally stopping for more pictures or filming whenever we found a particularly picturesque location. One such location was a small waterfall where we found several water type pokemon playing.

My hand twitched as I eyed all of the Psyduck, Poliwag, Goldeen, and even a Vaporeon, but a stern look from May dared me to ruin her shot. Both before and after she got it.

Finally, roughly around dinner time, we arrived at the campsite.

There were three different fire pits set up with plenty of space between them for several groups of trainers traveling through, each with a few logs around them for seating while the edge of the campsite was bordered by the river.

"This is a nice little area!" May stated as she looked around, and I had to agree. Not only were we right on the river with plenty of shade, but I could also see and smell several trees and bushes nearby that were heavy with berries for picking.

Together, May and I quickly set up her own cabin tent similar to Misty's old one, as well as a camp kitchen station with a small gas stove, tubs for sinks, and counter-like tables.

"I'll go ahead and get started on dinner if you want to get us some fire wood." May suggested as she exited the tent eventually while wearing a frilly apron over her clothes.

"Ok..." I uttered dumbly, not moving from my place as I watched her work for a minute.

"Char char." Charmander said in a teasing tone as he nudged my leg.

"Shut up." I grumbled at him, even as the little pokemon smirked up at me.

Together, the two of us explored the surrounding area while gathering branches to bring back for the fire, until I had quite a large stack to work with, hopefully enough for the night.

When we returned the smell of a nice stew greeted Charmander and I, which made my mouth water even as May continued working as she chopped the last of the vegetables. I made my way to the fire pit and dumped the branches near it before arranging the smaller ones in the pit itself.

"Alright. Light 'er up!"

"CHAR!"

At my prompting, Charmander fired a spray of Embers at the branches to set them alight. Within a matter of minutes there was a nice fire going that gave off some nice warmth.

"Alright, we just have to set the food stew for a bit." May said as she sat next to me on the log.

"It already smells delicious." I told her, making May beam happily.

"While we wait, let me see your phone." She commanded while holding out her hand, and I passed it to her while curious what it was she wanted to do.

For a moment May didn't say anything as she fiddled around on my phone, before eventually handing it back to me.

"I downloaded some apps on it for you." She stated, before going into detail.

"The first few are all shopping apps." She started, pointing them out to me. "While you can get general day to day goods through them as well, the main reason I downloaded them was because you can get numerous pokemon related goods as well. For example, you can buy the Water and Leaf Stones needed to evolve Poliwhirl into Poliwrath, or Oddish into Vileplume after it evolves into Gloom. And while they cost quite a bit more, you can also get a Kings Rock or Sun Stone if you wanted a Politoed or Bellossom instead.

"Then there's the Silph co app, which you can use to directly order any of the pokeballs they make, even those that aren't commonly distributed to other suppliers. Additionally, they sell some of the other gadgets they produce, such as the Silph Scope. Another app is for Devon Corp, a major supplier of parts and gadgets in Hoenn. You can get items like a rebreather or a full scuba suit from them."

I scrolled through the different apps as May described them to me, even spending a good portion of my money on a LOT more pokeballs, along with the stones needed to evolve the pokemon I caught today. A Water Stone for Poliwhirl, a King's Rock for Poliwag, and both a Sun Stone and Leaf Stone for Oddish to choose from.

I had to fight back a couple tears as I watched the money I swindled from Gary trickle away.

"What's this last app?" I asked, pointing to the one called Etrade.

"That is the global pokemon trading hub. People from all over the world post on there about pokemon that they are trading or selling. So, for example, if you were to find someone looking for a Rattata from Kanto, and they were willing to trade a Rattata from Alola..."

"It would save me the effort of looking them myself." I finished for her while growing excited.

Obviously I didn't plan to trade any of the pokemon I had collected for myself, but some of them would be easy to find more of, or if I caught multiples at the same time like Poliwag and Poliwhirl.

"Thank you." I said, giving May a side hug while she beamed at me.

"There's still some time until dinner's ready. What are you gonna do until then?"

"I was planning to start some training and then rotate my pokemon to properly meet Caterpie, Poliwag, Polwhirl and Oddish." I replied.

"Alright. Just try not to make too much of a mess around the campsite." May responded.

"I won't." I said, feeling like a kid being chastized by their mother.

"Come on out!" I called, bringing out the rest of my pokemon, Rattata, Pidgey, Ekans, Magikarp and Spearow.

I let them all look around for a minute or so, before clapping to get their attention.

"Tonight we're going to start training to make you all stronger. So, let's get started."

Charmander was easy to set up, as I had him sit near the fire and practice his breathing exercises again. The most important thing for him was building up the strength of his flames. Once he could at least use the move Flamethrower, then we could worry about other types of training.

For Pidgey and Spearow, I had them both focus on trying to learn Wing Attack while using a nearby tree for practice. I wasn't sure if I was just imagining it, but it felt to me that Spearow was a lot more cooperative now than he was last night. Maybe the situation with Team Rocket helped me gain his respect.

Ekans was busy trying to learn the move Acid, which I thought would help him against opponents he may not necessarily be able to sink his fangs into, like Poliwhirl. Magikarp meanwhile was flopping around on the ground. Literally. Exept now she was actually training as she tried to make herself flop higher and higher into the air.

Finally there was Rattata, who I had training her endurance as she used Quick Attack to run laps around the campsite while I timed her. My goal with her was to put her small size and speed to use in her future battles. If not for the fact that she was female, I was almost tempted to call her Master Splinter.

Maybe I'll try to make sure my future Alolan Rattata is male...

As this was our first training session it was obvious that everyone tired out pretty quickly, forcing me to call it quits as I called them all back in.

"Alright! That was pretty good for our first training session everyone!" I told them, earning me a few chirps and cries in return. "Now I'm going to have to send you all to someone I know. He'll be taking care of my pokemon while they're not traveling with me, and I expect you all to be on your best behaviors while you're with him." I told them all seriously.

After getting a series of cries in affirmation, I recalled all of them but Charmander and Magikarp to their pokeballs, then rotated them out for Caterpie, Oddish, Poliwag and Poliwhirl. The reason I kept Charmander and Magikarp with me was because the former was my starter, so I didn't intend to leave him with the professor unless something makes me have to, while the latter was easily the weakest of all my pokemon. My hope was that I could get her to train to the point of evolving quickly, and that she wouldn't eat me afterwards.

While Poliwhirl and Poliwag both already knew me and Charmander, I still had to do introductions for Caterpie and Oddish, who I caught more by surprise than anything. Once they were all up to speed, I got them started on their training as well.

My goal with Caterpie was to try and get it to evolve as soon as possible, like Magikarp. Thankfully most bug type pokemon, Caterpie included, were known for evolving fairly quickly.

At the same time I had Oddish work on using the move Razor Leaf, a move it must have inherited from one of its parents since Oddish didn't normally learn it. But, as it was Oddish's strongest move, I had her train it against the same tree Pidgey and Spearow had been using to train Wing Attack.

As for Poliwag and Poliwhirl...

"Alright Poliwhirl, I want you to point something out to me." I told the pokemon while kneeling down beside him, pulling out my phone as did so and showing him the pictures of Politoed and Poliwrath.

"Which one would you rather evolve into, Politoed or Poliwrath?" I asked him while pointing the two of them out.

"Whirl!" He declared without even the slightest hesitation, pointing directly at Poliwrath.

"That's what I thought." I said with a smirk.

"Alright then! Poliwrath is both a water and fighting type pokemon! So until I evolve you with a Water Stone, let's train your body and try to learn some fighting type moves!"

"Poli!"

With both of us on the same page, I was about to try and do just that. But then...

"Key key key."

"""MANKEY!"""

A series of grunts drew all of our attention, as I turned to see a troupe of Mankey traveling down the same path May and I were walking earlier.

"What are Mankey doing here?" I muttered to myself, before one proceeded to pick up a piece of discarded chestnut shell.

"Oh no..." May uttered quietly, while I also got a bad feeling as the entire troupe looked from the discarded shell, to our camp.

"""..."""

"""BUKEEEEEEY!!!"""

As one, the entire troupe Screeched as they rushed us in blind fury.

"Take care of them, Blaziken!" May declared as she sent out her starter.

"BLAZE!" Blaziken roared, its wrists and feet already wreathed in flames.

"You guys take care of the rest, Poliwhirl and I will take care of the leader!" I declared excitedly, taking this chance as I zeroed in on the largest of the troupe.

"Poliwhirl, use Bubble Beam on that one!" I ordered, pointing to the largest of the troupe.

"Poli!" He declared while firing a powerful stream of bubbles.

"BUKEY!" The Mankey roared as it charged right through them, ignoring any potential damage it was taking as it tried to attack Poliwhirl.

"Brace yourself!" I ordered him, and Poliwhirl took a defensive stance right as the Mankey delivered a vicious Karate Chop. Only for it to slide right off of Poliwhirl's body.

"..."

"Now Double Slap!" I immediately commanded after taking a second to register what happened.

"Poli!" Poliwhirl declared as he grabbed Mankey with one hand, and slapped it repeatedly with the other.

"BUKEY!" Mankey Screeched once more, growing increasingly angry with each passing second. But apparently the anger was not dulling it's battle IQ.

Surprising even me, Mankey used Low Kick to sweep Poliwhirl's legs out from under him, sending him sprawling to the ground. That left him open as Mankey then proceeded to unleash a flurry of Fury Swiped on him.

"Caterpie, help him out with a Tackle!" I quickly ordered my little bug type.

"Piiiiiiiiiie!"

Caterpie gave what might have been a battle cry as it shot forward as quickly as possible to slam his body into Mankey, taking its attention away from Poliwhirl.

"Oddish, use Razor Leaf to draw its attention!" I ordered my little weed.

"Oddish!" She cried while doing just that, sending a barrage of razor sharp leaves at Mankey that drew its attention away from Caterpie this time.

"BUKEEEEEEY!" It screached with fury, lunging at Oddish while swiping its paws angrily.

"Odd, odd, odd, Oddish!"

Oddish however just jumped back to narrowly avoid each swipe of its paws, like she was dancing, before performing a backflip as she launched another barrage of Razor Leaf attacks right in its face.

"Now Caterpie, use String Shot!" I ordered him, and the little caterpillar sprayed Mankey with numerous strands of stick string that held it in place.

"Poli..." Poliwhirl growled suddenly, drawing my attention back to him just in time to see him approach with Magikarp slung over his shoulder like a club, her tail clutched in his hand.

"Wait-"

"KAAAAAARP!"

Magikarp this time cried out with an intensity that surprised me, as Poliwhirl used her to beat up Mankey with absolutely no hesitation.

The force of their combined attacks was apparently finally enough, and Mankey collapsed unconscious after one final hit to the head.

"Well... That was something." May said beside me, her and Blaziken having already run off the rest of the troupe.

"You're telling me." I replied, even as Poliwhirl and Magikarp high fived, or finned in her case, over their victory.

I just shook my head at their antics while walking towards Mankey, and tapping a pokeball to it. As it was unconscious, and unable to resist, the pokeball quickly fell still as I completed yet another capture.

Mankey- The Pig Monkey pokemon

Though light and agile on its feet, this pokemon possesses a ferocious temperament. When it is angered, it flies into a ferocious frenzy that will not stop until nothing around it is left standing, or it is knocked unconscious.
